Beautiful! Went to the farmers market and by far the best one I went to this year. Very organized carrying natural items as well as jams, apple butters, harvest breads, bakery items and fruits and veggies. Many vendors. Spend some time here. Really great!

It has drainage issues, and some of the equipment is old, but its such a vibrant, well used park. The city takes good care of it, equipment doesnt sit around broken, repairs are made promptly, and there are recreational sports leagues, and kids playing, and great farmers markets, and basketball all the time. Plus, its a lovely looking park, and a nice place to be. I like it a lot.

Great place, I just wish it was better lit at night. Its a relatively safe neighborhood, but there have been robberies there in the evening. So long as your visiting in the sunlight, and particularly in Tuesdays for the local market, you will have a fine time

This is a huge park that covers an entire block in Lawrenceville! Great family neighborhood with dogs welcome, a sprinkler in the summer, fireworks on the 4th of July, festivals, concerts and lots of different events around the holidays and in the spring and summer time they have activities for kids and all kinds of fun things to do. With a baseball field, basketball court, fairly large jungle gym, area for swings and plenty of space to run walk jog or bicycle.

Certainly one of Pittsburgh parks that has gone down hill. Playground is nice and it seems that tennis courts are maintained but other than that the paths are crumbling and difficult to walk through the park. Sad to see it go down hill.

Lovely park, its nice to see some green space in this part of the city. However, there are no functioning bathrooms, so be prepared to use a porta-potty. This park is more recreation oriented, so if youre coming to the park just to chill there may not always be space.

There are a couple of fields, a concrete entertainment area, tennis courts, and a playground. Very nice park! The farmers market is my favorite part, even though it doesnt start until June. Fairly clean, really nice to walk around in. Very close to the road, so sometimes you can hear traffic. Overall, great bit of nature!

The park is just ok. Unused facilities. A pond that no longer has water. Bathrooms that are run down and often locked up. Broken pavement pretty much everywhere. The trees are great and plenty of grass. A good place to stop and have lunch on a park bench. This park could really use an update. So until then, its just okay.

This is a great and very well-maintained park in the citys Bloomfield neighborhood, running parallel to 40th street . Its got a nice playground and swing sets for kids( wheelchair swings, too!), a baseball diamond and soccer field, tennis courts, lots of beautiful old trees, and is just all around great to go walking through. Also has several Pokestops and 1 Pokemon Go Gym for those who play.

A decent enough place when the weather is good and there’s an event with music and food vendors. The park is poorly maintained with cracked walkways, limited lighting and only a few trash cans. The light behind the tennis courts was out for over a year before the bulb was replaced.

Tennis courts are gone. Great park. However, they are replacing the tennis courts currently with shuffleboard and bocce courts. So no more tennis. If you want to find tennis courts, Highland Park, Washingtons Landing, Schenley Park, and many other parks still have courts. Again, there are zero tennis courts at this park.

This park is so dang cute. There are nice tennis courts, nice soccer fields, nice walking paths, a nice playground, and there are always great events there like farmers markets and movie nights! The building next to the pond could use some touching up, though. Overall its a great little park to have nearby to set up a hammock and read :) Surprisingly quiet for so much activity in and around it!

Shady park with room for almost every sport you could want. Tennis, basketball, baseball, soccer, theres room for all of it. Located on the real historical Pittsburgh arsenal with a few monuments to the history and tragedy of the place helps round out this park. It could use a little restoration on a few pathways and courts, but overall it has charm and activities that most will overlook these faults.

Wow, I was surprised not to see any syringes or condoms or broken glass bottles or bullet casings. What kind of Park is this? With all the dogs around Im surprised I didnt step on any . I think that the feeling of relief was so immense that I almost exasperated myself just by the thought alone. I lowel, a park is only as good as its community, you can tell a lot about an area simply by the way they use, unuse or misuse a place

Great neighborhood park. Great for and . Safe for single . You can just sit and read and relax if you want. No druggies drunks or scammers. Well manicured. Clean. Challenging landscape for runners and walkers. Also courts fenced in. Also a large fenced area in the back corner for dogs that are obedient w/o leash. By the way, there is a park fully fenced near by under the 40th st. . Only thing is that it is small and not all the time.
