1st time visit, park was full of families and bird species, park actives, social distancing, mask wearing, and social people respectful of each other. I did have to walk aways to use the restroom, thank goodness this one wasnt locked. The park maintenance drove through often and the park had a clean appearance.

We were very happy to get out to walk a little bit. But almost everyone there which was packed were not wearing mask, so we decided to lease, I was very upset. But what can you do with people that dont follow protocols. The park is a lovely place. Its a shame .

Great time at Encanto park. Itd been one of the best historic parks in the valley for decades. The kids never get tired of the water fowl or the train.

Simply beautiful ..surrounded with water with ducks your little ones can enjoy feeding...play area for kids and enough lawn and walking/running/cycling space too for all ages to enjoy!Perfect to spend few hours ..especially during the day.. looking forward to our next visit..

Its good to walk around with a mask on but cant stay far enough to relax one without one. You can sit in your car peacefully.

Best Park within 100 miles of its location. It will feel like a different place entirely if you stay into the night! Highly recommend it!

Gorgeous park! Lots of palms, an amazing reservoir/ mini lake, and awesome walking paths with lots of birds to gawk at.

This is a large park with beautiful scenery. There is a variety of attractions for people of all ages. Lots of water and bridges. Fun for the whole family.

This park is beautiful. First time being here. I didnt even know it existed until now. Im so glad my love brought me here because I plan on coming back & riding the paddle boats & the kiddie train with her.Or else well be bringing the bikes over here to ride around.This reminds me of a park in San Antonio.We ate our Cheba Hut dinner on the park benches & picnic tables had a nice family day together.

Really pretty and peaceful park. Very relaxing. Nice water feature on the middle that attracts birds. Plenty of parking on a Saturday afternoon.

Wonderfully enchanting Park and the duck geese river is must see.Most especially when the waterfall fountains begin to flowRemind me of the magical parks developed in the ancient Italian Cities, when I was a child.And they also have a most magnificent miniature railroad system.For all children, young and old to enjoy.Highly recommended

This is a great family place. My 5 year old girl loves the feeding the ducks and watching people in the boats. We also love to have BIG family get together here at least once a month (before COVID).

Kids had fun at playground, park also has a train and mini park with rides for kids. Took good walk and tour seen paddle boats as well

First visit back since childhood. What a change from growing up with family picnics in the 1970s. Didnt recognize anything except for one of the original stone bridges and the pathway lamp posts are still there. Remember the ampitheater & spaceship playground? Good to see families still gathering together at Encanto park.

Generally speaking this park is clean, well-maintained and safe for daytime leisure. The duck population is a and their sports fields are good for even very large groups.As with any metropolitan Park, the homeless population is only exceeded by the pigeon population. Occasionally the flood irrigation can cause a small too. I would not recommend going at night without a firearm.

My Daughters and I had a great day throwing water ballons at Encanto Park. Plus, We fed the ducks

Hadnt been here since I was a kid so it was nice to be back. Only stayed for a short time to have some lunch but it was nice to visit and get outside for a change. I would like to visit again soon!

This was a very nice park with a wonderful lake which had a lot of ducks in it. You can also fish here. Very beautiful scenery :)

Is there anywhere else in the world like Phoenix? I mean 10 minutes from wall to wall buildings and people you have Encanto Park and open land as far as the eye can see. The hiking trails are all very well maintained, the park staff and volunteers keep the place looking pristine, and the smiling faces of visitors 7 days a week is proof that this place is magical!

Very pretty little walk around the lake. Best time to come around 7 to 8am when its nice and cool outside. My dog loved seeing all the ducks and geese.

Epic park, not gonna lie. Added four stars because one of the ducks winked at me. I just want to dive into the pond and choke every one of the ducks except the one that winked at me cause yes.

The water is blue. Like food coloring, Dr. Seuss on meth blue. Beautiful park.

Great place for the family. Just get out of there after dark. A lot of homeless start to come out.

Nice park... although I have small dogs, all leashed and a couple had their way bigger dogs (unleashed) and I dont know if Ill be back with mine..

Great views but once you get there the lake is pretty too look at from a distance but the animal droppings do drive many away from getting close overall great to explore and the part closest to the golf course is more of a scenery spot while there is a road dividing the activity area such as the playground pool field and courts

Beautiful park in the heart of Phoenix with waterfalls, playgrounds, picnic areas, and a sports complex. If youre looking for some fresh air, make your way to Encanto Park! Oh, and there is also a small amusement park for the kiddos! The park covers a large area, so I recommend downloading the app, Avem. Itll help you find all Encanto Park amenities.

Ive been to Phoenix many times and have never went to this park before now. They have beautiful water Features an absolutely gorgeous scenery.

One of the nicer parks around. A few unfortunate souls sometimes, but they keep to themselves. Great for long walks.

Great park, I go there frequently with my dogs. Very clean and well-maintained.I just wish they would enforce leash laws a bit more because quite a few dog owners let their dogs run loose.

I absolutely love this park. The water itself...its clean for the most part and I think the community does a great job of cleaning up after their pets. I do for sure. I feel safe even though there are people who could make you feel uncomfortable. However i drive 6 miles just to get there and i have a park 2 minutrs from my house.. but I go their for the experience and to walk my dog. Its peaceful...and its my favorite. And as I said I feel safe

This has been great to go for a walk, relax and read outdoors with almost nobody around, so keeping social distancing is not hard. Enjoyable to see the hummingbirds, swan, geese and ducks passing by.

My kids had so much fun today. This is definitely geared towards the younger set. My oldest was too big for a lot of the rides, but he still had fun on the options available to him. The rock wall was probably out of the little guys wheel house. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This park is really active in the evenings- lots of folks playing basketball, tennis, and pickleball. Nice facilities, except for the icky bathrooms. Very friendly people here.

Very clean but I was turned off by a few homeless people in the area. This is one of the nicer parks in Maricopa County.

I went to have breakfast at one of the picnic tables and the park was generally very nice. I was sad that there was a lot of litter. I picked up a bunch by my table.

Nice historical park overall with a mini amusement park and train ride for the kiddos, lakes, and is fairly well kept. Not in the best part of town is its only downside.

Just a nice place to enjoy the scenery, fishing, and plenty of trees for shade. And they keep it well maintained.

Park is nice and green, restrooms are locked due to COVID. There is a ton of waterfowl everywhere so watch where you step. The enchanted village is closed as are many of the walking paths.

Very large and spacious park! Plenty of wildlife around, good playgrounds for kids small and tall. Plenty of space for large groups of people, also a miniature kiddo amusement park which is pretty rad and inexpensive.

Beautifully kept up park with a little bit for the whole family. The rides are focused on young children, but the park grounds and waterways are great. Fishing is even allowed given a valid fishing permit. Water for both humans and pets available.

This park is a big part, of this city, that I have loved, from the moment I visited it, in the late 80s... That is when I moved to Phoenix to attend college... I am from Reno, Nevadas, and parks there are very similar to Encanto Park... If your lucky enough to be invited or just plain an outing for yourself dont hesitate your decision to visit you will not be disappointed... bring proper duck and goose food to feed them at the little lake that is in the park theres also an enchanted island for entertainment, vendors that offer food and drinks,childrens rides, a train that takes you around the park,Patel boats to rent, golfing, grills and picnic tables, tennis courts, hand ball, swimming pool, basketball courts, bicycle rentals, I have probably forgotten something to tell about the park... go and enjoy yourself..

Very nice and cool in morning since they have a tent above play area. Bathrooms are clean. There is a water fountain for an adult, a child and a dog. A lot of free fun stuff is done here at this park. Like today and tomorrow the FREE Easter Egg Hunt!

A wonderful location for young families, with children to explore. We happen to pick the best day of the year: completely overcast, very cool temps, very easy parking (our vehicle was the only one, awesome), very few families / people were present (perfect), many photos were taken with no one in the background or photo bombing us. I took photos with my cell phone and they came out perfect, especially with lots of overcast. We were there for 2019 Thanksgiving Day. So pretty the park was with so very few people. Lots of ponds, birds trees, even pomegranates bushes too, sure enjoyed eating those as well, that was a treat. Fed the Pigeons some of the pomegranates, they loved it. Our three grandkids were really amazed at such a pretty place, but we picked one of the best times to go though.

Very well kept park. Bridges and water features add to its character. I have not been to all of the kids playgrounds, but the one next to the basketball court and baseball fields was very cute with baby turtles and frogs to climb on. The rose garden is very beautiful. Nice place to visit on a nice day.
