We rode our bmx bikes all through these and surrounding wooded areas back in the late 70s/ early 80s.I was surprised to find their trals at McBride still wide (Jeep wide) open as others i have found to be overgrown or posted(seriously posted by Turnpike commission).Screw route 43!No more basketball court. Now theres one tennis and they made other hockey.Nice playground area fir 8 year olds and stoners

I love mcbride park. I wish they would do something more with it though. Maybe a splash pad (for kids) where the basketball court used to be, because no one wants to go in the pool when it opens in the summer. It definitely needs updated, its been 20 years since they have renovated it and the park is all mossy and falling apart. I think they should also put a big sign at the bottom of the hill or something so more people know its there. They have all that space and potential....do something... Please!!!

I used to like this park it went so down hill they need to update this park no basketball court witch people had fun and loved and they took out swings like the heck what is a park without swings a shame

I love it there. Ive been going here since I was a kid. No bathrooms or basketball court now though. Park needs redid but still has some life left in it. I hope they do something with it.

Decent little park. 2 baby/ toddler swings. 4 bigger kids swings. A small play area for toddlers. Bigger area for older kids. Theres a grove near the bigger play area. Deck hockey and tennis courts. Plenty of parking.

Nice park for everyone. Not a lot of room for dogs to run except in the fenced tennis court on the asphalt. My dog gets excited to go and Chas balls and not worry about getting run over or other dogs.

I love this park there is a public swimming pool during the summer season of course tennis court basketball court deck hockey lots of places to walk baseball field its a great place and peaceful

Small parking lot, good basketball and tennis courts, covered pavilion with four picnic tables, good size in ground pool, two play sets with slides, one swing set. I just wish there was better play surfaces and shaded benches near the play sets. The picnic party shelter is down a closed road but Im sure once they fix it up that would be something to rent out. Nice playground for ages two & up.

Nice park with public pool,playground,a field,and a basketball court. It is a great place to have fun and relax.

Visited for the pool for the kids but it starts at 3 ft too high for small kid. Plus they dont open the community pool until 1pmSo we had to wait

Being updated with a Dek hockey rink. Could use better bathrooms and repairs to shelter house.

Nice clean pool. Guards and people watching the tags are very friendly and helpful.

Basketball court is gone. The shelter is disintegrating because the city obviously doesnt care to preserve green space where it doesnt get them headlines.
