Its a piece of paradise in the middle of the city! A very great place to relax for a bit from the high speed living. Having a walk, riding in a bike or simply sitting down under the trees make you feel wonderful! Interesting child-style sculptures around, quote messages and a very strategic location, make it a better place!

A small green space in what can be a busy part of town. Nice place to relax, can be very busy during mornings and afternoons due to people traveling to and from work.

Firstside park is awesome. It is a small slice of peace and quiet. A place to enjoy some shade on a sunny day. A place where you can go and slow down while quietly reflecting on the days events. The landscaping is nice and the grounds are well maintained. Theres even some strange statues and lawn art. I think that is what you call it. In my opinion Firstside park is a great place, morning, noon, or midnight. It would not surprise me if you decide that you liked it just as well.

Nice park but right in the middle of a traffic pattern. Also a bit abandoned on quite days. Close to the courts and good place to eat lunch on a nice day.

Cool place to soak up some sun, or hide in the shade. weird, cool statues all over the place and proximity to the Art Institute provide for some good observing

It is a nice small respite in an urban area, but a rat ran between my feet as I sat on a bench. Cant help that in a city, I suppose.

Fantastic asset in the middle of downtown Pittsburgh.

This is a great little park downtown. Excellent for Pokémon trainers wanting to hit a couple downtown Pokéstops while still being in a nice green area. There are benches and also tables to sit at. There are 5 Pokéstops here and are often lured on the weekends. The 5th stop which is a little further away than the others tends to have a bit rarer catches.

I love it..

Defensive architecture makes this place unfriendly to the disabled and homeless. It reflects poorly on our city.
