Hiked here during the night in the summer and it was the perfect hike. short and right to the point with plenty of trails that shot off in other directions to make the hike a little longer if you wanted. i found it more enjoyable at night just due to having limited sight distance, having to really walk up onto everything i’m sure made these ruins feel larger than they are

This park holds so many wonderful memories for my family. Nothing but good people and great times here.

Desert foothills Park in Chandler is a fantastic park. It has everything you would want in a park he really has basketball courts Dennis chords baseball fields a bathroom volleyball courts plenty of parking beautiful views. There are a lot of concerts that take place in this park. Theres a lot of park benches and tables to have a great party. There is a giant Ramada right by the volleyball courts. The great place to have a picnic or watch a concert or place of sports and get out of the hustle and bustle of the city and relax. It is located in the safest neighborhood ever. Theres a really great playground for the kids and I love it when City Parks have a bathroom.

Plenty of parking, and a great place to get some exercise. The basketball rims and playground are closed because of Covid-19, but I still go to run up the hill and do sprints.

Very nice park and very well maintained. During the afternoon, the park is very quiet but with several sports fields evening could be hectic.

When the YMCA closed my trainer and I began working out in the park and it is just an awesome place to do it.

This is nice park with sports courts for basketball. Sand court for volleyball, tennis and baseball. Also a children play area. Has restrooms and some picnic tables.

Never seen it over crowded as of yet. Lots of space for various activities with your children, or dog.

Nice, clean park

We walk our dogs around this park. It has nice dirt trails to follow. I like seeing the children having fun on the play equipment and the teenagers enjoying the volleyball and basketball courts.Its kept clean, good atmosphere.

Such a beautiful view, and so open! Seems more than kid safe to me. It’s a park where you expect to find your typical happy cookie cutter family having a picnic . I really enjoy the place. :))

Fantastic park with tons of room for the kids to run around and play.

I took my son to practice some football techniques and noticed there is not 1 blade of grass. All lumpy weeds. The kind you can twist an ankle on. Very poor land condition. Very sad. great setting and location. City of Phoenix can do better.

Desert Foothills Park has a beautiful nature and is used and enjoyed by adults and children. The park was opened in 1992 and it has continued to be the center for many activities such as sports and live musical performances. The place opens at 5:30 am and closes at 11 pm.A beautiful park to walk around and enjoy the nature.

This is a great place for a little slow. The Crosstown Players were fantastic. After the sun went down, the temp was perfect.

This park is a wonderful break in life. Please visit this park and take a moment to ease your stress and relax with some exercise or life contemplation, talk with friends or wander aimlessly for 15 minutes until its time to return to your daily life routine.

Very nice multipurpose park. Lots of people walking their dogs and kids playing. Theres some short hiking trails and small hills for us rounder people :)

The outer path that encircles the park needs to be demarcated in a clearer way than provided. We were confused as to which path to take. Otherwise, its a lovely park.

Nice little neighborhood park

The park is a place to let yourself be free! The view is glorious, it is nice and big! Its the place if you are a athlete, a parent, playground lover, or somebody who wants a great view! Ive seen kids with toy rockets that do the job! Kids with footballs, and other things! Its beautiful in all its works! The playground has shade! There are some beautiful plants, and just a wonderful landscape! Gazillion out of 5!

The park is very clean and well kept my only complaint is that the parkinglot is very small.

Festival that is held here is very fun with lots of good vendors!

Nice local park! Love the different community events that happen here. An integral part of living in the Foothills and Club West.

We have friends who live in the area, and they got us turned onto Concern in the Park that happens four Sundays in a row twice a year (Fall and Spring). Its great to be able to go to a public event that feels very small town. Without that feeling you have to watch your kids and make them sit with you because someones going to get them. Everyone there is so nice, and looking out for one another. Kids can play in the park. Our little group (which is typically 10+ people) literally get there a few hours ahead of time to setup and just relax. Its what to do those 4 Sundays in a row! I think this is our 3rd year of doing it now, but feels like an event weve been doing for a lot longer!Good music, different bands play each time. And recently they have even added a couple of food trucks to the event. So for those who dont bring food, or if you need a drink or something, there is a little restaurant on wheels there to help out!Cant say enough good things about it! Never any fights, never any arguing, I have never felt any bad vibes for as long as weve been going! Its a great way to disconnect and relax!!!!!

Nice park and went to Chandler festival of lights yesterday. It was fun. Band was there and lot of vendors.

We try to attend spring and summer concerts and often as possible. Great family fun! Bring kids, friends, pets, picnic basket and a blanket!

Really clean and nice playground and park. Has multiple baseball fields, softball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, and volleyball courts. There is also a ramada covered area near the playground and volleyball court.

Had fun with the kids at the Festival of lights.

Nicely varied Terrain you have green belts sand volleyball playgrounds play equipment facilities drinking fountains picnic tables the lowest point of the park is rainwater overflow and that is just Sonoran Desert which is great for flying the Drone at low altitude following the paths through trees.
