A nice small park near Penns Landing. Attractions are the Irish Memorial Sculpture and the Scottish Immigrants Monument. There is an off-leash fenced area where the local dogs come to play. If youre in the area, I recommend stopping in the park.
As with most places nowadays enjoy pay attention and be vigilant its a nice area but definitely a seedy area with the same familiar characters i alway see and new ones
It Was Really Nice N Exciting
Nit much to see but the tribute was nice
Wonderful tribute to the arrival of the Irish after the potato famines to Philadelphia
Nice and peaceful at night time they also have seating outside
Worth a quick side trip
Lovely place to sit by the water and enjoy the scenery .
Theres a lot of history here and even though it is not as expansive as a museum or art there is so much to read and learn.
Great place to relax, and go out on a date.
Nice place to take lunch, and relax
Truth be told, I-95 runs right underneath it so the noise is taxing. But its an Irish memorial and I am (of) Irish (descent). Plus you can look over Penns Landing to the Delaware river and the Garden State (NJ)...
Very impressive and emotional moving, the Irish Memorial. Scottish statue is interesting and moving too. Both enphatize the aim of welcoming and the community spirit. I suggest to visit this place.
Really cool place for folks with Scottish or Irish heritage. Very interesting markers and statues, and a nice place to sit and relax. Within a short walk from both Penns Landing and Independence Hall.
This park has write ups explaining the Irish immigration story with an amazing sculpture to illustrate. Right on the water makes it even easier to imagine.
We went bike riding on the bike lane from S. Philly. It was late at night . It was perfect
Just stumbled upon this taking a walk and Im glad we checked it out. The sculpture is very impressive and detailed.
Beautiful park but littered with trash and homeless people. Cardboard boxes everywhere. Its a shame, theres a good area there for a nice dog park.
The Lords Paint brush
Beautiful sculpture and a marker for Tun Tavern the birthplace of the United States Marine Corps.
Beautifully maintained park in memoriam of the Irish potato famine, and the wave of immigration it caused, shaping the city of Philadelphia. The bronze statue is stunning and a sight to be seen by those with Irish heritage and every person with an immigration story in their family tree. Both the Irish and American flags are maintained quarterly by charitable organizations and private contributors. A must see ceremony takes place each saint Patricks day.
Great place to learn a lot of the USA history

Pro Acts Recovery Walk, 9/21/19
Very well-written and heartwrenching history if the Irish famine and a phenomenal sculpture. Try to read all 8 plaques and observe all sides of the sculpture. The Scottish one is well done too.
Nice place to chill
Beautiful sculpture and tribulation to a part of history.
Its a beautiful walk around, this is a romantic place, with delightful views around, the only challenge find your parking.Preferably at Independence visitor hall
Excellent little park with some great statues that are truly works of art.
It was historical and fun. There could have been more info on the subject
The park is a welcome space in an otherwise busy trafficked area of Old City and Penns Landing. Runs along the Delaware River Front.
Expanded recreational public venue.
Depends on where on 95 you are could be in a work getting done back up because 95 will still be getting worked on 100 years from now (true story) or just a regular back up its a shocker for it to be normal during the day only late at night is there no traffic
Great park!
Great park, statuary and information.
Quiet, clean and written history on display.
Learning about the Irish and Scottish immigrants.
Nice little park with historical statuary for Scottish and Irish immigrants.
Small park with a wonderful monument representing the immigration. You can walk around and see the different views over the bridge.
