Hoooooooo boy, gather round and let me tell you a tale of a mystical land of wonder and enchantment that my friends enlightened me to whilst I was traveling to Phoenix for... reasons.A magical place, with flashing lights, games, and best of all... MINI GOLF!This wonderland is known to the mere mortals of this dying realm of Earth as Castles N Coasters. As soon as I saw that putter floating in the water that some poor sap would have to pull out, I knew this miniature golf course was going to be wondrous. The course was amazing and the staff friendly. This, in hindsight, made me feel a little bit bad about that putter floating in the pond. But only a little bit.Go on down and see it for yourself. Its beautiful. Its grand. Its Castles N Coasters.
Awesome fun. Got competitive with my girlfriend in a game of air hockey.... I lost. Good clean environment adequate supervision and security. Very reasonable price for the hours and hours of amusement and fun. Its located in a very centralized and easy to get to location. You can eat right there or you can always just step outside eat at a nearby restaurant come back and have some more fun.
Fantastic place to take your family.or the one you love to have some fun. Inside they have an amazing two story arcade with new games downstairs and classic upstairs. There are concessions stands everywhere. The mini golf course has 4 courses to choose from, each one with a different theme, and the coasters inside the park are a thrill to say the least. And all the staff are genuinely happy and care about their customers!
It was fun and not to crowded. The little one loved it. A little pricey but worth it if you ride all of the rides. They need to enforce masks for all though.
ALMOST NO ONE HAD MASK!! even the people preparing the food had no mask. They had a full blown conversation with our food under their mouths catching spit not to mention me and my boyfriend the next day both had terrible stomach aches. The rides 10/10 the employees attitudes 10/10 but Im not going back for the fear of bring covid back home to my family and friends. (If you are a guest please wear a mask not just for your safety but for others too because you never know if you have the virus you can be asymptomatic) :) love this place but was very uncomfortable due to the fear of my health being at risk
Had a great time with family. But regarding Covid-19 It is not taken seriously at this place. I believe I only saw one sign saying that mask are required and that was at the entrance. A good amount of people which I would say about 40% did not wear masks and that is including some employees and were not asked to wear it. Social distancing was not implemented. All of the rides were not sprayed down. Oh and not to mention, the food station the employees there were wearing their masks under their nose and one was hanging his mask on his ear while he was handling food. That really made us decide not to either. But if you ask me this is definitely the place to get covid.
Recently went here with a friend and I’ll say that it was pretty fun! It was a spur of the moment thing and we enjoyed it. Only thing I’d have to say is that none of the COVID guidelines are in place. Little to no one was wearing a mask (that includes the employees) and people refused to do six feet apart. They don’t clean after someone rides the ride either???? Although there weren’t many people, the least they could have done was had them follow the guidelines.
Ive Loved this Klassik amusement park since I was a little kid.Still fun as ever & the mini golf course is unchanged, Just as good as it ever was.Walking out to the back, smelling the water from the fountains in the golf course, Everything else is so nice & nostalgic especially for me.
This place is like a stationary carnival with an arcade. They have one really quick roller coaster, some mini golf and some really fun arcade games. However just like a carnival they are a little on the unsanitary and run down side which during covid isnt the best.
Rides are fun and good place to take the kids. Also, they provide mini-golf, though it will cost extra. There is an arcade to rest and play some games. Its a lot like other ones you will find with prizes you can get after playing games. Rides do have a height limit and requirement, some rides can be pretty fast and you also have classic rides like roller coasters, bumper cars and a drop tower. For the drop tower there are 2 versions each with different height, also there is a variation of bumper cars on the water! The controls are a little hard at first, but when you get the hang of its really fun!
This is a fun little park with good rides, fun games, and all at a fair price. My daughter spent her birthday here and had a great time. I only gave four stars because it was clean but could be better. Unfortunately I didnt see a cleaning crew going through more than once and we were there for several hours. I hope they improve on that soon.
Fun for the family. Lots of options of things to do. Kind of pricey & the golf courses have seen better days. The turf is ripped and patched in a lot of places. We had mixed experiences with the staff. A couple of them were amazing & so nice. Then we had one that just grunted & pointed when we asked a question. Very rude.
Very fun and amazing place, rides are great! Had a good time after going there recently after not going for years, and only thing I was let down on...which after years is still there, is the GUM in the splash down log ride tunnel. Walls are FILLED with it, so disgusting and an eye sore. Wish they would take a moment to clean that up..and long shot but maybe put up a sign to not put your gum there, its common sense I get kids probably dont know any better, but its not hard to properly dispose of it in the trash.
The rides and the outside staff operating the rides were great. We were pleased that the outside staff were all wearing masks. However, the arcade staff were mostly not wearing masks, and there was only 1 hand hygiene station. I expect better during a pandemic.
I did have a really fun time! Its been awhile since Ive been here and the rides were so fun like I remember but her is where I was upset. there is a pandameic going and I get some people dont like mask but seriously there was so many people with no mask on! I literally had to tell people please stay six feet away from me with no mask on and I was given attitude left and right and kept getting dirty looks! Its not hard to fallow rules guys! Staff needs to inforce this better! Even some staff member working in kitchens were not wearing mask at all or gloves so I was very sketched and didnt eat from there. Also kinda sad to see police officers also walking around with no mask like every thing is normal! Please please please guys inforce the mask or make sure ppl who dont wanna comply social distance! If I had fun the whole night with my mask on so can many others!
Covid review: more than half of guests arent wearing masks, there is absolutely no cleaning of anything going on at all. No rides being cleaned between, no social distancing in queues. There are signs and announcements talking about it, nobody does it. Its particularly gross in the arcade. The employees in there are particularly bad, too. Waited 30 minutes for a game to be fixed, waited another 20+ for an employee to combine our cards and refund us for the broken game, only to have Sam a. Literally tell us: youre asking too much of me. Seriously you cant make this stuff up. We just wanted cards with low balances combined and a refund on a broken game. They even called their cop/security to come stand by a Mom with 6 kids because we seemed so crazy for asking this. We wouldnt recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
Well worth the money. We drive 4.5 hrs just to come to this place and we arent disappointed. Granted we went on a Friday from 3-7 but it wasnt busy at all. Didnt even wait to ride rides!! Arcade was pretty expensive though.
So much fun! Great place to take the family and spend all day. We were there from 1- close(which is 11pm). Same day, you are allowed to leave the park and come back. Keep your wrist band on! My husband said this year was the best fathers day he has had. And it was spent at Castles and Coasters yesterday! Do buy their unlimited refill cup! If your anything like my family we dont mind sharing a drink. So my family of 4 had unlimited iced fountain pop and water all day! A must, its worth the $13.My only negative concern with Castles and Coasters is their lack of handicapped accessibility. This was brought to my attention because we were there with our infant in a stroller. I asked the police man standing guard in the 2 story arcade if there was an elevator, he said no. His excuse was that the building was built in the 70s.
Miniature Golf course is in need of some attention. Several areas were torn up or needing repair. Used to be such a great place!
Love this place. Iconic for me. Been going since I was 7 and Im 46. Havent lived there for 31 years but have to go whenever I head to AZ. Love the old arcade games.
Great place golf, ride and video games. Ive been got there since I was 13, which is the age my son is now. He enjoys Castles N Coasters as much as I still do.
Lots of fun going to Castles N’ Coasters! The most fun probably, was the sky obstacle course, only I don’t see any photos of that on my phone. I’ll have to see if anyone else has some so I can post them later. We had a really nice evening, even though it was at the end of a really long and eventful day. I would highly recommend anyone looking for fun, to visit this Castles N’ Coasters. There’s more to do than we had time for. I’m sure if you started I’m the morning and stayed until late, you could pretty much get everything into one day. Come see for yourself!
The arcade there is the best thing about this place. I also loved Desert Storm and Bumper Boats. If I were to take another vacation to Arizona, I will definitely go there. Rope course gave me the willies because I thought I would fall like I were on a tightrope.
Havent been here in 20 years. Im soon leaving the valley of the sun so had to check it out ine last time. Was super fun! They have a good mix of older and new games. Very glad I hit this joint one last time.
Being near Metro Center Mall I had a certain expectation about what Castles N Coasters would be like and I am happy to say I couldnt have been more wrong. This place is a wonderful gem.The staff were pleasant. The park was impeccably clean and even the smallest details on the decorations and buildings was painted and new looking. The mini golf courses are fabulous and fun. The arcade is clean and exciting. The rides are awesome. For the price, it makes a great night out with friends.
Really poor Mini Golf. I took my family to play Mini golf on what I remember to be a awesome mini golf course and was really bummed $65.00 wasted, almost every single hole had a really torn up green and most of the lights (we went at night) were broken and hanging from cords so it made it very hard to see. So sad
Maybe 1/3rd of people had masks on, and out of the most were wearing them improperly. This included every staff member I saw, including those preparing food. I made the mistake of going out in the pandemic, and thats on me, but Castles Ns Coasters is making the mistake of not enforcing hygiene practices during a pandemic
Its fun to go back but old games need maintenance and nobody explained to my friend before we bought play cards that the claw machines dont accept cash anymore. Im just kinda sad that old games are harder to play anymore.
We visited this park as a family and our three children ages 8, 7, and 5 all really enjoyed themselves. they were all tall enough to go on most of the rides which you can check on their website beforehand to make sure your children will have enough to entertain them. my five-year-old only liked the bumper cars and bumper boats and it was a little frustrating because the bumper boats close down early they said for an inspection the next day and they had calibrated the ride early and didnt want anyone to mess it up for the inspection. This was about two hours before closing and so we felt a bit cheated because it is pricey taking a family of five. The bathrooms also closed down early because they wanted to clean them before the park closed. I understand wanting to get home early but again we paid to be there and were limited on what we could use. Super inconvenient with children not to be able to use the bathroom. You are able to leave the park and come back the same day as long as you keep your wrist band on. This is nice if you dont want to eat there. If you have children our ages I would suggest skipping the miniature golf as it was a bit beyond our kids to finish the course.
An oldie but a goodie! This place never disappoints. Good fun for the entire family! Will be going back soon!
We always enjoy playing miniature golf there. The coarse is one of the best in the country Im sure. For what they charge there is no excuse for the condition some of the holes were in tonight. One was so bad we couldnt even play it once we got around the hole. They could at least patch it. My ball was getting stuck in the big patches pulled up.
One of my favorite places in the world. Been going to Castles and Coasters since I was a kid. Rides are awesome. Arcade is awesome. Mini golf is awesome.
It is amazing played mini golf with the family and everyone had an amazing time. Will say on hole 9 or 10 the ball gets stuck in one of the holes. Its the one with the little church like building that you have to make it in.
Took my daughter for the first time last week. We went specifically to play golf. I should have taken photos, but I can tell everyone that you should not waste your time here. The course was terrible. We payed $39 for 3 people. For that kind of money the courses should be pristine. Most of the green areas were torn up. Everything looks dilapidated. They had extention cords strung around for some of the lighting. (Probably not up to code) City should look into that. Horrible experience. Only gave one star because you cant leave a review with zero. The owners should be ashamed. And the general public needs to stop going to places like this when the owners are unwilling to maintain the property.
We tried to play miniature golf TWICE. Same thing both times, 2 different courses. We played at night and half the light bulbs were out. Luckily we had a couple of mini flashlights so we could find the holes and hit our ball. The balls get stuck in the tube between levels so ask for extra balls. With all the trouble we had it took an hour and a half to play 14 holes, then they closed and kicked us out. The only good thing was that we got a coupon to come again. I dont think Ill use it.
So much fun. They have a snack bar. Arcade games with tickets and prizes. 4 different mini golf courses. At least one roller-coaster and a mini go cart track. And because the pandemic i have to point out that social distancing there is pretty easy for the most part.
Nice mignature golf, roller coaster and arcade games place. We had a great time there with our kids.
A favorite for many years. Great place for families, friends and just to hang out
I had so much fun. My daughter is 3 this is her first time an she had a blast too. Thank you!
Great place. Its still fun to ride the rides and play golf and video games.
Its a great place to spend family time.Kids have a lot of fun. Staff was very friendly.
Took my 5-year-old and 7-year-old there for the first time they had a blast there wasnt much they couldnt ride on and there were plenty of arcade games that they found fun and interesting
Its a good place to go for some cheap fun. The mini golf is great and most the rides are cool. The 2 story arcade is always a big hit with the kids
Only did mini golf it was fun but the ball didnt come out of ever hole and it was not hole 18. Just asked for another one no big deal. Oh bring water since its 4 bucks for a small one in vending machine.
Been coming here for over 20 years. Great place, only problem is they have barely done anything to improve it in that time. New attractions but the old ones look 20 years older with minimal upkeep, while the prices have gone up greatly. Mini golf is an all time favorite, but not fun when the first time taking my son, some holes were closed.
No social distancing enforced in the lines so if youre not ok with that then you probably shouldnt go. Super fun! Social distancing IS enforced by staff on the actual rides, skipping one chair per people and sanitizing in between switching ppl. Overall very fun time.
A cool place with lots to do!! Felt the prices were a bit steep so we werent able to do as much. Alsl the mini golf course could use some updating, lots of torn courses and blown lights
Fun place to take the family. The lines were reasonable and the staff did a good job keeping the rides clean between uses.
The kids and I had a good time. Not a huge place but just enough for us to enjoy.
Did a round of put put was really awesome we we’re almost the only ones which I liked, saw they had tons of rides anything from zip lines to go carts to big inside games of every sort of your looking for entertainment solo or group this is a good place!!!
Stopped here to go on a blind date. No seriously this chick was blind she couldntt see anything. But somehow she beat the absolute snot out of me at air hockey. half of the machines dont work but i think that adds to the nostalgia. plenty of old school pinball machines upstairs and old sidescroller arcade games like punch out and tetris. downstairs has more modern games. cool spot to come and spend some money on arcade games
This place is even more fun now than when i was a kid! So much to do. The 3D zombie shooting game/ride is a great experience for $5 a person. The zipline was fun too! They have a giant claw machine too thats really good! Its expensive but good!
Super fun place to take the kids for a family day. A bunch of really fun games that are easy to win a.lot of tickets. Cool prizes to get with those.tickets. 3 different mini gold courses, that were actually quite enjoyable. The golf balls got stuck a couple times but they always ended up coming out. When the rides opened, the kids were super excited! The lines started getting long around 7pm(rides open at 6pm) but the wait wasnt very long . The rides were a lot of fun. Disnt get the chance to try out the obstacle course but it looked fun.
Prices have gone up, but it is always a fun activity for the family. We got a black Friday deal last year, so we only paid 1/2 price.
Been the #1 amusement park in Az. since I was a youngster. Now my kids get to enjoy it!
Only 2 out of 10 seats even Worked. Staff made No effort to Clean any equipment in between ppl using it. Ride Dont open until 6pm, And on top of all that, There was guy with a huge Knife hanging out his Pants in the Arcade. Definitely never going back.
Super fun but ride lines literally take 20-45 min idk why they don’t just make a fast pass
Its great and you will have fun with friends but do not have many attraction
Some of them please one happy to be at work. Went to the picnic party for Arizona materials Company Arizona materials
It was fun pricing isnt bad and its just a great atmosphere to be around I would come back again.
Food had hair in it! Not once once but twice after the worker said it wouldnt happened again. Not wearing hats or hairnets and not even tied up! If this continues im taking legal action!
Always have a good time when I go. Great for family &/or friends4
Castle n Coaster is a fun and entertaining place to go ride anything or golf or play in the arcade games its an awesome place to be in because you can meet you, new people, you havent met before
Been going there since I was in high school, and now taking my son there. Mini golf and video games never grow old.
Fun place for mini golf. Four different courses are available.
I tried to go here and the parking lot was impossible to park in. Mostly because cars were horribly parked due to no lines painted in the lots. There is absolutely ZERO social distancing put into place. I felt severely unsafe even just entering. I wanted to go putt-putting, but I dont think the way this business is handling a pandemic is appropriate or safe. I left due to over crowded, unmasked areas. It is a very cute place and looks like if the world were living in a different time it would have been incredibly enjoyable place to spend my evening. I would NOT suggest anyone to go here in the present day we are in and I would suggest this business to step up and recognize the present pandemic time we are in.
I had the best time playing miniature golf. Is the employees are very helpful.
Fun place when you need someplace for the family to have fun, not very money friendly if you have more than two children..30 plus dollars for the few rides they have however kids had fun. Thats All that matters
They got alittle bit of everything for the family! Great place to spend the day! They only thing is they dont have much food selection but other then that its a fun place!
Gun for the family. Good deals for faming as well as the ride side if the thing. Definitely reccomend this place.
$35 wrist band but if you dont remember to add the golf and arcades as an odd on at the time of purchase for $5, they dont let you add that on later, you then have to pay full price. The golf course is so dark at night due to bad/broken lighting you cant see the holes you are aiming for. Finally, a lot of the kids there wernt wearing masks, Saturday 24th Oct 2020, when the US posted 79K COVID cases.
They werent big on social distancing or masks but had a fun time
Castles N Coasters is a great place to visit for kids of all ages. It has a nice arcade with colorful pinball machines and classic games. The mini golf course is whimsical, the rollercoaster is exeriorating, and with go karts and waterboats makes it a destination worth visiting when you come to the (Peoria) Phoenix Arizona
Fun. Not too far to travel. Not overly priced like so many others
Short lines nice employees but no one was wearing masks yes I chose to go to castle and coasters but they should be enforcing the mask policy they offer complimentary gloves yet they where out of them
Absolutely had a great time here it was super hot though last night it was 109 degrees at 10 at night so dont worry about no makeup or cute just take your kids are your date with no worries on how youre going to look cuz it is one hot mug out there
First time going out in 5 months. had so much fun and then it was cut short the last hour when people decided to fight. i mean multiple fights and guns and cops chasing people. i haven’t been out of the house for months and when i do it our plan of riding each ride once (even the scary scary ones) is ruined. not to mention money’s tight so we wanted all our time not to be ripped off rides and sent home because other people don’t know how to act
It is a little dingy but what do you expect its an old theme park with lots of foot traffic. Its always a blast and they do a great job offering deals throughout the seasons. The staff works really hard cleaning everything according to covid regulations. Their food is a little on the higher price but the memories of fun times is higher.
Best time to go is right now, I recommend buying an icee tho. No lines, you can race the go karts, get back in line and go again. Only barely packed at night, either than that. Now its a nice time to go.
Great amusement park for its size! We were able to spend hours here without getting bored. Even on Valentines Day night the lines werent terrible, either. Granted theres only one REAL rollercoaster here, its a great bang for your buck for all the other attractions they have, and they have mini golf, too.
Good place to have fun, good food and service.$34.99 unlimited rides after 6:00 pm
Had a blast with our kids and grandchildren. We will do it again next year!
Employees arent wearing masks when working directly with guests. Not even when you ask politely :/ 2000 cases reported in Maricopa county alone yesterday
Great Family entertainment that has been here since the 1970s.
Yesterday we decided since we just moved to the area it would be fun to get out of the house and take our daughter here . It was a fun experience over all I will say though . One of the arcade machines stopped working during our fun and took like 5$ off of our arcade card . We called for someone to assist us with either a refund or give us the tickets she earned . We called twice and waited in total for about 30 minutes and no one ever came . And the lovely staff of girls behind the prize counter just stood there talking and eating . Would have appreciated the customer service, but they must have had other things to talk about other than their customers experience . No one ever followed up with us we were there for about 2 hours . So maybe next time just make sure your guests are happy and accommodated to . But other than that good environment.
The arcade is great and affordable. Load a game card with however much you want, or pay about $13 for 3 hours and let loose. There are 2 floors of arcade games, both old school and new. They also have a food station, but beware because they are expensive. I ended up spending $30 on a personal size cheese pizza, slushie, and popcorn chicken meal with fries and drink!
Had so much fun was kinda surprised when i found out it was open during covid. P.s take ur inhaler before going in LOL
Very crowded and only about half the people were wearing masks (including employees). We witnessed people prepping food that were not even wearing masks. The police officers didnt have them on at all. I get that it is hot but its not really that difficult to wear them. This is why the virus is spreading so rampant.
Kids had a blast. Its was really fun...
Had a good time playing a game of mini golf, the astro turf is in some rough shape in several holes however
Needs some love put into it. It feels like theyre giving up on this place a bit
