We had a truly AMAZING time! The attention to detail related to COVID restrictions made for a safe and comfortable environment. Due to the limited number of guests, we recieved what felt like a private tour by the one and only Ryan, the museum librarian. His wealth of knowledge for every car and history behind each model were key elements for an outstanding museum experience. I can not think of a single element that I would change. We will be back!!!

Very cool museum. Id have preferred if hoods were open. Most of the cars are pre 1980 race cars. I was surprised to see no mention of super modified racing and little to no mention of Indy racing. Id have loved if there were an exhibit to showcase the sound of some of those cars...maybe a booth where each car could be selected and listened to. I think nothing matches the sound of a flat crank V8...but, there were some pretty exotic engines there which may have changed my opinion had I heard them. Was also surprised to see very little representation of top fuel or funny drag cars.

What a cool place to go to. Some of the coolest cars you will find in the area outside of the Philadelphia Auto Show which is only in town once a year where that this place is open all year old long. Be sure to bring your camera and plenty of time to be able for the Full Experience. I was told there is a Ferrari here worth more than 2.5 million dollars. If you want to see some of the greatest cars of History this location has to be on your must go to list. They even have one of my favorites a 90s fairlady Z unmolested.

Wow! What an awesome place. I would recommend if you go to look up when their next demo day is. Nearly all of the cars in the museum are in running order as evidenced by their demo days. It is quite an amazing collection of historic cars. Not just historic in that it was a car that was made in low numbers. But the cars here have individual acclaim.Upon walking in they were moving their Porsche 917 into place for the days events. Just hearing the engine and the smell of race fuel and oil were enough to get me excited. My son and I had some time to browse before the first event of the day. A Scrutineering session. They detailed the engineering feats of each of the cars on their demo day agenda in wonderful detail. Next was the equally interesting history talk. Then moved the cars to the demo area. Was really cool to see historic Le Mans cars driving around albeit in a pretty small area. My only complaint is it was really hard for my son to see. Unfortunately old men with cameras don’t have any manners.Overall it was a wonderful time and we will be making the trek from Baltimore again soon. Thank you for the great time.

This car museum specializes in rare race cars from the teens to the 70s. Each car is a work of art. The museum displays the automobiles with descriptive plaques for each, videos in various sections, and a free mobile phone app with additional written descriptions and audio mini-lectures. You can get a feel for the place by downloading the app in advance of a visit; its available for Android and iPhone. There is free parking on site. Adult admission is $12. Child, Senior, and Military discounts are available. The museum hosts a variety of special events and programs throughout the year. The museum can be rented for private events.

The museum has race cars from the early 1900s up until the 80s. Cars are behind ropes, but you get close enough access to see inside and get good pictures. I would estimate there were just under a 100 cars in the museum. We didnt go on one of the demo weekends, but I think that would have made for a better experience. Actually being able to see the cars in action and look under the hood.

We had a good time learning about the cars and deciding which were our favorites.I suggest considering interactive exhibits to attract more families with young children and field trips. I also agree with the person who said upgraded lighting would help visitors enjoy the beautiful cars.Thank you for giving us a fun and unique outing!

I am not a car person. My husband is. So when he said let’s take our 2-year-old to a car museum, I was apprehensive: priceless cars + toddler = scary. But no, Simeone is ready for kids. They have large plastic cars the kids can either “drive” around in or a parent can push, kid-friendly activity sheets, and if you are there for the car lectures, the sound system reaches all corners. So if you have an busy kid, you can still listen and even see the giant screen presentation from most angles. And the staff are kid-friendly (and friendly to adults, too)!

One-of-a-kind collection of approximately 65 of the most significant sports and racing cars of the 20th century. As many commenters have mentioned, select saturdays see a few of the cars circulating the 3 acre pavement behind the building with their sights, sounds and smells; Im unaware of any car museum with a similar attraction. As for value, there are several cars in the collection of indeterminate value (so valuable that its difficult to estimate), there are a number of others worth in excess of $30 million, and the majority of the rest are $1 million dollars plus. And many of the cars are intentionally unrestored; cars (like many other historic things) retain more of their value if they are able to be preserved rather than restored. Enjoy the collection, take your time and learn as much as you can while youre there!!

The Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum houses a collection of some of the rarest cars in the world. They are predominantly Sports Racing Cars which essentially means they were, or closely resembled cars that could be legally driven on public roads, and with few or no modifications, could be driven in competition. Several of the non-racing automobiles on display were of the highest quality and had sporting natures by virtue of their designs or inovations.I am of the opinion that automobiles are reflections of the world conditions at the time of their manufacture -- aesthetically, technologically, functionality, and costs. Many rivalries played out on racing circuits as well as on the showroom floor for manufacturers like Alfa-Romeo, Bentley, Bugatti, and Mercedes - Benz; Jaguar, Aston - Martin, and Ferrari; Ford and Porsche, and speaking of cost, the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum offers one of the best entertainment and educational values available anywhere, especially on Demonstration Days. Visit the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum in Philadelphia, where The Spirit of Competition thrives!

The museum was having a demonstration day program and pulled two cars out of the building to allow everyone to see them run and get up close. The cars were a GT40 Mark 2 and a GT40 Mark 4 and the unmuffled sound of 427 Ford motors from the 60s is great. The car collection is large enough to spend time with, but not so big you cant get it all in. It is a raceing sports car museum so you wont find a bunch of Model Ts. No this is much cooler.
