Allegheny Riverfront Park

Great place to jog or walk! This picture was taken in Downtown Pittsburgh. This is the Alleghany River which rises in Pennsylvania, flows north into New York, comes back to Pennsylvania and becomes the Ohio River in about a mile to the west from here. The Ohio River is the border of 3 States -Ohio/Kentucky, Kentucky/Indiana and Kentucky/Illinois. Then it merges with the Mississippi River in the south of Illinois and the east of Missouri.

Beautiful place to walk around!

Peaceful, calm and nice!! I very much enjoyed when they had the GPS Waterfront chairs-- essentially you could move these chip-enabled seats along the waterfront, and take pics and such. Cool mix of technology and nature. This is a nice stretch to walk, job, run, bike ride. I dont notice too many rollerbladers and skateboarders here, but Im sure you can (look of for the edge!)

This is a well taken care of place, not to far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Really enjoy the chance to have a seat and relax while still being able to take in all the sites that the point and the north shore have to offer.

Not actually a park. It was a trail along the riverfront with a few trees. It was a good place for a run with good views of the river, but I definitely wouldnt call it a park. I am from Texas, so Im not sure if its common for the area, but the concrete was in really bad shape. So much so that it was hard to run in places without feeling like I might trip and fall in the river at any moment.

When in Pittsburgh need to visit the cultural center where the rivers meet. A lot of remaking done and sure to give you a feel of the city. Be well vacationsensei

It is a good idea to come here at least once a season. Even as they were changing plant and flower displays into the Christmas season, it was fascinating. Its such a lovely place to walk, and I wish there were more places to sit quietly, but it is a gem of a destination.

Good place to cool off

Needs lots of repairs on concrete. Trash overflowing cans.

Not what I expected pretty run down, lot of garbage around. It boasts of a nice place to see different plants not.

A perfect place to take a lazy stroll or a jog. Also its so.peaceful to watch the fountain.

When I was in college we all went there for a night class and took photographs of the bridge at night
