Great wide open space. Filled with fresh air. Free. Accessible. Just wish I knew when I can park/visit without running into phantom events which block entrance. Are these scheduled? So that we may plan around them?
We had the Goat Yoga class with goats! The class was excellent! I was concentrating on the little and baby goats and I forgot about everything else!! The little goats are funny!! It was a great experience and I will definitely do it again!
Great for my 2-year-old son. He loved the excavator he could control, pony rides, and petting the goats. The playground and bounce-house the usual favorites, of course.
Its a fine park, good for letting the kids ride bikes. Obviously the fun police shut down the playground, but maybe once my kids are too big theyll open it back up.
Its my Hometown so I love it a beautiful place to be nice Scenery
Quiet except for a lot of traffic in and out of the aquatic center
Nothing but beauty. Clean, safe. Gotta visit
Sat and relaxed and enjoyed a beautiful day
Felt safe both day and night. Plenty of parking and would highly recommend people to check it out compared to many parks in LA.
Great second playground for the babies and loads of shade to sit in.
Aka Pirate park. Kids love it.
Fast drive through service!
They have a very good service very good customer service
I’ve been coming to this park since I was younger and I’m happy to say it hasn’t changed much. It’s a large park with plenty of open areas and trees for shade. Perfect for a picnic or taking the dog for a walk.
Lots of space, plenty of shade for picnics and great space for kids to run around and for activities!!
Great parking lot for practicing driving (when its empty) and the park is great for sports that need room like frisbee.
This is my home Pasadena, Brookside park this is the best Athletic park, The Rose Bowl the Aquatic center. The best
Great place to make a pitstop on a group ride
I love this park It has an awesome play area for kids with the foam mats! My kids aged 1-9 were well entertained. I love that its back into the establishment instead of right next to the street. It is a must see down by the Rose Bowl!
Wonderful picnic date spot (:
Lots of space. Still implement6feet and masks.Bike path, walking running, byceling, skating,Lots of grassy space. EXCERSISE
Enjoyed MANY years coming top this park as a kid growing up in Pasadena (for summer picnics, little league, cycling, swimming and more). Now, my wife and I still visit Pasadena and generally include a visit to Brookside to give our dog Harry a good walk and some play time. Its easily one of Harrys favorite parks.
Lovely tennis courts. Well maintained: no surface cracks, no frayed nets. Could use a bit more sweeping now and then.
Neighborhood parkIts beautiful and big
Lots to do here. The Rose Bowl, Brookside Golf Course, Kidspace Museum, the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center, playgrounds, soccer fields, baseball diamonds and more.Gets pretty full on weekends and if you park on the golf course, for a game or show, you can expect a long wait getting out due to traffic congestion. This is also the place to come view many of the Rose Parade floats while theyre being decorated.
LOVE this place. My daughter can play for hours. The only issue is that lately there have been drug users and dealers during the day time in the parking lot and on the hill side where the walking path is. Police should patrol the area
Very quiet at Brookside Park Friday afternoon. Beautiful scenic area. Being a rare quiet day because of Memorial weekend. Got a chance to visit with a good size brown white cotton tail rabbit.. mean while the Canadian Honkers are around the lake. Great place to take time out.
I am now 68 years old. I grew up in Pasadena and very close to Brookside Park. I played in the park all the time. There were vines that we swung on. The golf courses are wonderful. Has the best fireworks. Learned to swim in the plunge. I graduated in the Rose Bowl. My high school John Muir High played football in the Rose Bowl. I love the park. I have a lot of history with the park. Its a huge park. With a lot of shade trees. The baseball diamonds are convenient for pickup ball games. The tennis courts are great. All in all its my favorite park.
Best place to walk jog ride bikes around the 3 mile loop
Great for kids... great surface... also liked that they have created beach like area for them to play
Great family park. Dogs welcome too!
Pirate park is a great place to bring the kids and watch them run and play all over the place. There is a nice picnic area, space for walks.
Great park with a lot to do and explore. Good for kids of all ages.
Wonderful relaxing place great staff members
Beautiful place beautiful scenery to visit and relax
So much to do so little time. A go to favorite place to run and play in Pasadena whether youre coming for the flea or kidspace I dare you to walk past this amazing park without stopping to play
Very well kept and clean.
Had a wonderful time at the park with my grandson! They have 2 play areas, Kidspace learning center and a Aquatic Center and more!! Great place for families!!
Pirate themed park with lots of room and other activities, yes please. My boys absolutely loved it! Great play area with lots of room to run and tire out little legs, there was a lot of other things around to explore, but they didnt want to leave the pirate area lol
A bit hard to find on the first visit but has a great play structure! Bathroom doors face the opposite direction which can be a bit tricky as well. My kids always have tons of fun here.
Emplyees here are not nice, I was looking some shoes. No one came to ask if I was on need of any help, the lady almost push me, after that I left. I dont like thus place
Bueatiful place
Wonderful park with so much trees to sit under for shade, public restroom close by, huge parking and just so spacious for the little kids to run around. Theres also the Pasadena Aquatic Center next to Pirate Park and Kidspace Museum (which by the way is my sons most favored museum, filled with so much activities)
Brookside Park is a beautiful park where you can enjoy yourself outside with your family ! Go visit it !
Lots of fun stuff for the kiddos and even some shade. Go early because it can get busy.
Been going down they for years
Went to watch birds. Minimal area for that unless you hike up the trail. Looks like a lot of families use the area near the swimming facility for picnics, although this can easily cause crowding. Saw a lot of bikers and joggers in the area.
Solid place to play some rec league softball. The fields arent perfect, but I have yet to go to any park similar to this one that has immaculate fields. Nice location, near the Rose Bowl and Aquatic Center. Tennis courts seem to be pretty popular too.
They have a food cart that serve you all day.
Great place, there are spots for grilling/barbecue. Its a big place so its great for having family/friends gathering and plenty of benches and tables to setup.
Nice grass
Thats my home town park and I loved being there enjoying family and friends..
Nice walking trails, beautiful trees, tennis courts, pools, exercise stations, concrete walking paths, beautiful view of the mountains and hills and plenty of parking.
Quiet (during the week) place to enjoy nature
Very cool park, ADA approved! In the summer it can be a bit crazy but it is wonderful.
I feel like Im a little to big for this place, plus all the kids get in the way. Could be nicer with out all the kids.
I EXHORT therefore, that, FIRST of all, supplications, prayer, intercessions, and giving of THANKS, be made for ALL men, for kings, and ALL that are in AUTHORITY; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in ALL godliness and honesty. For THIS is good and acceptable in the sight of God ( Eze. 1:1-28 ...K.J.V. only ...no Pictures / Acts 17:29-30 ) our Saviour ( I Cor. 15:1-58; Phil. 3:+-21 ); who will have ALL men to be SAVED ( Eze. 2:1-3:27; 18:1-32; 33:1-33 ), and to come into the knowledge of THE TRUTH ( Dan. 10:21; John 14:6; I John 1:1-5:21 ). For there is One God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus!! ( I Tim. 2:1-5, and from Niles Livingston Sr., a servant, and an apostle of The Lord Jesus Christ / Galatians 1:1-6:18 ...K.J.V. exclusively ). ...Amen.
Im a member of the Pasadena Kennel Club and was a gate attendant for the annual dog show. It was a great dog show and we had over 900 entrees, one of our largest shows. Yeah for us!!
Today it was so peaceful.
Nice park no basketball courts.
Lots of parking a good and it has a playground for kids that are up to 10 it has a playground for kids a baseball field and the museum right across from the park benches to sit down and enjoy your lunch or picnic or family time its a nice area just watch your kids closely you never know
My kid cant get enough of this park, she loves it!..
The softball field lights are way too low and make playing at night a nightmare with balls getting lost in the lights. Field on the grass is scrappy and bad hop central. Other then that I love this park and play every week in the city league softball games. Just fix our field please.
This park is great, nice thats its across the street from the Rosebowl
Absolutely gorgeous and one of the best and most beautiful park in the Greater Los Angeles area!!! Tonnes of space and great infrastructure with tennis courts and aquatics center and more!!!!
Mello place to have a picnic while the little ones play.
Love this Park spent my childhood playing there
Very nice large park. Many activities are available here. I visit this park fairly regularly for an out of towner
Great for walking.
Cant leave Kids Space museum without stopping at this park which is on your way out. Nice place to rest while kids are at it.
Happy that we still have places like this to take our kids please people care for our planet and give a hand on keeping it clean and a
Plenty of spots to have a family picnic or birthday party...lots of shade.
Given its location, this flat terrain park is in great condition for being used so frequently. Nice layout and design.
This park is great! Its huge and has 3 play structures. Lots of space to run around, have a picnic, lots of parking.
Cool
Anything brookside is fabulous in Pasadena
Would have given it 5 stars, but the bathrooms leave something to be desired. The park has a considerable amount of shade compared to many other parks.
Hidden gem behind the Aquatics Center.Great pirate themed playground sway fun rocking boat and tons of swings. Theres also tons of picnic tables, a stage with lots of seating, and a hill for hiking. Also tons of flat paths for bike/ skate/ scooter riding!
Softball/baseball fields
Love this park, lots of family memories made here
Great golf course course #1 is really forgiving for bad shots. Always a great time
Very quiet and beautiful
