Could be better maintained (grass, etc). But I liked that they had bag recycling stations that people can use to either donate grocery bags, or use to pick up after their dogs. Great idea.

Love this park for all its wide spaces also a great place to catch local sports. this part contains plenty of parking space a baseball diamond lots of grassy wonderful places to picnic, a large play area toward the back of the property, and even a childrens aquatic play area filled with fountains that come up from the ground to keep cool during the summer. maintenance is top-notch they keep the place nice and clean and the grass and surrounding vegetation is well kept up. since I have to be honest my only complaint is when I was walking through the park today one of the resident homeless men was using a park bench as a toilet... unfortunately being so close to the freeway and being so close to shopping centers and food areas and a large Circle K this part does tend to attract some drug use and transient traffic. I have been approached in the past by ppl seeking crystal of go-fast in the park... which is meth. just like anywhere else you go be aware of your surroundings and be careful who you talk to.

We came here last Summer, 2017, and the splash pad was in decent condition. We went today May 31st 2018 and the area was unkept. The weeds are growing out of control, trash every where, the grass super long and four water spouts are not working at all. Which leads me to believe they dont upkeep or check this spalsh pad before they open for the year. I have provided pictures to show. Its ashame they let this area go. Its so convenient for the Ahwatukee area. As its the only splash pad super close to us without driving to Tempe or Chandler. I hope they fix this soon. It was a great free activity to do in the early mornings!

First time here, wasnt to bad but I do feel as if the photos here on google map made it look WAY different, and much nicer then what I saw. Not saying its horrible just saying the photos posted make it seem like a 5 star and that was not my expirience what so ever, I didnt even see the splash pad let alone see any water. Unfortunately people leave their trash all over the ground, the table I was at looked like a small car was dropped on it, sharp metal pieces, beer bottles on ground wrapped in plastic and brown bag. There are restrooms witch are pretty UNCOMMON at parks now adays, But was somewhere for my snakes to get out and stretch.

It is a good place for baseball and softball. Really huge with almost all grass. The city must dump a million gallons of water on the grass fields a year.. Very nice grounds crews come 3-4 times a week to keep grass trimmed and the area really neat and the 2 ballgames in top top shape for the kids leagues.

Parking way too far from playground equipment for people bringing toddlers, especially with a stroller as you have to practically drag it across dead lumpy grass/weeds. Also, a lot of homeless and young people smoking pot hanging around. I guess people with dogs to walk around the outer perimeter on the trail and sports folks, due to all the different types of playing fields, would enjoy spending time in this park.

Pretty unkept park. Lots of homeless hanging out and people just creeping about. Families that cant afford to take their kids to real water parks just take their kids to this places water fixture.

Ha
Review №27

Appreciate the attempt, but one of the worst parks Ive ever been to. Outside of the baseball facilities, which are nice, its terribly laid out ... The playground is painfully far from parking to walk with little ones, and too far to send them when siblings are playing ball. Sidewalks end randomly (perilous or annoying with a stroller). Picnic areas have Insufficient parking to host a picnic... overall layout is so poor it limits use to homeless and unscrupulous dealings... Kind of shady place to take my kids, I dont really feel comfortable there with them alone. Needs a remake please, Ahwatukee!! Think Desert Breeze or Tumbleweed!

I like this park literally behind my apt, I would give it a 4 star or 5 if they kept it better. Some lights are not working, they need a timer on their electrical outlets to shut down after 8pm when its day light savings. Homeless people or drifters with cell phones use it to charge their devices at night. Can make u feel unsecured when taking a walk. And the city really needs to enforce the dog leash rule and picking up after pets.

Wide open spaces. Multipurpose design with plenty of baseball diamonds strewn about. Gazebos with pic-nic tables to gather round. Basketball hoops for the globetrotters that hit the courts. Playing Pokemon GO! while walking or jogging the designated and measured pathways will weave you through the many different areas of the park. All the while the distance markers will be keeping you in the loop on the total distance youve progressed along the paths. GYM battles and Pokestops are her in pretty good supply and should do well with filling your bag with items and leveling your XP. Enjoy.

Generally the park is great with a neat layout. Unfortunately, it is often a site for drug use and has a great deal of the homeless population living there throughout the day, and they tend to occupy and litter the shady areas and places a family might want to picnic. Have witnessed chemical drug use and alcohol present among them which places a unsafe cloud over the park.

We recently went through a remodel and I have a big swing on my patio and I told the manager I needed help with my swing to move it because my roommate is disabled and only has use of one arm they led me to believe that they would help no one called back to let me know it would not happen then I called and talked to Corina and she told me my swing was to big and had no business being there since I have lived here since 2008 with no problem I thought her comment was inappropriate anyway they did not help at all my swing was taken apart by the painters and still sits that way the staff told me to bad to sad my thing is if they could not help or did not want to they should have called to tell me not leave me hanging I might have found another way if you move here just know the staff does not care.

Huge hidden park in Ahwatukee. For volleyball courts 3 softball fields restrooms kids splash pad two full outside basketball courts and lots of area to play. They have several ramadas with grills and picnic tables. It is a little hard to find if you are not used to it. The entrance is on a busy Street.

Not much to offer, but its got the basics. Theres a baseball field, basketball court, water play feature, unique playground with a fire truck structure, lots of grass, 2 different entrances/parking lots (one on the South side, one on the West side) and most importantly its usually quiet and empty.
