Pretty dirty mall, but great selection of clearance if you are looking for a bargain!
Bought tickets for the first John Wick, it showed John Wick 2. While sitting though it trying not to ruin my evening by complaining the lights turned on half way through the movie. Told the manager afterwards and instead of apologizing he said it my my fault for buying the wrong tickets. I was told I bought the wrong tickets because my ticket only says John Wick and doesnt specify 1 or 2. I was not looking for a refund I was looking for an apology.
Couldnt even enjoy the movie I pay for to watch in peace. An entire family in back of us talked. Yelled, screamed & laughed the entire time.
I love AMC Philadelphia Mills They haveSo much Movies to show and They have a Snack bar too Where you can buy Snacks atThey have the best Co-Workers there.
I really like the way they poop
Love this place, the sound is amazing and it is clean!
5 stars for no reason
Movies r open but not the concession stand. Eat b4 movie
Movie theater was clean and not crowded. Staff where also friendly. They do not have the newer seats that fold back. But I prefer the old school seats so I was happy.
Went with the family and had a great time. Just wish the popcorn was warmer. The people acted very curious. I love it. Will return!!!!
Tonight me and my family went to go see charlie’s angels. first off amazing movie. second i seen a rat in the movie theater and third when we were done the movie around 10:45pm and we came out and their were straws everywhere! i mean somebody grab the straws and threw them everywhere! me and my family were nice enough to pick them up and put them aside. but other then that everything was great!
I love the AMC movie chain. I wish they would come out with a value food package. You spend $40 - $50 on each visit
Was great. U get to pick your seating theres pizzas n slider burgers etc. Movie was lame but not the theaters fault of course. Cant wait to go back here vs. Regal movies
Seats are old and are nonreclining. Popcorn wasnt popped fresh. Theater needs revamping. Only picked this location because it had the movie time that worked for our schedule. Would not go back.
Your female worker her name was max. She was giving a lot of attitude towards me and she was very rude. All I asked was a question and she got mad. It wasn’t just me tho she did it to one of the other costumers
Good place to go watch your movies, the staff were very nice when the tickets were being picked. If you go early at Tuesdays the tickets are as low as $4.59!!. Thats a steal right there and good entertainment at a cheaper price.
I am here seeing Fantasy Island in Theater 1. The place seems clean. I keep forgetting that some AMC theaters still have the uncomfortable old seats... I don’t like the seats... it’s tight, and I can’t recline my legs comfortably. I have been spoiled with the beautiful new red/black recliners at the AMC’s I’ve been too. The concessions were light, not much of an option. The lady was sweet and kind though. I guess it’s a little empty because it’s a Wednesday night. Even though the seats are old, it is nostalgic to sit in the old seats and see the old design. They are just a little uncomfortable now...
What the heck is wrong with movie theaters? a lot of movie theaters are going downhill and this is definitely one of them. The service to get your snacks was just horrible. I think they had one person working there to do everything. The candy prices are just through the roof. The theater looks dirty and worn. the screen had a bright pixel that was just so annoying. The sound quality was good and the picture would have been good without that bright pixel.
Clean theatres, Decent variety of concessions options, convenient location within the Philadelphia Mills (Still in my heart as Franklin Mills) Mall - which is accessible by SEPTA buses for non-drivers... Still have old stadium seats, upgrading the seats would be nice and keep them competitive with other movie theatres in the general region.Since its an AMC brand theater, I recommend checking Groupon before just going there and paying full price; AMC features the most coupons for movie tickets, especially on Groupon.
Good movie theater. They have the comfortable seating here. Also run specials for early shows.
Went to see an IMAX movie here. It was clean and a good movie experience. Good picture and sound.
This theater needs a serious upgrade. The chairs were very old, steel gray chairs, they did not recline, were not comfortable at all. It was handwritten paper signs place in the ceiling to tell which theater was which. They ran out of food, hot dogs, but whats good is the staff, who was pleasant, courteous and friendly.
A little dirty sometimes but still pretty good and has some of the lowest prices in philly and now a great menu. Food is not cheap bit thats everywhere really
$20+ for a movie ticket which is alright to see a movie I really wanted to. First time every ordering overpriced food at a dine in theather, ordered $12.99 wings told them my theater and seat almost 30min before movie started. They never gave me my food and after the movie when I asked for a refund or some compensation they said they couldnt because I didnt have the receipt and paid in cash. Lets be honest how many people go to the movie theaters and lie about overpriced food to get something for free. contacted AMC online and they gave me a complete generic response about they will try better. Like the movie industry is already seeing a slack in sales and you cant give me good customer service to get me to comeback? At least if I didnt have a receipt give me a gift card to encourage my to comeback another time to spend money on expensive food. Might as well bootleg movies and use streaming services like Netflix instead of out of touch movie theaters.
I love movies and this theater is a great place to replace for a few hours with friend and family and watch something everyone can enjoy.
Theater number 8 is very filthy. The Cellien, walls, and seats needs to be change asap. If not movie gowers will go home with bed bugs and upper respiratory infections. Overall the movie was Excellent.
It was great a lot of stores needs more eateries though.
Being an A lister VIP member means nothing here..... I was put in on wait in line for a half hour for chicken strips........ I missed the very beginning and a full portion of the movie.... I was really upset.... then I have the counter girl give me the wrong order 2wice and there she was parading around behind the counter in back prepping food and eating with her co worker....... I remember when I worked fast food to punch out and take your food elsewhere away from customer view especially after handling money......
Brick movie theater he just knew better soon
Love it here. Sometimes can get a lill warm but oh well..lol 6 dollar Tuesdays arw awsome also..
It was OK needs updating reclining seats would be nice
Great movie. Not crowded at all. Best day to come.
Greetings. Where do I start. Well, I decided to treat my family to the movies. We went to another theater (Woodhaven 10) but tickets were sold out. So I said hey lets go to the Franklin Mills theater but let me tell you how bad of a decision that was. We get the tickets, go to the concession stand, then into our seats. As we gets to our row I noticed that one of the seats was broken but worst of all one seat had vomit all over it. I went to the CS desk and reported it. We were giving a chance to switch seats. Those were ok but not better. The popcorn was salty, pretzel bites were hard and my wife tried the cheese burger Mac & cheese w/bacon bowl and that was burned and salty as well. This used to be our go to theater but I will never be coming here again. It looks run down. Next time Ill take the trip to Neshaminy. Very upset.
I usually go to the movies with my kids. This was my first time going to the movies alone, it was a great experience. The theater wasnt crowded, there werent a lot of people making noise, it was a peaceful experience. Since I was there by myself I noticed that chairs were a little worn and needed to be replaced, but surprisingly the floors were clean no debris in sight.
Nice theater small but could have more employees taking orders at concession stand and at ticket counter.
The place was nice BUT.....What the H*LL is up with the food prices?Ill eat Before I go again. Cost me $19 for a soda & popcorn. I must have temporarily lost my mind when I bought this. Never again.
Movie was good. Theatre was dirty. Empty popcorn containers all over the place. Not very clean at all
Seats are almost too comfortable food prices a little steep but otherwise than that..all is good
For the theater start of the day the bathrooms stunk like urine floors were wet. The seats are the old uncomfortable ones. Good price and good movie.
Nice, clean theatres, and not very busy for matinees at or shortly after noon. And the dollar store in the mall makes snacks very cheap to carry in with you. Just dont carry them in, in a bag, and be too obvious about it. A 24oz bottle of soda for $1.00 and several boxes,of snacks for $1.00 each, instead $30 cost for a 16oz cup of soda and several snacks at the theatres concession stand. The Sr matinees are several dollars cheaper per ticket, making it a bargain for 2 people .
Third is the curse... i have been having issues with this place. I had two real bad experience and today i had the worst. Staff was rude “except the manager and another lady.” I bought the movies online for 6:45pm and still 7 20 and the movie still didnt play. I spoke with the staff about it and they seem annoying I complain the movie i pay for wasnt playing. Later the manager came. I did not for my money back.. instead I received some kind of guest movie ticket. Worst experience and service ever. Never again.
Today we visited this theater to view the movie Just Mercy 1:10 pm showing. However after waiting over 40 minutes overall with no show. We was told by the manager, the movie room had some technical problems and was not able to provide showing. Not good for this theater. Our tickets were refundedand re-admit tickets were issued. However $33.00 was spent on food items an time for travel and lost experience, Wow!!!!!
It was fun, service could have been better.
Inside the theaters are surprisingly clean. The seats are comfortable. Its handicap accessible. It has a large selection at the concession stand. The problems are that its always dirty at the concession stand, theres only one concession stand (it took 20 minutes for them to make my boyfriends curly fries), the bathrooms were nasty, and there was only one cashier working the ticket booth. There were two people in front of us and it still took about 15 minutes. Now that I know that you can just walk in and get your online ticket scanned, I guess I dont have to worry about that issue again at least. The tickets ARE only $5 on Tuesdays with the free membership, so... I cant complain much. With T-Mobile Tuesdays Atom Ticket discount, I only paid $0.25, so I really cant complain. I definitely wouldnt have gone to the movies if it was full price.
The theaters are a little too packed for my comfort, but other than that the staff is very friendly and there are plenty of running times for any new movies
The guy Ron who works there gave me a membership and i only paid 10.50 for two right on awesome thanks so much
Only go here in a pinch. Much prefer Woodhaven right around the corner. Filthy. Rude. Overall not a nice theater.
Horrible theater and everyone knows it. We were forced to see Avengers: Endgame here on opening day because it was full everywhere else. The place was virtually empty. Seems as though folks would rather wait than see a good movie here. I didnt get the memo. I should have waited.
Movie theater definitely got worse over the years. The reason why Im giving it a one star is because they had mice running around. They did not clean the theater prior to the movie starting. Trash was all under the seats and it smelled like Cigarettes. Its definitely not clean and the staff arent that friendly rather energetic aka helpful. You do better off going to the AMC theater on Broad and Cecil B Moore.
Clean movie theater. Staff was quite friendly and helpful. I saw Ad Astra in Imax. I highly recommend this theater.
Good theater but food and beverage prices are too high
Finally! I can able to see anymovie at early time and price is perfect!
Will go back had alot of fun
Went late but went to purchase refreshments doing the movie and none of the staff was available.
If I could give no stars I would. Candy was 3 months old and when I brought to management attention I was told to leave and they where going to call security on me for complaining. Customer service is zero
Poor service, 2 people ahead of us, took 10 minutes to get refreshments. Bathrooms Filthy, to top it off, Auditorium 4 has a noticeable HOLE On the SCREEN!!!! Obstruct the view of the movie. So noticeable. SMH..So disappointed. Ever heard of FIOS..NETFLIX ..Infinity..you definitely can be replaced. DO BETTER.
Decent place...kitchen/concession counter needs a makeover. See Flourtown
We went and saw a movie in imax. The only good thing about this theater was the sound and the nice ticket guy up front. The arm rest and floors were sticky. Nothing looked clean. The entire movie I smelled old ketchup lingering god knows where...maybe in the seats themselves. I know they didn’t even bother the sweep in between shows with popcorn and napkins all over the floors. The bathroom was a nightmare. Toilets were stopped up and unusable. There was bodily fluids all over the floor, I mean ALL over. Tissue was missing from the stalls, and there was no soap in the first bathroom I went into. I felt like I was dodging land mines in there and seriously was disgusted to even touch a door handle. Lastly, I don’t know what policy is for the area, but we brought our 16 and 14 year old kids...my husband is almost 40 and had to card him to make sure someone was an adult because our kids would be out past curfew before we could even enter the place. So yea, great movie, but I’ll not ever return to that theater again until they bulldoze it over and start again.
The movie start time is 3:30pm but theres a good 15-20 minutes of coming attractions to cushion any late comers. But not if theres only ONE cashier and the line is a half a block long and isnt moving. So after 25 minutes of waiting I just left the line. Would it have killed then to have another cashier? Its a Friday afternoon in the Summer time! Then they wonder why more people are just staying home watching bootlegs. Im not going to this cheap theater again!
The tickets are cheap but the whole theater is in need of a overhaul. They do offer reserved seating but the seats in the theatre are from the 90s. Narrow, old, and theater #2 where we saw our movie smelled awful, we will not be back. It felt dirty and made my family and I uncomfortable.
Good movies to watch I watch Aladdin and Will Smith in the movie. 5 star for will smith
I went there to see Bad Boys. It was hilarious. I love that movie.
Went here this past wednesday to catch a movie with my son who was on leave from the military, we were totally disgusted with this theater. There was food and trash all over the floor and the bathrooms were atrocious. This needs to be addressed, because movies are very expensive and to go to a theater that is kept in this kind of condition is ridiculous.. AMC get it together.
Ugggg they do not have lounging chairs, at least not in #11! As usual, the prices for popcorn and drinks were more than they should be. Ohhhh but Maleficent was absolute amazing!!
Service wasn’t terrible, but the theater was very dirty. The seats were broken, there was trash left on and under the seats from the previous showing, and just overall uncomfortable to watch a movie. AMC Woodhaven (which is five minutes away) would be a better choice if you are trying to watch a movie around this area.
The theatre is a little ancient, but its very clean, nice crowd and its so much cheaper..it does get a lot of evening traffic so being on the AMC movie list is convenient because you can jump the line and get checked in right away.
This place sure has changed and not for the better. The popcorn was disgusting must have been leftover from the night before.Concession stand area wasnt clean food on the floor but I did enjoy the movie.
Not very helpful. They dropped the ball today, ticket kiosk wouldnt print, said to see ticket stand. Ticket booth says opens at 12;15, AMC employee washing windows, customer goes by and says you have to go inside for tickets, I as window washer and they say yes you have to go inside. We go inside and I tell the cashier all this and she just prints up the tickets and gives them to me, says theater #8, go there and theater is dark, they havent even opened up yet! You all are just a wealth of information. Geesh!
The concession stand was at least 50 people deep and they only had two concession cashiers. They only had popcorn and nachos readily available everything else was a 10 minute plus wait. Also, the self-serve beverage machines were out of almost everything. The IMAX theater was ridiculously small, didn’t have the reclining seats that it stated it would and the sound had too much treble and not enough bass. The majority of the guests we encountered were ignorant and the idea of purchasing specific seat numbers was a complete failure.
This theater needs to be remodeled, why is there still a poster in ladies room from when JLo was in Maid of Manhattan?!? Although theres a wider variety of food, at least perfect the original ones. Pretzel bites were a bit dry/stale and popcorn was burnt. Candy was overpriced at over $5 small bag of M&Ms. Most theaters now seem to have reclining seats, this one is not one of them.
The seats feel like your sitting on a rock and you have to constantly adjust yourself. Idk how we sat here as child because as adults we were fidgeting.
The floor was super stuck & thats before I walked into the actual theater I was gonna be sitting in. The concession line was sooooo long with only 2 lines open, the cashier was annoyed & definitely did even try to hide that she hated her job. There was popcorn everywhere in he lobby I wind up helping to obviously exhausted kids working clean around the butter machine, he was polite & thanked me
I know movie theaters are dying out these days, so its not a surprise to come to a just-released feature and be one of three people there. Still, the showrooms (theaters?) here are relatively clean, but nothing special. The reservation through the AMC app is kind of pointless, since there is often literally no one beside you. The plus side of that, of course, is that you can sit wherever!
Not crowded. Great movie. Clean theater. Bathrooms? Meh
Nice place to go, dont have any trouble. Usually can see a movie with little people unless its popular. No reclining seats
Went to a 10:15 show. Experienced an issue at concessions, however, the manager quickly handled the issue. I did miss a few minutes of the movie but overall a fair experience and the movie was very good. Not the cleanest theater but less expensive than neshaminy and Grant.
I enjoyed it it was nice n peaceful and not to crowded might I add
Cheapest movie theater in the northeast Philadelphia area. Frequented by good amount of teenagers. Sometimes have to tell them about their phones.
First, the seats were old, uncomfortable and small. Second, not run well, saw Avengers Endgame, no one managed the lines, even though they did have a sign by some cutoffs that this was the line for the movie. Need better manager and more staff for nights like last night. Too disorganized.
Was there during the week not packed. Enjoy the service for my popcorn and drinks. Server was very helpful. Will go again .Plenty of free parking
Love it . Great place & service
Theatre 10 has the old-school seats. Ive gotten spoiled with the new recliner
As far as the Philadelphia AMC that Ive been to, this one had always been my favourite. I pretty sure its because its connected to the mall. But with the adding of Wal-Mart not to fast from the theater and my wife obsession of caring around tote bags as a purse makes me want to pick this theater over an other that my me closer to wherever I am. Service from the front counter to the food services have always been good to me. Ive met the managers a few times because hes around helping the staff. So go place
You enjoy your movie and eat
Outdated but cheap and does the trick. Needs an update but overall not bad
Recliners are very nice and good food
Eh, IMAX was incredible but the room was hot, no air flow and the snacks stand ran out of soda and then their computer systems crashed. Movie was good though
The movie was great they need to update the theater. ASAP
The workers were very helpful
Nice, clean theater. Made us on the spot members to receive immediate discounts on the movie we were seeing. Almost 1/2 off!!! Good deal...
Horrible!!! Come to watch a movie with my kids and they are hungry and the cashier have the nerves to say she isn’t serving hot food because she has to make popcorn! Never again!
Movie theater was clean however they are usually short staffed. One person in the ticket booth most days; self serve kiosks are never working; limited staff for concessions. Staffing issues cause long wait times before you can get your seats. Plan to arrive early.
