Nice quiet place. Saw people catching fish, jogging walking and biking. No heavy foot traffic or busy with vehicles. Free parking. We enjoyed looking at all the gigantic yachts parked here. A nice place to stop and admire the water. There is a restaurant here that looked good. We had stopped here after a very early breakfast elsewhere so it wasnt open yet. Will try in the future.
Cool and interesting historical spot on the water. The small park setting is beautiful. A nice statue, and many plaques that explain the settlement of Pensacola. We always enjoy a time when you can learn and have fun at the same time. Pensacola has a deep history, and this landmark adds to a wonderful, rich learning experience
I liked it here because you could walk down and see all the boats close up. The area is nice and clean. Also the port is across the way and you never know what ships are going to be there. A lot of people fish in the area.
It was beautiful, peaceful and serene. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and friendly. The view was breathtaking.
Might be under construction, probably hurricane damage. Is likely beautiful when in full glory
Me and my kids favorite hangout spot in town! We walk the dog, watch birds enjoy a good breeze!! I cant wait for fall!!
Beautiful park with a lovely view of the water! Easy to walk to from down town Pensacola. You can also fish from it if that interest you. There is ice cream near by to walk the area with a sweet treat. If you play pokemon go, it has three stops and a gym.
Nice place to come and view the water. Great walkway, fishing, marina, walking pier. Splash pad for the kiddos, an ice cream joint and a nice restaurant. There are plenty of benches but also plenty of doves and seagulls that leave lots of poop. Maybe more often Cleaning is in order.
Went there to play. Website says open 11am. 1130 still no water. They could of posted it wasnt open on Labor day. Kids very disappointed. Sad sad
Beautiful small park with a great view of the bay. Also very informative statue with founding history of Pensacola.
I love the scenery, not to sound rude but the homeless sleeping around there is a turn off. But I just mind my business
Love the atmosphere..... very family friendly
Nice place on the waterside that used to be a public hall, but is now an open public park. Free parking and a few signs with descriptions. Funniest thing is that the open fountain area with water jets had a maximum occupancy sign. For an area largely without borders (open paths without doors and a border that was maybe 24 inches high), we wonder how one would count to determine if maximum occupancy were reached, and whether a few people would have to take one step away from the center to reduce the number. Plus, if maximum occupancy signs are to ensure evacuation can take place in case of fire or emergency, we wondered how that would apply with a fountain of water coming from the ground...
Beautiful place to take a walk and enjoy the scenery. There are rows of yachts in assorted sizes, shapes and colors. Perfect place to enjoy a good sunset as it reflects across the water.
Trying my hand in photograph thought this place would bring some light to my new found passion
Its a good place for walk and you can see birds and the see.
Beautiful views, very relaxing. Great place to go and just soak in the salt air and think.
Brought my son to the splash pad and he had a blast. It was a Tuesday so it wasn’t too busy, there are a couple of other kids playing around. I just wish there are gates for keeping the kids from running out as there’s a good traffic around the park. Great view as well, it’s close to the marina and there are shops around the park.
Double pokemon go gyms and lots of poke stops

Had a great time here. Early Sunday morning I went magnet fishing. Water was about 21 feet deep. I found a few trinkets.Area was neat and clean and very well maintained. Even on a Sunday morning there was a city employee cleaning up.A wonderful place to just unwind.
I just love to look at the water and the birds .
This is one of the nicest spots in Pensacola. Great views, a couple of food options, and water fun in the summer for kids.
Really neat monument and area. The views are really cool!
Great downtown. Walk and enjoy the restaurants
Beautiful spot to take a walk or bring a fishing pole.
Beautiful little spot with a ton of really nice boats.
Very relaxing and a good place to fish.
Relaxing place to walk around.
Nice area to walk on the pier! Great view, but no restrooms are open late.
This enormous memorial shipping Boat was once a master of the sea. Now its used for space research. now thats what I call a creatively changed idea of progress from Ocean to Space.
Nice space by the water. Great for an evening stroll.
Love being on the water. Very peaceful
Nice area with clean streets and many good restaurants, I was here during Navy/Tallships week
Such a wonderful facility. I am here for the 5th Annual Cardiovascular Symposium and it is just absolutely phenomenal
Love the view Im a photographer so I take pictures everytime I am here
Beautiful place by Marina and get ice cream.
Its a great place to relax and eat ice cream
Love this place for seaside rest area. Where locals and tourists alike can feed the pigeons and seagulls that hang out here. A great fishing area! Also check out the giant ship that Jeff Bezos apparently owns and is working on for future plans.
Great place to sit for lunch.
Beautiful hope someone does not remove or topple
Nice area! Great place to observe some local sea birds
Love to drive down look at water and pigeons
What a lovely time
Great place to take a stroll in downtown Pensacola with great views of the bay.
Interesting...like and comment if you agree. What do you know about this statue
Scenic view of the bay.
Nice spot with a splash pads for kids. They have a awesome snack bar there as well. I had the loaded fries and it was well worth the 6 dollars. The girls working there arw super friendly and helpful.
Very very beautiful if visiting or a local a must see with its great beautie and rich history.
Pleasant site to stroll and enjoy the weather and scenery. Great views, clean, safe, kid-friendly. The simple/basic splash pad is fun for the kids during the summer.
Peace and beautiful area to walk
A very awesome place to see
Its pretty on this spot. Limited parking tho.
Beautiful place. Spectacular views. I highly recommend this monument and the surrounding area of South Palafox Street to both locals and visitors. Its worth the drive downtown.
This is a nice place to come and wind down take in the fresh Bay air and enjoy the water view. Also a splash pad for the kids to enjoy while feeding the Many Pensacola chickens ( Pigeons) lol
A great place to enjoy the breeze from the water, to fish and bring the kids. Its downtown so its super convenient when you want to sit and cool off from all the walking around. There are places to eat or just grab a drink.
A cool place to walk.
Nice place to visit. There are several restaurants near by which is nice before or after taking in some fresh air.
Amazing memorial to all of our veterans!! Thanks Pensacola for doing this!!!
Very pretty and has that small coastal town vibe during the day and I imagine the night life here is even better
AWSOME view & Food geo cache
Nice place to walk and see ocean
Nice place for photos, fishing, and a peaceful deep breath!
Watch fireworks everyone was clap and have good time ..
Great views of the Blues practices. Love the small places close by to get a quick bite. Fun to watch kids splash in the fountain on a hot day. You can even watch the fireworks when the Wahoos win the game.
A great place to sight see, and by the way there is A lot of history that was made here...
Lot of advertising about being docked and available for tour at 10:00 am. Drove down to visit and surprised it was so small. If was after 10 am but had a chain across & not open. Crew was on deck cleaning but never a knowledged us. Left disappointed
Beautiful spot to come look at the water and reflect on life. Awesome ice cream shop near too.
Its a great place to cool off the kiddos! We bring our granddaughter & she loves playing in the fountain. So do I honestly LOL
I love going here with my kids. They love going to play in the water. There are always other kids there for them to play with.
Very nice spot to hit on a hot Florida day. You have a small restaurant right next to it for burgers, ice cream, drinks, etc. Then u have a larger full blown restaurant on the other side. Plus, on hot days they have a water fountain where you can bring the whole family to and play in the water.
Learn some history while having an ice cream cone and enjoying the view. Just be careful of the sky rats.
We often spend our Saturday morning downtown. We typically park on garden street and stroll the farmers market before walking down to this area to look out over the water. Condos, one restaurant, an ice cream store, and some ground level professional offices all in the area.Only negative for some might be that there are usually homeless in the area...... and often several flight squadrons of pigeons. Up side is that we often see pelicans or great blue herons up close---I assume there are there hoping for scraps from fishermen that work the water off the pier.
Very dirty gone down hill so much
Great views and good place to take a walk, then head up Palafox to eat at one of the many restaurants. Finding parking can be hit or miss, and sometimes frustrating; usually you may have to park further up Palafox or Jefferson and walk down if you want to head down to the pier area.
Its a lovely memorial to the City of Pensacola. It stands proud at the end of the Pensacola Pier, has a good view of the bay, and also has restaurants and a place to buy ice cream. Summertime they have the water park going for little kids
I love visiting this area during the day or evening, lovely views of the water and wonderful dining at Jacos as well.
A popular outdoor activity area. Common to see fishermen, yoga and exercise classes, groups taking pictures, and just nice to take a walk and view the bay, port, and yacht club.
Wonderful place to visit and sit and enjoy a good conversation with a stranger or friend.
Dont know just pass in front of there
Great place. Does not smell of cigarettes or booze. Kids have fun when they go and staff are friendly.
Wonderful history and beautiful views.
Best ice cream in town with a beautiful seating area. Very friendly and helpful staff too.
Great place to take the kids to party in the splash pad, just what there was some kind of shade structure for parents.
Beautiful and well taken care of.Im not a military person but I admire the bravery of those who defend the country.
Its all right
Fun place to hang out with the familyLots of activities all around. Pensacola has done a great job making downtown a fun place to go. Whether you are looking for family fun or to go out for adult entertainment, this is the place to be.
This is such a fun little place where people bring their kids to play in the water fountains and they have a blast. Make sure to bring swimwear for them, I forgot and had to return to with my little one.
Beautiful and historic. Great spot for lovely sunset. With amazing Jaco restaurant so close too.
A place everyone should go visit and pay their respects to all the great people who gave their lives for our freedom.
Nice view monument and good place of dating someone.
Great place to walk and for family
