A great place to watch a football game. Obviously, this is an iconic stadium. But being there in person is the best way to understand the feeling of this place in sports history. Although the stadium has been around a long time, it is very well maintained. The staff are very friendly, and they manage the crowds coming in efficiently.Go Bruins!

This was a great getaway oh, there was a nice variety of food trucks and some sweet treats. The music was good and Jack FM was there rocking out some songs oh, perfect whether it was a really nice afternoon. I had hoped to find a couple of unique Foods offered and that is the only reason Im not giving a full five stars because I pretty much found standard food on almost all the trucks.

A great fireworks show! The independence day celebration in Rose Bowl has a style of its own. With the Acapella band and vocal artists the evening started slowly. Eventually we reached for the main attraction the fireworks show! With lovely selection of fireworks and great narrative it was a wonderful experience! But the queue management was not very good! The baggage claim was slow! Try not taking any bag with you! Small purse is fine!

Honest Review: While I completely understand and can appreciate the history and tradition of this stadium and the Rose Bowl, and my team did win the Rose Bowl the year I visited...This stadium, when full for a game, is HORRIBLY cramped and crowded. This experience alone took most of the thrill of the game away for me.Even hours before the start of the game, the lines for everything, especially food and bathrooms and even getting to your own seats, took 40 to 60 minutes. I am not a claustrophobic person, but at the Rose Bowl, I started to feel the anxiety of being shoved in a small place with ~90,000 other people. To make matters worse, both my children attended (both under the age of 8). Highly recommend you do not take your kids. The long lines and endless waiting are not made for them at all (especially if they were awake at 5 AM to get to their seats to watch the Parade that same morning).Pasadena is beautiful, of course, but I recommend you dress in layers you can continually add as the air temperature will go from “maybe I should have worn shorts” warmth to “my one jacket is definitely not enough” cool. All in all, I’m incredibly grateful and blessed to have had the opportunity to attend a Rose Bowl once in my life, but after the experience I had, I would never attend again if my team ever goes back to Pasadena. A win for my team is a win, no matter the location. We don’t have to shove ourselves into a sardine can of a stadium simply for history’s sake.(Sorry diehard sports fans!)

I also would recommend doing the stadium tour if you find yourself in the area the day before or the day after the game! We drove here by to the Rose Bowl to park and take the shuttle to the Rose Bowl parade viewing on Sierra Madre to watch the floats where they parked after the parade for people to see them. This is an awesome thing to do because you can see the floats very close and check all details the way they built them with flowers and seeds. You have to be there to experience something that you cant believe how much details, work and efforts they put every year. I recommend everybody to go and the floats in person, if you cant make it to the Rose parade, go the next day for the viewing.

Only knowing about The Rose Bowl from what I have seen on TV I was excited about seeing it during a band competition. It is quite a let down. This old stadium has seating sized for people who are 5 tall and the slope is so flat in the bowl the upper seats are a great distance from the field. Finally, there is only one road into the place so traffic is horrible. It is a pretty setting though being up against the mountains.

Very memorable experience. Be prepared to wait in long lines for food and restrooms. The Rose Bowl is iconic, but getting out of date. Everyone was friendly and helpful so the experience was great. There is not a bad seat in the house. If possible sit on the south side so you can have your back to the sun. Parking was easy. Just get there early enough. I cant wait to go back!

Rose bowl is fun, but kinda old. The seats are very fare away from the field, since its a bowl. Parking is kind of a war zone. They have you park on the golf course, and then its a free-for-all at the end of the event, with cars going every which way.

Had a concert there years ago. Spent $400 on tickets, and when I contacted the rose bowl about parking, and other fees, they said there isnt any parking fee or anything extra. When I arrived for the concert, I found out the they lied, and the cheapest parking was $30 (which I only had $20 left over to get me back home) which ultimately made me turn around and go home, wasting the money I just spent on the concert. I have sent multiple emails about getting a refund over the last 3 years, and got nothing back. Ill never waste my money on a concert here again. LA is filled with nothing but thieves.

There is not a bad seat in the stadium, so if youre thinking like I did that I had to get the best seats...you really dont. You can see the stadium from anywhere, but I would stay away from Section 1, 2 and 28H because that is where the enemy sat in the game I saw. Also avoid the area behind the field goals if you dont want a ball to possibly hit you. I sat in the Alumni Section in Section 22L for a disappointing blowout by Fresno State, but the atmosphere I know from previous experiences can be loud and exciting. Great stadium, Go Bruins!!!

Let’s just say if I could give a negative review and still leave a comment I would. I drove 6hrs from Arizona to accompany my dad to the Barça vs Tottenham game. Upon my arrival my sisters and I had a tragic time. I had to witness them getting yelled at by security to go check in their bags cause they were not clear and “too big”. We kept getting bad directions by staff on what we should do and kept getting yelled at! We had some security tell us we come through their gate and after standing in line they told us we were a the wrong gate and we need to get out of their line. My guy you’re the one that called us over here on the first place?! Their manager then got in my face and yelled that we need to move! I told her to please tell her staff to get it together and they were the ones misguiding people she did not apologize for being in the wrong. It was so disorganized! We missed the first half of the game! The worst came when it was time to pick up your purse! There was no control whatsoever and not enough staff to hand back hundreds of bags and a riot like mob started to form it was a very intense scary situation and I will NEVER be returning!

It’s highly enjoyable to tailgate at the Rose Bowl and to root on the home team. Go Bruins! There are frequent shuttles on game day leaving from Pasadena if you don’t want to drive. There are shuttles also leaving from the UCLA campus. I wish there were more student entrances than just the one, it made for a lot of walking when we took the shuttle. Check the website beforehand to know all the rules of what you can and cannot bring in. A clear bag or backpack is a must. Go Bruins!

If you are a college football fan, this is one of those stadiums you must go to a game at at least once in your life. I am from the east coast and always dreamed of being at the Rose Bowl game on a New Years Day. While New Jersey is frozen that time of year, the pics of palm trees and green grass at the rose bowl always seemed so very far away. With family in Los Angeles, I have now been able to attend 2 games there, A UCLA vs Stanford game (The Rose Bowl is UCLAs home field) and the grand daddy of them all, the actual Rose Bowl a few years back USC vs Penn State. The area surrounding the Rose Bowl is also great to visit on a non game day. There are parks with softball fields along with a golf course (They use the golf course for parking an game days). There is also a designated running/walking track around the Rose Bowl and adjacent golf course (approximately 3 mile loop.)
