We love coming to K1 for company activities! It’s a great place to blow off steam and put your skills to the test.My team of guys really enjoy how the K1 staff make it fun and competitive. As the team leader I appreciate the value for the mo why we spend here. It’s not a cheap coMany activities ugh but I always feel like we get more value out of it than what it costs.The food is always really good too. I’m surprised each time because often places like this just focus on the fun but not the food but I’ve yet to be disappointed with the pizza or wings or burger. These guys have it together! Great place to race. Cars are in great condition. Track layout is challenging. The racing is fierce! Didnt try the food but the dining area was nice. We were visiting from Texas and we had a blast!

This place was really fun, first time cart racing but will do it again. Only issue was the food took a very long time, got chicken strips and it was close to an hour wait. Yes there was 8 of us but the place was empty either than us.

Had a good time with my fiancee was only a few people there so had the track to ourselfs... Will be back sometime in the future...

Terrible customer service!! We called the Phoenix location a week in advance and said wed like to celebrate our sons birthday with racing. We are in Tucson a ~2 hour drive away. They refused to take a reservation and said there is normally a 45 minute wait. When we arrived there was a 2.5 hour wait! We asked the manager if there was some way he could work with us for another weekend since our son is at college in the Valley & we are south of Tucson. No. He was completely unwilling. Our student had school work and could not wait for hours, so we did not race and will never return to this location.

This is fun, but they no longer explain the basics to first time attendees about findingvthe apex, how to corner load your tires properly, etc.Nor do they explain your lap sheet and what the lines mean.They also no longer explain how & when to let someone pass, nor do they explain the flags and their meanings any longer, producing worse drivers who dont know what to do.Having helmet based radios would help this a lot. Driver #34, take the corner to the right and allow the person behind you to pass.

Very fun, I think 10 people is a bit much especially if some of those people dont really know what there doing. But its very fun. The kind of car you get is a bit of a gamble tho, some dont have traction and others do.

My daughter (age 8) and son (age 10) had a blast! Jr carts go 30mph and adult carts go 45mph I believe. Great time, give it a try and tell them I sent you (maybe I get something lol). Plus it has a/c too! C u there!

I enjoyed it very much took my son for fathers day it was a blast. Coming back for sure and bring a couple friends to race. My son Spenser is hard to beat I love the challenge with him. Cant wait to come back. Only thing is that your food area wasnt open? Hope that may change in the near future,understand the virus is probably restricted you. All good

It was our first time there and had a fantastic time. The entire staff was very professional and friendly and guided us through the entire process. Very good COVID-19 procedures in place as well. Two thumbs up

Shocked to learn that people are re-using helmets without even slightly sanitizing it. YOU BREATH ON A HELMET. This is the most simple thing you can do. What is the purpose of wearing masks then or even sanitizing the carts. Where is the common sense here?

9/7/ 2020 Labor Day...the place was well kept at a cool temperature for a summer indoor activity which should be expected from any decent business catering to customers. It had a nice appeal inside and the facilities had a good atmosphere.***Reason for the 1 rating***Per the high pricing.The helmets smelled nasty. Not much else to say about it... It was very gross!There was no structure to how people got their turn with the karts, some customers were forced to wait two hours plus before they could ride for the first time, while others didnt wait too long to take multiple turns racing (not sure if this had to do with the staff catering to ony larger groups as seen on other negative reviews). This led to multiple complaints... you could see a lot of customers confused or upset and asking the staff for an explanation. I was seating close to the racers staging area and I could see the staff constantly dealing with angry customers. Also inside where the front desk was located, the front desk staff never provided a consistent explanation on how they prioritized the list of racers.After spending over $100 for two riders and waiting 4.5 hours to take 2 turns this was a total disappointment. I will admit that due to the holiday the place must of been busier than usual, however the way the staff was communicating customers on the wait time was completely unacceptable and just not worth it.It was also evident that there was no Senior Management running the place. There was an employee on what it appeared to be his day off, riding every race with customers. I assumed he was an employee because he was using the business tools (clipboards and the cellphone looking device that controlled the Karts), he was walking around the track and directing some of the customers while not wearing the black uniform the other employees had on. This guy was aggressively racing, definitely going faster than the other racers (it almost appeared as if his Kart was tuned to go faster? Cant be sure), but in attempting to pass other racers, this guy spun at least 3 Karts on the tight corner right before the tunnel, however he was never kicked out during any of his consecutive races. If this kid was an employee there was absolutely no valid reason for him to be doing what he was doing during business hours, which is a further insult to all the customers waiting their turn for hours while jeopardizing peoples safety. The staff there didnt seem to care... He was also not consistently wearing a face mask while walking around the track or when casually talking to the staff 1 on 1. This was very bizarre...Lastly the location of this business is definitely not appealing. I liked the inside look of the facilities, but unfortunately they are located on a back alley of a nasty looking business park in Phoenix, definitely not a family area... I am never coming back.

My son absolutely love it here! K1 is an awesome place for amazingly fun family time, and even for employers for super fun team building events. We always have the best time here.I do recommend going to their website before visiting for FAQS. Their are hieght requirements and safety information so you can have the best experience when you visit. You will not regret it!

Very disappointed... Dont go here...We thought it would be a good idea to come on a weekday so that there wouldnt be too many people. Indeed, there werent too many people, but that didnt stop them from making us wait more than 40 minutes for the race.Eventually, it was our turn. It was very disappointing... After one round, the cart I was on refused to move forward. Everyone had to stop and the lady came up to me to check what the problem was. She did something to the cart and let us start driving again. Not even half a lap later, the same happened again. They gave me a new cart and we could all start again. Two laps later, we all had to stop AGAIN because someone elses cart stopped working. We lost so much time and so many laps. It was extremely disappointing... It would have been great should they have let us start over from the beginning of the race after these problems but they refused to do so...The racing is also wildly overpriced. You pay 23 dollars for one race, which, if youre lucky, takes about 5 minutes... Added to that, you have to pay 7 dollars for a yearly subscription! 30 dollars for 40 minutes of waiting and 5 minutes of, well, not even driving... Pathetic!I dont think Ill be visiting again and I wouldnt really recommend others to do so either.

Wow what a great experience! Went to K1 for a team builder and the staff was great. The orientation was good and all levels of driver felt comfortable. The track is fun and the carts are quick but feel appropriate for this size of track. The helmets were plenty and you get race results after each heat. We had a mini Grand Prix and all the drivers had fun. Recommend they have a soda fountain but other than that the snack bar has bottled soda, popcorn, candies and what looked like pizza but we had some food catered. So just bought bottled drinks. Plenty of seating to sit by the track and an actual winning nascar!

Great fun just a little pricy. Plus being competitive is not encouraged weird.

I love it, it is fun it is kinda pricey in my opinion but it is well worth it. The kids and husband all had a blast racing against each other even my mom got in the action. The kids had fun racing grandma! We might come again to use our yearly membership.

This place was great! They have rules so people arent crashing into each other, its timed based so no need to worry about active placement in the race, flags to help drivers in front to pull to the side a bit to let the faster people drive by and fun for people of all ages. Clean and sanitary facilities, a few arcade games to play while you await your next race and a free race on your birthday week. Great place for a date night post quarantine and lockdowns.

This place was great. The staff was very friendly. I brought my 10 and 12 year old daughters and they had a blast. They both want to come back!!!

I brought my spouse here for her 32nd birthday and she enjoyed herself. It was very clean, and nice environment. The staff was very helpful and nice. I definitely recommend from family, to spouse, to friends you’ll enjoy this location.

Save your money and do not go here.We found a deal online that discounted two races or gave a 25% discount on your purchase. Apparently this location doesnt accept the offer (even though that wasnt in the disclosure). With a $7 mandatory annual membership (even though were from out of state on vacation and brought our own helmets), it came out to over $90 for three people to do a single race (8-10 minutes)!! Youd think that a business that might go under due to covid closures, etc would want ANY business but no...So we decided to play a few arcade games while we figured out what else to do that isnt stupidly expensive. We happily changed out our dollars for tokens and were going to order food and then were told that the entertainment area (i.e. the lobby) was only for guests who paid for the races and were asked to leave. Seriously?? Were paying customers and it was literally dead - we were the ONLY people there and trying to give them some money.I will never come here again and I hope you dont make the mistake either.

Website says for ALL ages, only to find out our 5 year old couldnt ride. We picked K1 because of the websites age directions. The older boys had fun and the track is Amazing. Other than needing to be more clear on their website, it was a blast.

The staff is really chill, the place is clean, the helmets tend to have a small but they give you head socks, the carts are smooth and good working condition. We did two races, worth the money if you dont do it too often, but will definitely do again soon.

Ive come here many times and I can say Ive never had a problem and even during the summer it doesnt feel too bad inside. Definitely enjoy coming to this place.

Pretty disappointed. My son and I came to race together however my son is 1 too short to race in the adult class. So they expect us to go race separately, I feel like this is a big mistake and there should be a way for everyone to race together. Very disappointed, will not be coming back.

The boys had a very good time period but if they have 3 separate sessions the boys go around one time then they have to get off the go karts weight go back on it just seems like it was a lot of work but the boys did have a great time the staff was young and a fiend a bit in experienced but over a boys had a good time period

When they tell you your race is going to start its normal not until 45 mins after. It was okay but not worth the price.

In all honesty this place is quite the step down from octane raceway. Hidden in a back ally of Phoenix its not too inviting, as you first walk in you are greeted by an employee at the counter. I was helped by Cameron, she was extremely helpful and knew her stuff.if it werent for the interaction with her I would have probably given this place 1 star. I did two races and they were interesting to say the least. With seats, peddles and a steering wheel that doesnt adjust, unlike Octane, the karts seemed old and out of date.

Really great. Management fixed any issues I had.

My company took us here for an end of the year/ holiday party and I had so much fun. Highly recommend. The cars can go pretty fast but you can go slow if you need to.

Ive been coming here for 6 years! Recently though quite a bit! I love the crew! And the management there! Best place to go to for a date and or with family and friends! It sucks that they are closing because of the virus thatd spreading around! But, thats okay! Hopefully when this all passes by! Ill be coming back, haha!

Fun races, a bit short and racing against the clock, not other racers.

I took my niece and nephew but my husband and I have a 2 year old so when we found out the wait was an 1:40 so the girl suggested we create a profile and make a reservation and come back. So we did and came back at out appointment time (35min before our race time). When we came back, we were told they dont take reservations. I explained what the other worker had said. The girl at the desk found our names on the list and said it would be about 30 to 35 min wait. After 2 HOURS we finally got to ride. The guy giving SAFETY instructions spoke faster than anyone Ive ever heard and right next to the loud track. The people in my group kept saying they couldnt hear him and he just kept saying, I know, its loud in here but then didnt repeat himself and didnt slow down. He said three people in my group would need boosters but then didnt convey that to the people getting us in our cars and so they were struggling driving well. My car died and my nieces car died during the race and the workers commented as they pushed me off the track, that this was like the 5th time that day that car died and they should probably pull it. The concession stand was only manned some of the time, the bathrooms were disgusting and none of the process is clearly explained or posted. I have never seen a worse run and dangerous establishment. Only go here if you plan to spend a whole day for a 3minute ride.

Fun times with the family! We were here years ago and many improvements have been made since we were last here. Snack bar, pool table, couches to lounge around on and good seating to watch the racing.

This place is great for any occasion, from birthday parties to just burn off some steam.Being behind the wheel is asically a getaway from reality.It’s a lot of fun when you have a big group because it gets more intense!Highly recommended for anyone of any age.Definitely coming back for more speed and getting better time!

It was ok. Beats sitting on the couch but there is definitely favoritism for the regulars. No big deal, not that serious to me, just a quick night out with the wife. Overall I had fun so Im good with that.

This place is pretty awesome. I took my son and we had a good time. We would have liked to do more than one race but its hard to justify paying $56 for 8ish minutes of fun. Would definitely go back if they were doing a special or if I found half price coupons somewhere. Price is why I didnt give it 5 stars. If youre not cheep like me this would be a great place to hangout snack at the snack bar and throw down a few laps

If I could give Zero stars I would. I patronized this facility twice. Only because we purchased 2 races and only had the opportunity to race once during the first visit. They do not take reservations unless you have a party of 8 or more. So if you plan to take your child here be prepared to be pushed to the side for groups and wait AT LEAST 2 hrs before you can race. Because we had such a horrible experience the first time, I called ahead to see when was the best time to come in that day, the woman at the front desk told me what the best time would be to come in, in between groups. That’s what we did and we still waited over 2 hrs to race once. There’s absolutely nothing to do while you wait but sit around. Theres a pool table and a basketball game but that’s pretty much it. Worst experience and we will never be back.

The staff were proficient and the place is well kept. I only gave 4 stars because of the price. As a mom of 4 I would not be able to afford to take my kids here. The racing itself it awesome and fun. Went on wed night at 7pm, no wait.

Better than expected, I thought this would be geared towards children and they do have JR carts, but the carts got up to a good speed. I had a lot of fun with a few friends here and even took 1st in my 3rd race. The track is setup nicely and the three race package is a good value that gives you a good time for $60 when all is said and done. Each race was 12 laps and the carts were electric so no concerns for fumes when youre behind me.

Quick responses on packages and a really good time. Suggest for any night event you may have planned. My 30th birthday was great thanks to this place.

Make sure you call ahead. There was a pre booked party and we had a three hour wait. Track was nice, food was good.

Good racing venue, we went on a Friday night and it was pretty busy. ~1hr wait to race, but once we started (we paid for 3) they were pretty much back to back. Efficiently run, organized, and typical for an electric indoor karting track. and the carts were decently maintained. The only complaint I have is that it was HOT. Granted outside was like 112, inside it was probably 85-90. Other than that it was great.

My son and I went to this place. Friendly staff and it’s a fun track! Highly recommended.It was my sons first time riding them: we will be back again.

Kids had a great time. We went during the week, in the afternoon, and we had the track to ourselves. It was fun learning how the cars drive on those tracks and it was interesting to see how much faster you got after each session. Its a little pricey the first time you go because of the added cost for the membership, but overall it was worth it. Think of it this way, this is way cheaper than going and buying your own go-kart and finding a track to race on. Or is it? The kids now want to become kart racers....

My husband had a great time for his birthday. Full race by his self.

K1 speed is unorganized and not worth the trip. Without any race tickets provided at check in partnered outdated call system leads to hours of wasted time waiting for a subpar race experience. Race sheets are printed sporadically, so youll be lucky to find yours amongst the scattered papers. The only reason to wait is due to them holding your money hostage between races.

Great place for team bonding. Track is a little small but its a safe environment to start go Karting.

This place is sooo much fun! Id recommend it more for older children and adults as the carts can be a bit rough. Definitely left with a few bruises from crashes but sooo worth it!

I did a group event with some friends. We had a great time. The equipment was is excellent condition and the staff was extremely professional. The staff really kept things moving, quickly and efficiently clearing any on track incidents. Their level of professionalism far exceeded what you would typically experience at a place like this and really made for a pleasant event.

Came here for my little bros Bachelors party. This place is a ton of fun. Great track and fun cars.On our last race one of our cars died (which was super disappointing since it was the second fastest driver and we were talking a lot of trash). We thought we were just out of luck, but Caulder, the general manager worked with us to make it right.Its not often companies do the right thing anymore, but these guys did. Id definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good competitive time.

Well if you dont make reservations(requires a party of 8) then its first come first serve! So if I cant race with my friends at the sametime then that takes the fun out of it!

Went for my birthday with my fiance. We bought three races each but only raced one because she did not like it. I have been waiting to ride the go-karts going on six years now. And I finally got to and it was absolutely amazing. The race was her and I eight other people. I ended up getting first place fastest lap!

First time going there for my dads birthday and I didnt know what to expect. It was really fun and the staff were really friendly! There directions were really clear and my brother said he even wants to go again on his birthday! We will probably be back before that anyway. Cant wait to race again!
