The museum is currently closed but the park is beautiful. Cool to see where the Snake and Columbia Rivers meet
Beautiful park. You do have to pay to get in, $10 day pass or free for a year with $30 discover pass, but you can buy the discover pass at the interpretive center. Also, since you have to pay the park is pretty quite almost private. The interpretive center is really neat, the layout is pleasant and the staff are friendly and informative, and they seem to have a number of public events. The park bathrooms were unkempt but, they had the essentials.
Beautiful park! Love visiting here
Beautiful park bordered on two side with a river. This weekend every year is Heritage Days with people dressed for the period an native American also. The dance to drums they play. Also people step up exhibits of knaping and wood carving they also show how to do them.
Cute little Hidden Gem that we didnt know about we just stopped to walk around the park the Rangers are really nice and helpful and I suggest anybody if they have time to check it out
Exceptional stop. Mary was a wonderful guide/interpretive center staff. Fantastic fall day to view the river.
A lot of history in the self tour/gift shop, just make sure you check the hours before you drive two and a half hours to get there. ;D
Beautiful park bordered on two side with a river!
The park itself is OK, well kept, but nothing super special. The interpretive center, on the other hand, is fantastic and was staffed by friendly, helpful volunteers (those are the people that make our state parks possible, thanks!) The exhibits were intriguing and well presented.Well worth stopping by.
A bit cold today, but very nice park
Really well done displays. Lots of history without being overwhelmed.
Nice little park. Fishing docks boat launch swimming beach picnic areas all over and a neat little museum.
Very interesting for lewis and Clark history.
The interpretive Center in the Museum Sacagawea was very good and its a beautiful Park right on the Columbia River
Nice park with an area to swim in the Columbia River. However Beware of the mosquito in the grass. Parking fee
Kids were fascinated with the interactive displays and everyone gets the benefit of learning about indeginous cultures that sometimes are taken for granted. Great place
Great place to go. Lots of cool information and great staff.
The confluence of the Snake and Columbia rivers. Great park for kids, dog walking, enjoying the sun. The interpretive center is top notch.
Enjoyed my weekend during the Heritage Center Days. A lot to look at. The bathrooms were very well kept.
Great place to check it out. Lots of cool history and stories to read or hear about it. Amazing stuff inside and worth your time to see for yourself. Took my kids here for easter egg hunt (we had to cancled plans with family and friends since our kids were getting over their colds). I took the kids to the beach as my husband hides the eggs. Kids hunts their eggs and had lunch afterwards with the picnic tables that was filled with spiders and spider webs, but we mannaged our way to eat then check out the Museum. Kids had a blast & got a cool bag from there too.
Open both bathrooms
Very good,go see it.
Be sure to look for the special events happening in the spring summer and fall. Theres a very active support group for the park. Theyre always looking for good volunteers to help out in their special events. Of particular note are the upcoming ones in June and September.
Swings but no other play structures which is why it’s not 5 stars. Fun and informative with the little museum, and not too busy, which makes this a quiet park to play in the water or the sand.
It has some interesting history to read about.
Clean fun entertaining and lots of historical facts
This is a Fun museum and a must if you never been, Very educational
Very interesting place to visit. Good historic exhibition in the visitor center.
Always a joy visiting this place. It brings back awesome memories from visiting as a kid.
Cool place to stop by on a road trip. Beautiful location.
Awesome museum, and great place to capture Fall Season!
Great place for a family day away from the hustle of the cities
Great burgers and ice cream. Been stopping there for years.
Milfoil Milfoil, every where
The Sacajawea Interpretive Center is small but tells more about Sacajaweas role in the Lewis and Clark expedition than most other expedition sites that I have visited.
Enjoy the park. Beware of bee and wasp.
Gets great experience everytime!
Awesome!
