Absolutely beautiful park. One of my favorites in the tri cities

Beautiful park been coming here almost all my life. Great for kite flying, walking, picinicing or rock collecting. Saw a large spider right near river right on water line perched on a rock... Creepy big but he didnt bother me at all just found him interesting to watch.

Love love this place. Perfect for sunset. Peaceful and great for the kids to play in the playground. Im thinking the best spot in Pasco.

Went there to play with my camera. Scenery is beautiful, trees were in bloom, water was gorgeous. The path is really nice and there are a lot of space to have fun with big or little groups. I dont have kids but the play area looked nice too.

Aging park that still has some charm. The east side of the park is better for playing, west for picnicking and gatherings.

Nice walking trails, meets up with the bike trail over by court street from rd 100. There is a playground. Birds nearby. Big trees in certain areas. Good for a long walk next to the river.

It was lovely to sit in the shade and have a lunch with a friend. The table was a rare find but understandably..

Great swimming areas, lots of grass and shade and the water is SO clean. But that current is deadly, be safe!!

Too many people crowded fishing... not much room to cast a line.

Took my granddaughter to fly her first kite...was awesome..

Incredible location but so much wasted potential. Would love to see them add a decent playground area, skate park, tennis courts, landscape/clean up all the way to the water, food stand, maybe even a water splash zone for kids. There are so many things that could be done here to liven the place up. As it stands, it is a sleepy little patch of grass and trees. I’ll spend my time and money at Howard Amon Park in Richland.

Good place for the kids to play, not the best but good. Great views and access to the Columbia River.

Love sitting by the river and watching the activities whether it be squirrels, birds or people its very relaxing.

It was wonderfur! Although they need yo water the grass more so much of it was yellow and Brown.

Very nice and clean park. An excellent playground for kids. Id give it 5 stars except the bathrooms were closed and they only had one outhouse for a summer weekend. Needless to say it was as disgusting as one could imagine. Also there were too many wasps by the water which ultimately kept us from getting in on a hot day.

Nice and peaceful!

There is walking/bike path that runs along the river for miles. Great place to walk your dog. You can sit on the dock to the West of the park or swim in the river. You can launch your boat from the dock on the East side of the park.

Good park but their bathroom was out of order and thankfully they had a porta-potty and it was disgusting! Completely full and so dirty. I would have preferred there be no bathroom at all than one so gross!

This is one of Pasco’s parks that they keep nice and green an they maintain it very well it has a new playground for the kids to play on and it sits along the river. It’s a very nice place for a family outing for fun.

Muh kids had fun on the toys. Best playground in the city, I think. Wish there were more hiking trails, with more trees.

This is an absolutely beautiful Park. They have an amazing playset for kids with this spongy ground underneath. The place is very serenewith a lot of shade trees and it is perfect for large groups getting together.

Beautiful, been going there for years with dog. Never overcrowded. Would love to get in and clean up that arboratum though.

This park is a great place to relax and enjoy the company of friends and relatives. Great park!

This park has some beautiful old trees, a great playground and convenient boat docks. We have enjoyed using the covered picnic area for group gatherings over the years. This morning we, along with many others, took advantage of the biking/walking path and were pleased to see that horseshoe pits have been added. The park will be even better once the Army Corps of Engineers returns the property to full local control.

Came here to play volley ball with the family. It could use more seating around the play ground and down by the water as well as a volleyball net in the court. Otherwise its a great park!

The park equipment was nice but there was trash everywhere. There were at least 10 trashbags overflowing next to the covered picnic area. I had to pick up crushed energy drink cans and plastic wrapers out of the playground. Why are people nasty?

Took the pup to play in the river. She enjoyed it. Theres a small playground and benches throughout the park as well as the bike trail that takes you to richland.

Nice park quite and peaceful most of the time. Seems as few know about it. Not a fancy place and doesnt offer much otherbthsn it does sit next to the river snd the river walk/bike path

It is a nice Park that has a boat launch when you first enter, and when taking a quick right hand turn and follow down to the other part of the Park that has a playground that is awesome for the youngens with a spongy type of play area no bark or other type of stuff that the babes could get hurt from. Plus it has a picnic area that is covered that you can keep an eye on love of your life a lot of trees for relief from the heat of the sun.

Great park but I wish they would have built the play ground under the shade of those great trees instead of under the scorching sun.

The play ground equipment was fun for the kids and there was lots of room to bike or run. There was, however, only one swing for small kids/toddlers, which was a frustration for multiple mothers. Also, the bathrooms were locked.

The area under the trees is great but there is a small pole that one of the structures broke off of. It needs fixed so its not a hazard.

Great park but it would be nice if the city of Pasco would water the grass (to keep away stickers) better. The park has a lot of unrealized potential simply because the city doesnt adequately maintain the property it owns.

Simply put, its a lovely place to visit. There is something for everyone here, at every age. Whether you want to meditate, play croquet, fish, bike ride, take a photography class, canoe, bird watch or have a family reunion in the beautiful grass under a shade tree... you have the best if the best of places to be.

Its okay, except its really sketchy gives off a bad vibe.

This park is probably my favorite in Tri Cities. Open and spacious, yet lively and fun.

Beautiful park. Very clean. Inviting. Gigantic trees provide shade. Adorable kids parks dot the greenbelt. Direct access to welcoming water. What mare do you need from a park? Oh-- there are also frequently many dogs to pet, although I recommend steering clear from the Geese; theyre not so friendly.

My kids love this park. At first we went to the park by the boat ramp. Then we were told about the park with more toys to play on at the West End. What a pleasant surprise! Take a right when you enter the park instead of going straight and you will find a great place for the kids to play, walk your dog and enjoy the view.

Chiawana is a lovely park that is well maintained. Popular area for families and get togethers. We have used this park for the last 30 years. Always a fun time with the playgrounds, bike path and eating area.
