This is a cool statue with a plaque located outside of an office and hotel block. Love that it exists, but see this as a lost opportunity to educate the public on this very important important part of WWII history.

The Stars Are For The Sculpting Artist And The Courage Of The Natives Interpretation Of Their Heros...Needless 2 Say, This Was A Real Estate War; Didnt Need To Swallow So Many Patriotic Stories. I Just Cant Shake Hands With This Style Of Idealism.
