I like this venue for different occasions that Ive attended such as a concert that the orchestra held or the Arizona Ballet. Beautiful place and the acoustics are great. The only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 is because after purchasing a beverage or bite to eat you can not bring it into the main hall and their bathrooms are few are far between. The ladies line takes as long as the intermission to get through sometimes. Heaven forbid you have a disability or need to get there in a hurry. If you buy a soda, it comes from a can into a cup and you wont get the whole cans worth and they will charge you five bucks. Not worth the flat, warm soda I got. Yuck. Plus its Pepsi....Other than that, its fantastic. The volunteers are always amazing as well.

I enjoyed my first trip to the symphony! Its a beautiful hall, and the performance I saw was wonderful. However, it was rather warm inside the hall, and I was sweating while sitting in my seat. I am usually cold most places I go. My friend and I spent the entire intermission in line for drinks and barely made it back to our seats in time. There should be more people helping at the bar stations. Having the same person both make drinks and handle money is a bit ridiculous and slow.I will give it another try based on the quality of the performance.

Went and saw the nutcracker there last week and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I rarely go to plays or ballets but this venue was very exquisite with the chandeliers in the lobby and the overall layout of the place. There are ushers that can direct you around as well as some refreshments and wine, depending on the event I guess. My biggest surprise was the seating in the hall itself. The seats are fairly comfortable and wider than most places. (Coming from a BIG and TALL fellow). Theres not much more to say this place is nice and pleasant with parking garages not too far away.Which brings me to my only con.- No free parking (but youre in Phoenix so no duh)Overall I am actually excited to book tickets to video game symphony and come back to this place.

The symphony orchestra is AMAZING the MC or director is AMAZING hes really good at everything he does there and is funny as well. I would recommend EVERYONE go see a show there and bring the kids. The only suggestion I have is another drink station the lines are a little long during intermission. AMAZING experience every time hands down the best show in town. Ive become a frequent guest at the symphony and its truly a wonderful place. I always leave motivated to do more and inspired by the energy reverberating in the venue. I occasionally sneak a book in depending on my work load but always get distracted by Tito Munoz as he weaves the orchestra into a cacophony of exuberance. Looking forward to the next opportunity to hear the classics. Art is always a guaranty of sanity.

This was my 3rd visit to Symphony Hall and it was awesome! My boyfriend and I went to see the live performance/screening of the movie Home Alone. It was so cool how the music of the orchestra was perfectly synched with the screening of the film! Little did I realize that a whole choir was awaiting their queue behind the screen as well! This was my boyfriends first time at the Symphony and he was mostly impressed with the fact that the original composer directed this performance. Theres really no such thing as a bad performance at Symphony Hall, but this one stands as my favorite thus far. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and I look forward to attending more performances in the future. :)

Saw the Nutcracker last night. Online it said that there would be food and drinks available in the lobby. There were sugar cookies, booze, and coffee. The lobby was too busy. Symphony Hall is a beautiful concert venue. All of the Phoenix Symphony ticketing staff, ushers, and food cashiers I have come into contact with here have been pleasant. The hall isn’t freezing cold like some venues or movie theatres are. Note that there is not free WiFi available, but I don’t think that’s much of a problem since you really just watch the performance and leave. Just don’t plan on coming super early and getting internet-based work done inside. The food available for purchase inside is limited to “gourmet” chocolate chip cookies, bottled water, coffee, beer, drinks, and wine, so it’s a nice resource but don’t plan on eating dinner while watching the symphony!

The Ballet Arizona performance was excellent however I hope the venue will consider some improvements. We went to the Sunday, December 15, 2019 performance. The usher at the portal was very rude and condescending. As we went to intermission another usher said very rudely that intermission was 20 minutes. I appreciate the communication however they need additional ladies facilities and refreshment stations. I believe there four alcoholic stations one one which served non-alcoholic drinks. One of our party left before intermission to get in line for refreshments. We immediately got into the ladies room line. The entire time we were worried about being late which definitely takes from the enjoyment. This was a family event - please plan more appropriately

The performance we saw is not under review here, so I will note just the venue. They were not equipped to deal with crowds with very few staff assisting people to seats, it became very congested. One patron got into a screaming match with another, yelling profanities at what should have been a high class evening performance, yet no repercussions happened and the offensive woman was allowed to return despite behavior that would have has her removed from a wrestling match. Another patron fainted, falling to the ground and there were no staff in sight for what seemed like an eternity to handle the situation. Thank goodness for the performance itself being exquisite as to overshadow the poorly managed and tended-to clients.
