Im new to the area so I ventured out to this market and Im glad I did, there were so many options to choose from. My wife went to Sticky Rice and loved their pad thai! My son got an entire pizza and devoured it! This is a great place to meet up friends, who all have different flavor palettes because there is something for everyone.
During this time or corvid-19. Coming to this park relaxes me. It calms me down with the peaceful surrounding of the trees, shade, friends spending time together. You can still here laughter in a moment of time which is so serious. But Life will continue, but better not taking for granted a more simpler Life.
The Rose bowl Flea market is (I believe) only one weekend a month. I was not at the Rose Bowl on a weekend. Therefore I was not at the Flea Market. This sort of confusion makes me long for artificial intelligence or at least some kind of intelligence.
Attended a Lakers Drive In to watch Lakers vs Indiana on a BIG screen in the parking lot. Social distancing was in effect and event was well coordinated. Restrooms were clean and social distancing was checked. Hope to do it again.
Best flea market so far, from vinyl records to antique stuff.
Love this flea market. You will find EVERYTHING!!! Many of the vendors are willing to answer questions and youll find many gems!
Beautiful first time ever there and first time jogging since 2003 when I was in fire camp I went with a friend to jog for skid row drifters I Love it and the people that due that ever week they are people to look up to Thank you and love you all️️️
Currently closed. When open its ok. Entry fees range from a hefty $9 up to a crazy $25 for super early entry. Vendors are mostly professional junk collectors and sell items at a premium. I prefer the PCC Flea Market. Its free, has about a quarter of the vendors of the Rose Bowl, but many are first time sellers just looking to sell items from their garage to make a few bucks, not gouge you like the vendors at the Bowl. Plus PCC has a section of about 50 vinyl record vendors which is great to browse though for nostalgia.
As my friend says, its like an outdoor goodwill, so you dont get the musty smells. Are you spending an arm and leg on stuff you can get for a few dollars at Goodwill? Probably! But the goods are always unique and there are also almost always celebrities if thats your thing.
Love love love the rose bowl. I go mainly for the 3 mile loop.
This place is awesome. First time coming since I moved from NYC. Immediately after arriving, I bought my first pair of antique elephants. For the most part, prices seem reasonable, however, the sellers don’t know the provenance of a lot of times since they’re purchased from an estate sale. Amazing selection of everything - rugs, clothing, Americana, pieces from all over the world.Price of admission is a bit steep, but vary depending on what time you arrive:“We have a special preview VIP admission from 5:00am – 7:00am at $20.00 per person, early bird admission from 7:00am – 8:00am at $15.00 per person, express admission from 8:00am – 9:00am at $12.00 per person and general admission beginning at 9 am for $9.00 per person. Children under 12 are admitted free with an adult.”I also suggest you park in the “free” section and just walk-in.If you’re serious about buying, bring a hand cart. You don’t want to lug heavy items around by hand. Also be prepared to bring lots of cash, they don’t take cards for admission, and most sellers don’t either. There are ATM’s on site.
The Rose Bowl Flea Market is the largest flea market in the western united states. You wont find your typical swap meet merchandise here. This place us a vintage shoppers dream. Youll find vintage clothing, furniture, records, home-made items, rustic arts and crafts, toys from the past, youll find anything that was made before 1990 here. Be sure to arrive early to have as much time possible to see everything available to purchase and to get a good parking space in the lot in front of the Rose Bowl. Admission is only $9.00 for adults. The Rose Bowl Flea Market is also an great place to do more people watching.
Always an amazing treat to be invited to the Rose Bowl!
The cash only entry is a bit ridiculous and parking is generally terrible but still a nice place to spend a day. Hard to not find at least one good thing!
Nice place to walk.
High traffic for sellers. Many unique goods. Fun for all
So many priceless stuff inside. Perfect place to get inspired. Fun place to go thrift shopping. Good place to get a Sunday exercise. Worthy of a place to spend your money.
This place is huge. You can definitely spend a good amount of time here just browsing and browsing and browsing. There are a plethora of amazing vendors ranging from everything from furniture to ceramics to vintage clothing to records to light fixtures to art etc etc etc. There are a ton of parking lots and street parking, the worst case is you have to walk a lil farther. But you are already walking a bunch inside the flea market so a few extra steps aint gonna kill you.Its a great place to find unique pieces of furniture to give a little pop to your home. Bring cash and haggle!
Ello,Im out of state.ive came across this .When do they open? Time frame ?
Please was a cool first time experience but this was no where near flea market prices more like retail.
Great deals and amazing antique finds.
You never know what you will find here! Always something different, and so many vendors! You can come shop as early as five in the morning, which avoids the summer heat and the larger crowds after 8:00 am.
NICE. VERY NICE
Great

Beautiful!!
Great experience
Leaving this just to offset the 1-star review left which is a little unfair to the Rose Bowl Flea Market as a whole. This place is awesome. Worth the monthly hour-long drive to get to as it really has a good mix of old, really old, new, and handmade. All of the sellers Ive talked to so far are really nice, helpful, and usually willing to negotiate. The space is massive and hard to get through in less than a few hours and without pure exhaustion st the end but it is, so far, my favorite flea market Ive been to. Try /not/ to buy something(good luck)
The Rose Bowl Flea Market does NOT disappoint. Trying to see everything will be exhausting, but well worth your time. I find it to be unparalleled in its diversity. The vendors run the gamut from professional antiques dealers, artisans, hobbyists, weekend garage sellers, craftsmen of all types, entrepreneurs promoting products theyre passionate about, sometimes, even their own inventions, everything vintage, everything new. Its a joy to attend, and better with a like-minded friend!!
Always A Great Time
Tim is the manger and he is great. The rose bowl is a great place

Dose anyone know if I can find out beautiful handmade carpet there?
Had a very bad first time experience today due to a cheating and lying seller (at lot Z2), but with a somewhat good ending: Thanks to my insistence on a refund and also the market managers objective handling of the matter,I was refunded for faked amber stuff I bought after 1 to 1.5 hours of arguments. In short, 10min after I purchased fake amber from the woman seller, I realized it with others help. All through the buying process, the seller kept saying they are real good amber, but when I came back ten minutes later, she changed her face and lied in my face that I bought them 2 hours ago, and told you all selling are final. If I still had some suspecions or guilty feelings at all, they evaporated immediately after I heard her lies in my face. When I left trying to find a police and eventually the security and market manager, she came to the booth to stop me from doing so, offering me to refund part of the money. I refused and told her: even if you refund me in full, or I lose all the money, I am still going to report your fraudulent business behaviors! The manager came and evetually she refunded me in full (she still wanted to kept at least 10%). The manager is a nice man, telling me this is expected at any flea market and her behavior like I explained is unethical but legal. I do not know the legal part, but I thank him for his help, and I can not rate this market very low because of this and because I indeed met more good honest dealers here. I do have my own share of responsibilities, but below are what upset me the most:- First of all: She indeed lied about her fake stuff, while honest dealers would say those are not real (sterling), or I do not know. You have to make yoir own judgement, or orally warning buyers all sales are final if not showing a sign as such pre-posted. They do not intentionally lie about their stuff. I had similar refund experiences twice before with honest dealers at the Long Beach flea market, and the sellers did not hestitate to refund me nor lied to me as this woman.- Second: she lied to me in my face when I requested politely for a refund just 10 min later, which literally confirmed she is a truly lier! She initially left to find the security or police given my insistence, then came back only with a paper sign of all sales are final --she then posted it and claimed it was always there. In reality she never mentioned to me during the selling. She upset me so much that I was determined to have her exposed to the public, or at least to the Flea Market management, if they do care about the markets general reputation.- Third: when she tricked me earlier, she claimed most liers are mid-eastern or Chinese like me (I did not argue because I indeed admit some fellow Chinese cheated on me), definitely not Europeans (like her as a Russian Jew, as she claimed). And her stuff was so precious and real that she had a lot of trouble to get then out of Russia!! I had so many good Jewish friends that I easily believed her.A good lesson. Yet if everyone fights with those ugly people rather than gave up easily, we can make the society a much better one!
