Pretty cool local place for a family semi-hike. We entered on the side across from the high school. Went south around the path over a small bridge then over the dam and down to the end. We had to turn back and re-trace are route to get back to the car. Parts were scenic with JPL in the backdrop. Kids were able to finish. There is more to see but we didnt explore the path that leads to the Rose Bowl. Parking was tight can fill up quickly.

What a beautiful hike especially after it rains! Many of the trails have been closed so you cant take your usually ways but it is really wonderful to walk all the way round the part.

Clearly the best park in the city. Its massive and offers tons of sweet treasures. Every time I go there, I find something new and wonderful. Great place for picnics, although due to the location, sun can be scarce. The only downside is hippy hill where nonstop drum circle actions seems to be had. I can hear it every day from my balcony.

Great hikes to do with family, easy to social distance and frisbee golf is super fun.

The Dam is under contractions. I am sure after it is completed it will be better than before.

Nice local park near LA Cañada Flintridge and Altadena. Lots of great hiking trails and bike paths too, they have a big open lawn for sports. Plus they have a Frisbee course.

Right now this is a beautiful place to hike your dogs, go for a walk, ride your bike or just have a peaceful afternoon. There are lots of hiking trails and plenty of wildlife habitat to look at. Lots of Little Critters running around. A perfect place to take the dogs. Unfortunately, there are plans to dredge the whole thing and pull all of the nature out. This is planned to start in November. Please help support keeping this beautiful nature as it is. We dont want to lose our trails and wildlife habitat. Keep this place a five-star. It will become an ugly, open, flat dessert (one-star) if they go forward with the dredge plans.

Fun trail and park like setting green grassy field. There is a frisbee golf course here and picnic benches.

Very good course went on lunch break and was only able to get 10 holes in .... But and a BIG but hope you can throw lazers .. Very woody course, highly recommend

Park is great, however our car got broken into. Credit cards and phone was stolen. This is the second incident. Two weeks before my brothers car was vandalized in parks parking lot. They tried to break in but locks held. So when you go there keep your valuable items with you.

Great place for dog walking, hope they complete the Big Dig soon and fill partway with water from the creek.

I played disc golf here as a kid in the 90s, and you can still play free today (2020); how cool is that? The park is nice, clean and offers a ton to do. Ive seen everything from drone/rc displays to horseback riding. My boys preschool classes take field trips there when its warm and they love it. Great place, happy its well maintained.

Great area to bring dogs or take a hike. Further down the trail there are plenty of streams in a wash that are fun to run around in.

Small park with not too much going on, but there are some shady spots on the grass to picnic. They have some space for kids, sports & picnic tables as well.

Beautiful! There are some great disc golf holes, but some unkempt and hard to find. Overall, great place to picnic and take in nature.

Ive been coming here for years. Great place to bring your dog for a walk, Disc golf, or mountain bike riding up to Angeles Crest. Theyre making improvements to the area and should even be better than before.

Tight and wooded but fluid 21 holes of disc golf, stunning views of the San Gabriel mountains, awesome food nearby on Lincoln in Altadena.

Great place for disc golf and to take your dog for an adventure

Theres really a lot to do in this park. It has nice walking paths, places to barbecue, and big open areas to play baseball and soccer. It also has the worlds first disc golf course with baskets!

This is also know as Oak Grove Park. This is where the first disc golf course is located. The park is beautiful and a must to visit for disc golf fans.

Hahamonga is a great park tucked away in against the Angeles National Forest. It has plenty of great trails for enjoying a leisurely stroll or bike ride. Plenty of horse riders on the weekends. It also has access to some great hikes and mountain bike trails in Angeles National Park.

Its a nice park, but it gets busy and its easy to wander in to the path of a frisbee.

Beautiful and rustic park! My only issue with this park, the local high school that is directly across the street using the park for school parking! .This is a park, and not a parking lot for school use!..And the students take up most of the park spaces! ...

Great hiking, a place to be immersed in nature and still be in the city.

A beautiful and pleasant park but the surfaces of the two softball fields are so irregular that bad bounces are dangerous to fielders and depressions are ankle hazards to fielders and base runners. There are wilderness areas so rarely you could encounter a rattlesnake, even near the softball fields.

No playground. No sports. No nothing. Horrible park!!!!!!!!!+++++

Loved it. Awesome place to walk run play disk golf or soccer.

Theres all kinds of places to go on this Trail if you go all the way to Brown Mountain Dam youre looking at about 8 Miles round-trip but theres plenty of shade and youre right near the stream the whole way there are also several off-shoots that are small Switchback trails so I recommend this hike but bring water and snacks

Good place to hike with the whole family. Easy hike and goes around JPL. I bring my wife, 3 kids and my dog. They all love it because its EASY.

The great California outdoors. Is it any wonder why John Muir created the Parks. Just another example of a natural setting so close to the city.

This park has an excellent walking/running/bike trails. Check it out. You will love the trails. Nice shades along trails in the mid of hot/sunny days.

Attended an Easter sunrise service that was awesome and enhanced by the park setting.

It was a good place to play soccer no rocks everywhere and it was very pretty.

It beautiful here .

MACH1 is a great service, in this park area, for special need kids to ride horses and learn important skills

We met there for a mountain bike ride.

Really cool, big natural-ish area. I wish it could be preserved more as it currently is, with the majority of the native vegetation, but LA County DPW is going to make this place look a lot less natural and there would be biodiversity loss.

Awful. I love the park, but as a person with a service dog, all the dogs off leash are extremely dangerous to my well being. my dog has been attacked twice and ganged up on by a group of dogs. dont come here if you have scared dogs.

Once a refuge of lighthearted games of frisbee and BBQ. Has been co-oped by day care caravans. Formally known as Oak Grove Park. Over use has ground it to dust .

Great Public park with disc golf course.

I played in a softball league here every week from April to August. The grounds maintenance of the fields are abysmal and just downright unsafe with large, foot-sized holes everywhere. Both the fields barely have any grass in the outfield as well.
