Great place to walk, jog and run! Beautiful park with wide, spacious walkways and well manicured grassy areas. Well maintained space and respected by everyone enjoying the park. Baseball and soccer fields for use by permit and a nice dog park, by permit, as well. There is plenty of parking available, too. This is a jewel of a park!

My son played a baseball game there. Really nice park and easy to get to. Lots of parking. They have lots of things for kids to do. Even a dog park to take your dogs.

A very nice and tidy little park. The only issue is the dog park has so many strict requirements (you have to fill out an application and receive written permission to use it), that no one ever uses it. It literally sits empty - Ive maybe seen it being used twice since I moved to Green Tree two years ago.The field and facility usage requirements are also incredibly strict and full of rules. It really gets in the way of locals being able to enjoy their own park.

Nice park for walking. Plenty of parking spaces. Farmers Market every Thursday during Spring/Summer. Dog park is NOT open to public. Rarely see any Greentree residents using it. Park includes 2 playgrounds, Dek Hockey rink, Baseball/Softball fields and a Soccer field. Not sure if the fields are intended for Greentree residents only like the dog park. Ive seen people playing Cricket at the park multiple times which was pretty cool to watch. Point Park Universitys baseball field is located in the park. Sometimes you can see the team practice or even watch them play a game. The larger playground is located on school property, so its closed to the public during school hours. Walking track is also closed to public around lunch time when school is in session, but Ive seen people continue to use it. Theres 2 sets of bathrooms, but only the lower set near the gazebo seems to be open all year long. Park is kept up nicely.

Great farmers market on Thursdays and after the market, there is different bands that play until sunset. Beautifully maintained park and ball fields plenty of parking too

TO REACH THE DOG PARK:- Do not park at the school, but at the park. English is weird, isnt it?- Its only for Green Tree residents. RFID entry only.REVIEW:This park is a great spot to train for your first 5k, or just to go for a leisurely stroll. We live on Mt. Washington, so its nice to walk without having to walk around cars parked on the sidewalk. The paths are paved (mostly) and Pittsburgh level (as opposed to actually level). Can be a bit crowded if there are ball games or if the weather is suddenly nice. The entire loop (including gravel section) is pretty close to one half mile.While its clear there are no dogs allowed on the fields, the big sign will all the rules isnt really clear about dogs on the paths. The picture shows a person and a dog without a leash connecting them, in a red circle with a line through it. Does this mean no dogs, or just no off-leash dogs? Best not to risk it, in my opinion.Ignore those saying its impossible to reach the off-leash area without rule breaking; they are objectively wrong. Simply park in the designated lot for Green Tree Park, and not the one for the elementary school. Theres a huge sign that says Green Tree Park on it (imagine that!), maybe 500 ft away from the school entrance towards 376, away from Giant Eagle. I come from the opposite direction, and I dont see how people missed this....If you park in the correct lot, theres a trail at the back that leads directly to the off-leash area, but *it is for Green Tree residents only.* You need a key fob to open the gate. Ive only ever seen 3-4 people in there with their dogs. Seems like a great spot if you qualify for entry.

Good place to go and kick a soccer ball around. Large open fields and grassy areas. Smaller play areas are there as well.The walking track is great because it is so well lit and wide open. The park has two parking lots so there is always parking available.

An incredible place if youre part of a softball or hockey league. Not so great if youre looking for a place to walk and play on the playground with the kids. Although the playground is relatively new, its very small in comparison to the size of the park.

Nice little park for track running. Has a single enclosure dog park and shares a border with a school this is closed over lunch during the school year.

We go here for youth baseball games when my sons team plays greentree. The fields are in great shape. There is a little playground for other kids. I do not like getting in and out of the park during rush hour traffic because of the entrances are near each other on Greentree Rd.

Ample parking, and well-maintained facilities. The soccer field is by reservation only, as is the newly refurbished deck hockey rink. Lots of handicap parking and easy access. Great place to bring kids of all ages.

Nice park but what is the point if dogs arent allowed on the walking path and theres an application process and fee in order to get a key for the dog park. Just moved to green tree so I am currently looking for a park where I can walk my dog.

A nice park with baseball, roller hockey, a walking track, and a few other attractions. Theres a small farmers market here during the summer on Thursdays. Technically theres a dog park, but you cant walk to it, because dogs are banned from the rest of the park (and this ban is enforced by local police). Did I mention the dog park is way in the back and inaccessible without breaking the anti-dog rules? Things that make you go hmm.

Durning traffic times it can be hard to get out onto the main Street but otherwise very nice.

Im visiting a friend from out of town, and my sweet pittie Sasha needed to get out and run. I looked up local dog parks, and Greentree Dog Park came up. I promptly went over, found the park, and tried to enter. It was locked. I then saw the rules: You must be a resident of Greentree, whatever that is, have your dog inspected and trained, and cannot be an aggressive dog breed. Obviously this wasnt a place founded by dog lovers, as any dog lover knows someone that takes a Pit Bull to a dog park is a good dog owner, and those pitties are trained and adorable. I wish I could give no stars.

Good place to go a d relax and walk around the multiple loops of the park, there are lot of grounds to practice. Kids have a separate play area for their activities. Throughout the summer there is a farmers market in full swing.

Its a good park for good people. Nice, clean and quiet. Used to run here morning. Sometimes they have farmer market here.

Dog park needs an application process to even get a key to it. And it is for locals only anyway. My dogs and I were super bummed. Everywhere else in the park is peppered with NO DOGS signs everywhere. Serious letdown.
