Centennial Arboretum is a fun place to spend a few hours. Great and magnificent trees. Some of the trees would benefit from a good pruning and there were a few dead or heavily diseased trees that need to be removed. We were excited to see so many beautiful dawn redwood trees, Japanese maples huge London plane trees. Many more tree ID tags would have been greatly appreciated. We only saw a few during our walk.

This place rules. It is awesome that Philly has public spaces like this. The (free) getaway at the greenhouse event was excellent. Great programming for younger kids and good food and drinks.

Lots of trash, the park in general is broken up by countless fences and busy roads which make it hard to appreciate or even feel like youve gotten away from the concrete jungle. Very little signage or guidance, so dont expect your children to learn much. Otherwise there are some pretty features and trees.

The annual site for the huge #PhiladelphiaCherryBlossomFestival!!! #ILoveIt!! Its beautiful all year round here but so much more so when the PCBF is here! The good food, fun, entertainment, workshops, meeting so many artisans from this country and Japan, the hundreds of creative #Cosplay (A person dressing up like their favorite #JapaneseAnime, #Marvel, #DC, movies... character) festival goers... They even setup a picturesque #DogPark which doubles as everyones favorite Photography backdrop destination throughout the many acres! And I get to photograph and film it all!! #FamilyFun #DontMissThisEventInPhilly #ISeeYouEverywhere #BillAndrewsPhotography #WilliamAndrewsPhotography

Hidden gem, even in the winter when the Japanese house isnt open. Favprote thing; Museum Without Walls, the Island of Misfit Toys for weird random statues.
