Went to a concert here. We won the tickets on the radio, so we couldnt choose our seats. I have an 80lbs service dog who could fit at my feet, no big deal. Instead, the staff upgraded us to the ADA seats where she could lay comfortably. The staff was super knowledgeable on the laws about service animals and were super respectful. Very, very happy with my experience here.
I have always enjoyed shows here, but last week had suite seats for the 1st time. My husband & I had no idea what that meant, so when we got there & had to take a special elevator up to the suites we were excited. It was so awesome!!!! Having a suite to ourselves with a fridge, food & beverage service, great sound & view. It was an amazing date night!
Nice venue. Usually I give 4 stars if I had fun... and we did enjoy the show.Staff are professional and pleasant. The restrooms are clean and convenient. However, parking, while readily available was priced as outrageous as the concessions. The concourse seating was arguably lower quality than the nosebleed sections... and those seats probably had a better view of the TV screens. All in all, it was a nice time, but I do not think this place is worth the money.
This is a fantastic theater. My wife and I have been here many times for concerts and have enjoyed each of them. Plenty of parking close by and lots of options for food and drinks.
My son and I went to see Brian Regan as a Christmas gift from my family. It was awesome! Ive loved Brians comedy since I discovered him back in 1991. My son is now 21 and he grew up listening to him, so it was a real treat to see him. They set up parking in a parking structure nearby, which was very convenient. Plus on the parking ticket it said Brian Regan on it, which was awesome because I do travel and art journaling so I like having the tickets from events we attend, but the actual tickets we got were digital only. So it was great to have the parking ticket. We paid $15 for parking. They let us know in advance, when we bought the tickets online, that we would have that cost which was a nice heads up. There were no problems. The area is well lit and easy to find. Parking was clear as to where it was. The theater was large, clean and easy to navigate.
Drove to Phoenix to Comerica Theatre to take my daughters to a Why dont We concert. Theater is very nice, security is on point, the seats are comfortable, the checking of the tickets was fast and easy if you download the tickets. Overall great experience.
Have seen a couple shows here. Even sitting on the far seats next to the wall still offered a decent view of the stage. Center is better though!
Great place for a rock show! They have a newly redesigned and renovated place and its great. You can really get up close to the bands
It was amazing this was my second time here and the sound was impeccable. I love the lights this time at the NF concert theyre literally blinding!
Lindsey Stirling put on an amazing holiday themed show tonight. Many wardrobe changes, excellent stage lighting and visuals as well as funny moments. Great dancers added to the show as well.
Awesome venue! Went to a machine gun Kelly a few weeks ago, seats were easy to find, parking was a breeze as was security.
I went to Arizona Federal Theatre for a Stray Kids Concert and it was an amazing experience!! The seating was great. The speaker quality was amazing. It was an amazing time.
Great venue. This was my first time there and I loved the setup and the way the sound bounced off the walls made for an incredible concert experience. I will definitely be coming back here!!
Nice theatre venue with 2 convenient parking garages across the street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We saw Harry Connick Jr and sat center stage, row 7 which were temporary folding chairs which weren’t the most comfortable but it was only for an hour and a half. Didn’t use the restrooms so I can’t comment on that.
Excellent place to catch your favorite show! More + cozy and intimate the closer you sit to the front, but great venue no matter your location. Hoziers voice would fill this venue without electric speakers.. So was a killer show and Rocked the House
Great theatre! Ive had the chance to see a Dave Chappelle and Jon Mulaney perform here. The visibility is great. I dont think theres a bad seat. No columns or other obstructions. The sound system is great also. Which helps with the overall experience of each show. I dont live in AZ, but will undoubtedly travel if someone I want to see is performing here. Its easy to get to and there are great food options all around
Attended Shinedown this Saturday and it was amazing!!! Love the sound at this theater! Nothing better than a badass rock concert where you can just feel it thumping! However, 6.00 for a bottle of water?? Cmon Comerica! That is insane! I shouldnt pay the same price for water as I did to park my car! I also hate that there is nowhere to put your cups at your seat too. Nothing worse than a spilled glass of 6.00 water because we arent allowed to have the bottles with a lid that my water came in. Otherwise, one of my fav venues for concerts.
Parking available on Southeast corner across from theatre is handy.
A great theater for concerts and comedy showsI have seen several artists here and each time the show and venue was great. Parking can be a pain, so leave early to plan for that.Seating is tiered but all levels have good views of the stage. In the small theater, music acts can get very loud, but isnt that why we pay to be here?
Took my Mom to see Derek Hough Live. The venue is nice and I love the fact the parking garage is right behind the venue. My Mom cant walk long distances so this makes it much easier on her. Bathrooms were clean but I wish they had an in door and an out door. Was hard to exit the restroom while everyone else was trying to come in. Other than that the show was fantastic and we had a great time! Seats are decently comfortable but if you are in the middle it is hard to get in if people are already seated. We book aisle seats for this reason! Only took us about 30 minutes to exit the parking garage as well. Much less hassle than Talking Stick Arena. I love the smaller venue feel anyway. Sound quality is also pretty darn good!
Dustin Lynch and Cole Swindell first time at Comerica and it was a nice show. Will return for another concert there
What a fantastic venue! The seating arrangement is very well designed for EVERYONE to have an amazing experience. The sound system is great and with plenty of bars, we just sat a d enjoyed the show
Just went to see Cheap Trick and ZZ Top. The event was incredible. The venue was amazing. Plenty of space to move around and get what you need. Would not hesitate to to go back to the Comerica Theatre again.
This is a great venue to attend for live concerts and shows. They have a good system in place from the time you arrive. Lines are reasonable and every seat in the house provides an excellent experience for entertainment enthusiasts.
We took our children to the Paw Patrol Pirate Adventure and they had alot of fun. The food and drinks are pretty expensive. $6 for a bottle of Soda and $9 for a plain hot dog. The venue is spacious and clean.
We saw Brian Regan on New Years Eve. Comerica is a good venue. There doesnt seem to be a bad seat in the house, from what I saw. Speakers, lighting and acoustics offer an enjoyable experience. It was very easy to get in and out of the theater. Lots of options near by for food and drink. Inside the theater, we were able to quickly get drinks at the concession stand. We will definitely be back here to see another event. I would highly recommend. And as far as Brian Regan goes, he was one of the best comedians we have ever seen. No politics, sec or cursing. It was nice to see a comedian that can command a stage with true humor.
Always great sound at this venue! I have seen many bands here and every time, it sounds great! The staff is always super helpful, and make it an enjoyable experience! Great job!
Recently went to PAW Patrol Live! at Comerica Theatre and highly recommend this venue! The staff we interacted with were all friendly and helpful, easily approachable and all smiles even through the crowds and kids and controlled chaos. The venue was easy to get into, everything was clean and although the outer sections were blocked off there were plenty of seats for watching the show. The stage was large enough for an awesome show while being small enough not to overwhelm the audience. There were also plenty of snacks and drinks available at the concession stands, both before the show and at intermission which was awesome. (Better prices than the movie theaters, fyi!)Definitely recommend buying parking passes ahead of time for events, the garage is situated just across the street and makes things easier, just be prepared for a longer exiting time period.
Very nice i sat second floor they have only bars up there best part elevators. The bad part no leg room in the seating areas. So make sure you GO before the show starts because if you have to GO during the show then your that guy. Everyone will be giving you the look :/ Other then that very clean restrooms! Enjoy
Was a good show! Easy to get in and out of the venue, traffic wasnt horrible. Great experience.
Saw Shinedown, Badflower, Dinosaur Pileup, and Broken Hands 7/20/19 from Suite 13. What a great place and a awesome show! Drinks are Very expensive, but I kinda expect it I guess. Love this venue, especially Phoenix in the summer, climate controlled indoor.
Been here a handful of times. Not really a bad seat. I have ever been to the pit. But if you catch wrestling here they offer stage seating. Get those tickets. Hell yeah good time !!
This is a really great venue. We came in from CA for The 1975 and it was so worth it!
Good sound. Event was comedy show. Sat club level & amenities were close. They could use cup holders by the seats. Eat & drink before you go. 2 beers & a bottled water was 34 dollars American.
This is a great venue! Been here for conferences as well as concerts. I have always been pleased by the acoustics and the visual abilities of Comerica.
Great acoustics!!! Great place to hear live music!!! Go every year to see the greatest Pink Floyd tribute band in the world ... Brit Floyd. Eight years running. It must be an awesome experience in this theater!!!
I saw Sara Bareilles here and loved this venue and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Biggest hint.... prepay for parking with Comerica it was 12$ and worth it! I bought mine when I bought my concert tickets through Ticketmaster.
Went to my first concert there finally and saw 3 Doors Down and Collective Soul. Excellent show with great sound and judging by the layout of the theatre seating, not really a bad seat in the house. For this event I was in section 4, row 26, seat 7 - straight away center stage! It turned out to be a great seat. The Parking Garage was worth the extra $10 and right across the street at the venue, as finding decent parking in the downtown area can be a trick.
Great seats & a great show! Rob Thomas is amazing in concert!
I saw NCT 127 on 05/03/19. Comerica Theater did not have proper lines set up inside and everything was super congested. Security just kept telling us to squish together which didnt do anything to help with line and crowd control. The theater also gets pretty warm. Proper air circulation seems to be lacking. However the viewing is great. You can properly see the stage from any seat.
The show was well done, but the event staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. We got in and out of the event very easily. Thank you Comerica!
Went to see Joe Rogan. It was the 10pm showing. The theater was great. This guy and his preludes...not so much. The improv has better comedians.
Great place for a concert. Harry Connick, Jr was amazing!
I really like the venue. The actual stage and acoustics of the theater are fantastic. Theres not really a bad seat in the house. Doesnt smell weird, seems clean, nice bathrooms, good air conditioning. Seriously one of my favorite music venues now. However, the food sucks. Its literally just popcorn, hot dogs, nachos, Etc... crazy in todays environment to have concessions so miserably basic. The alcohol is okay, but kind of the same story.
Went to a graduation ceremony here.. the security was insane but there were alot of peoe to manage
It was unique (balcony seating was not enjoyable unless you sit in the center or front row). Enjoyed Hillsong, but would decline the venue in the future unless the prices go way down. Cigarette smoke from outside kept coming in through ventilation system.
Great venue, great seating arena, very clean, friendly staff, plenty of concession stands on every floor. Saw ZZ Top and Cheap Trick....great show by both bands.
Saw 2 cellos here. The venue was nice, but the acoustics could have been better. Decent view, nice seating.
Great venue for a show but the parking is a bit tricky and it’s a free for all once the show is over and everyone heads home! Bring some extra patience!
The theatre was very nice but beware the drinks. The beer in grabbed had its year rubbed off and tasted super old. Not sure if this is vendor related or Comerica handled but this kind of penny pinching is unacceptable for the price and health of patrons... Otherwise it would have been 5/5
The venue itself is amazing. What makes or breaks it for you is whos performing. Concessions are a bit on the expensive side, but nonetheless not bad. Tonight was Derek Hough. Words cant describe how good he was!
I liked the artist that performed but the security was too much. Pushing us during Hi-touch. Even the artists were worried about is when they saw the security guards pushing. Great show but security needs to be more nicer and patient
The Lindsay Stirling show was great. I just wish they marked the seats a little better. Some rows had no numbers. Great sound, nice lights and effects, etc. I think kids would have even enjoyed the show too and not just adults.
Not too big, not too small a venue! The staff are always very helpful and seem to enjoy working there. (Honestly who wouldnt?)
Seen Coheed and Cambria here twice now as well as the tenderloins. Great venue with high quality audio system so it sounded awesome. The only thing Id complain about are the actual seats, not super comfortable or suited for tall big dude but most arent me so for you they should be decent enough.... Besides no one really sits once the show starts.
Nice place. Very modern and confortable theater. Will definitely go again. We went for the Alejandro Sanz concert. It was cool.
Definitely a great place for concerts! I went here a couple of years ago to see my first concert and it was great. The view of the stages great even from the top back seating area.I am visually impaired and this place is very accessible and easy-to-navigate.I will be returning here for concerts in the future as well. Definitely easier to get in and out of then bigger locations like State Farm Stadium.
Great small theater with good seats. Lobby was big and decorated well for the holidays. Sound in the theater was great! Concession prices are high! $6 for a bottle of water. Yikes! The bathrooms need an entrance and exit though.
AZ Speakers Series rocks! Best current event topics & speakers for those of us who want to receive information and commentary from the Principles who have been in the room where it happens.Best place to park is SE Corner of 4th Ave & Washington.
Always a great concert experience. The big screens on either side of the stage are, well, big, bright and detailed. Seats are comfortable. The temperature inside the theatre is just about right in all seats except for the 3rd floor -- I usually find those seats hot (heat rises? Also, there are spot lights operating up there). Also, the staff were all helpful and polite.Be aware, if you buy a beverage, there are no cup holders at the seats. You will have to hold your drink the entire time or attempt to hide it under your seat without forgetting it is there and knocking it over. The 5 or 6 concerts Ive attended here had Phoenix PD managing traffic directly outside the theatre -- this made the walk to/from the parking lot much safer and quicker.
I love this venue for small concerts. Amazing acoustics, and all great seats!
I went there to see Sean (AKA Jacksepticeye) How Did We Get Here tour and it was amazing, they had food, merch, good seats, a lot of screens above the stage and big ones too. It is a big place and looked amazing.
The parking garage is difficult to find on the map but the venue was nice and we enjoyed the concert.
The place was fantastic. Ive seen a lot of shows in my life, but having a venue this large and well put together is rare. The food was fairly generic, and the prices were sort of crazy ($6 for water), but overall, it was really nice. That and the really large amount of parking in the building just next door is really handy.Id easily come back after eating a meal beforehand.
First time at Comerica seeing Jonathan Van Ness and loved it! I normally feel claustrophobic in big venues but this one was very manageable!
A small venue atmosphere with large venue features. 3 jumbo screens. Box seats. A mezzanine that is close enough to be personal. Easy access and good parking.
We had great seats. We went to see The Temptations and The Four Tops. The lighting was fantastic. The Acoustics are okay. We had a great time and so did the audience. Definitely will go there again
Awesome venue. Great sound.(i know its not the right photo of this venue. I uploaded a pic of the Forum in Cali, but I cannot figure out how to change the pic now)
This was a great place but there was a lot of people smoking that security didnt stop
Great venue for concerts, or any show. Not really a bad seat in the house.
This is one of the best venues in the city for concerts. The acoustics are amazing due to the shape of the auditorium. No matter what your seat was you always got a clear view from of the stage. And short people do not need to worry because it seems that all the seats give a clear view over the person in front of you. I am only giving it four stars because I didn’t really dig the food. I order the pretzel with cheese and it came out small and a little burnt. Considering the price on everything I was expecting more. However that little negative doesn’t really take away from an overall awesome place to go for a show.
This place was great to go see a concert. If you like smaller crowds this is the place. I sat right in front of the mixing board and could see the band with no problem. Security was quick to get through. If you want to get something to drink or eat there are plenty of windows open with hardly any waiting.
Good venue. We were right up front for Avett Brothers and while it was great to see them so close, the sound was lacking.
The seats here are great in the balcony front row. The temperature is good for sick a crowded small arena. They have concessions all over. The sound for the concert was pretty good. Easy to get too with ride share.
Great theater, with some very poor seats. Unfortunately thats where we sat during the last comedy show. It seems that they try to make a few extra bucks by putting folding chairs behind a hand railing in the walkway... ???.... We have had closer srats before that were very enjoyable. Unlike most theaters there are plenty of concessions.
Comerica is one of my top favorite venues. It has seats and offers premium balcony box seating. Show sound and quality is always amazing. They are very strict about bag policy and some shows you are not allowed to have bottled drinks for safety. I would read about policies before attending or ask about bottles. When bottles arent allowed, they pour drinks into a plastic cups but the seats dont have cup holders. I have been to this venue many times and plan to be back many more!
We thoroughly enjoyed watching Brit Floyd!!! Great venue for an amazing concert!
After watching a concert here last week, I will definitely be back. Lots of parking close by. Easy to get in and out of the venue. Every seat is a good seat. Not too big, but not too small. Amazing all around experience. Food and drinks were expensive, but not more than other venues. If you are catching dinner before, a short walk to many options or catch one of the bicycle taxis to expand your options.
Awesome venue. We saw Sarah Mac there... Smaller theatre, so good viewing points for everyone. Sound was amazing.
Comerica was a wonderful and personal venue. We sat in section 201 on the club level to watch Moscows Russian Nutcracker Ballet. We had a great view. The venue was very clean and they had plenty of food and drinks stands available. There wasnt hardly a wait, even the bathrooms barely had a line. There were lots of parking options nearby for reasonable prices. The only down side is how cozy the chairs were. Larger guests have a hard time fitting in the chairs. Luckily we were able to switch seats with a nice group of people who were sat in take-away folding chairs, or my friend would not have gotten to enjoy the show as much as she would have liked.
Great place to see a concert if you havent been there you must go
Great venue, very intimate and every seat has a great view! The overall experience was beyond expectation and the audio mix was flawless. One of the best live music venues I have been in!
Saw Derek Hough here, good sized venue, every seat has a good view.
I saw Joe Rogan, and he made me laugh, despite the ridiculously small seat I was stuffed into. The 5 stars are for Joe, I give the venue 3 stars, although they have everything else you would expect, but comfort, and I think that should be addressed.Overall I had a great time hanging out with one of my Sons.
I went to see the live podcast My Favorite Murder. I was impressed with Comerica. It was my first time here at this theater. They were VERY organized! No crowding or pushing was going on at all. Huge lines for the concessions, but they did seem to have every line open which was nice to see. I stepped out early to get some merch and was so very thankful to be able to hear the show out in the lobby while purchasing my t-shirt.
Easy parking and a short walk to the venue. The wait in line seemed a little long to me, but everyone associated with security were kicking ass to keep the line moving along. They really did a good job! Papa Roach were awesome.
Comerica Theatre is always a good time. really no bad seat in the house. fortunate enough through my job to have opportunities to sit in different sections through out the venue, never been disappointed. Enjoy yourself!
Basically an average modern theater. No real style and marginally comfortable seats. Also, they sell only Pepsi products.
The venue itself is pretty nice. The acoustics sound amazing. Unfortunately, we had balcony seats and we were less then thrilled with the experience. There was only one way into our section so everyone was up and down all night. Its no fun to sit at a rock concert but there was really no way to stand without making someone behind you mad and blocking their view. Next time its definitely floor for me.
They have a pit in the front. For an extra $10.00 you can stand in front of the stage and get a better look. Great theater. Feels intimate.
Great downtown venue. Loads of amenities, including a a great outdoor smoking patio. The only reason it didnt get 5 stars is the seating. We were lucky enough to score 7th row and trust me...you will be thigh to thigh with your neighbors!
We all commented on how much we liked the design of this venue. Someone said hey I mean, this place is pretty cool. Staff was super nice too. GREAT bartenders
The seats are really close together but the views of the stage from every seat is great! Drinks are a bit overpriced, but not totally outrageous and in line with other similar facilities.
The venue itself is great, but the parking for a big event is a nightmare. They dont take card so you need cash and its 15 dollars. This wouldnt be a problem if we were notified beforehand but just rocking up with the hope of using a card for parking will turn it into a nightmare.Other than that the staff are nice and the venue is great and they have some great shows and events here. Would recommend highly
The staff there rocks! Everyone is so chill, happy to answer questions and laughs with/at you. Hahaha. Great experience at the concert we went to. Clean, intimate and still a large venue. Getting drinks was super easy and no long lines! They really staff well.
I love this place every seat is a good seat. I took off one star because if you get your tickets there. The workers take FOREVER to help you and its always only like 2 people at the window which takes even longer.
Once you get through security its a great venue!
