I have walked and driven on the Colorado St Bridge. I have driven by the Colorado St Bridge. Now I can walk under and picnic under the Colorado St Bridge at the Desiderio Neighborhood Park. Nice!
Great walk on bridge. Low traffic. Wish chain link fence was not there but guess suicide prevention is necessary. Grassy area by entrance is cool spot to stretch before walking bridge.
Beautiful scenery! Get out of your car and explore the trails around the area and other bridges near by. You can picnic at the park nearby.
April 14, 2020 The Colorado Street Bridge is an historic concrete arch bridge constructed in 1912 across the Arroyo Seco River bed, here in Pasadena, CA. The bridge also has the unholy moniker of SUICIDE BRIDGE Underneath the bridge is the most recent addition to the Pasadena Park Registry; Desiderio Neighborhood Park named after Captain Reginald B. Desiderio.
Nice little trail underneath the bridge. Great picture opportunity.
Always a nice place just to cruise through; only advice is be mindful of the residents
The bridge and lighting makes for a beautiful setting, but the wire mesh on the fence is sad.
A beautiful bridge with a dark and sad history. While there you might see and hear odd things. The bridge is claimed to be haunted by individuals who jumped and committed suicide.
Nicepark also arroyo trails. Look into history of bridge and tje whole area there used to be some kind of wooden bycycle highway or sumin?
A nice little clean park to stop and sit to rest after taking a walk around the neighborhood. The park is near the Colorado Stree Bridge.
Beautiful bridge design, 1 of the people with us felt a spirit stepping on his foot
Great place to sit and absorb the scenery
Beautiful little park
I like being under the other bridge more and looking at the Colorado bridge. Cool location for taking photos and never crowded.
I just wish they did not put that ugly fence blocking the bridges beauty
Great place for a night walk.
Nice spot for pictures that is tucked away to the side of pasadena. small little park underneath where lighting is nice, but still under construction for restrooms. lighting and scenery is nice with small parking lot
Historic beautiful in my own back yard
Sad you cant sit on the concrete arches but beautiful nonetheless
I believe this is the oldest bridge in this area & while its not used as much, most people get a better view while traveling the newer freeways & seeing it across the way. It is truly a beautiful structure & one of the prettiest bridges Ive ever seen. Viewed in lots of movies & also know to locals as suicide bridge. A uniquely classic site for an evening event; music, cars and people. Great views from a historic bridge.
This is a special one! Like many people I heard many stories about this bridge. I won’t call his nickname but let’s say many people experienced haunted stuff. One night me and my girlfriend went there to check it out ourselves -as sceptics-. All was good until we saw somebody far behind us walking in the same direction. A few seconds later that person was gone, although it was on the middle of the bridge, he could have never got off in that short time span. Also a weird cold spot was felt by my gf at a lighting pole, which started flickering a little later. Definitely some weird vibes there, but I love the place!
Beautiful Bridge! Great for photographers
Cool to take pictures at and they say its Haunted thats why its called the Suicide Bridge .
Beautiful bridge. Definitely check it out, and make sure you walk the Arroyo Seco, which takes you under the bridge.
Beautiful place to take a pic
Great location for a community event.
Very nice place to visit restrooms, park, pathway
Amazing. Views were awesome
The cops did “””not””” “””arrest””” me for trying to jump off but the fences are so tall :(
Great view ... good photography place
Very quiet urban hiking area.
Really cool bridge with a creepy history and disconcerting I jumped messages scrawled on it every so often. Can have some riff raff hanging around, so dont go solo! Very cool place to visit!
Idk its a bridge. And I was only under it. Lol
Peaceful break.
Nice walk
Beautiful place
It was raining but interesting nice bridge!
At the bottom of the bridge there is a trail. Many people who live near by run, walk and dirt bike. Its a nice place to go for a walk. But be aware a lot of mosquitos tend to be bother your peaceful walk or whatever activity you are going to do.
It was beautiful before the fence. Now theres no view that makes you feel the same classic feeling. Just another domino of the past falling in the endless waltz of modernization. Im glad I got to see it before the scar
Great place to view shops
They renovated and added a walking area under the bridge. It came out very nice.
Nice. If you are in Pasadena, take five minutes to have a look about it.
Very scary went at 12:30am
Nice to see the bridge from underneath at the recently added park.
This is an old bridge that has become famous for people jumping to their peril. They upped the security so that it is more difficult to do so, but people are still jumping, according to a neighborhood person I talked to recently. There is a new housing project development just under the bridge on the south side that makes it difficult to get a good view.
Interesting bridge. We drove around at differing angles
Nice bridge where you can take great shots. Walking path.
Great place to take pics
Great place to see the fireworks from the Rose bowl on July 4th
Wonderful hike.
Such a beautiful structure to see. Lush landscaping about it. Historical.
Cool bridge to jump off of
First time Ive actually gone to the park below the bridge.
Very calm place to take pictures with friends, theres not much going on during the day. So its probably better to go during night time so you can get a nice shot of the bridge and its lights turned on
People jump off this bridge and i will NEVER go back.
Its a good short drive lol
Good walking/running spot
A piece of art... History... Beauty!
Super cute and clean
This should be a beautiful bridge but all the safety fencing makes it not so. Its too bad they felt they needed to do that.
The new chain link fence absolutely ruins the experience of walking on it. What a pity.
Is a nice old bridge. Worth a stop if youre in the area
Nice park below
Very nice view nice for walks.
Great place to come to at night and walk! Especially when you go under the bridge it’s awesome!
It has a beautiful view until you read the carvings. When you look down, it gives you a scary vibe. Otherwise, it is great.
Fence covered the fireworks helicopters where to low and loud. I have been for 55 years and this is the first time its been that bad.
Chainlink fencing: ugly af
Take time to walk across this historical bridge and take in the beautiful views of the mountains and the arroyo. The architecture is second to none.
Cant understand, why People Jump!
Always beautiful
Love the eerie vibe too bad most of the bridge is fenced off :((
This place was amazing. Unfortunately in order to prevent people from jumping, the city installed fences and now it looks terrible. It’s still a cool bridge.
Usually pass here when doing UberEats in Pasadena. Accidently drifted throught it today in the rain when i ended taking the corner a bit too fast due to wornout tires the car didnt slow down so when i lightly tapped the brakes i took the corner sideways and managed to get back on my way. Dont speed with wornout tires in rain on a bridge.
I love how the people who had once came here had made it known by writing little notes on the bridge! Very nice place, I will make sure to recommend going here to my sister!
Such a peaceful park
Love because it really spooky but I has an history that everyone should know about and it great to have a walk with ur friends and family
Spooky place to ghost hunt
Also known as Suicide Bridge since over 100 people have committed suicide off this historic landmark.
I knew it under the name Suicide Bridge. It was a good hang!
BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF HISTORY!!DONT LET PEDESTRIAN EXCLUSIONHAPPEN!! (they want to permanently close off the walk way to pedestrians.)
Lovely but needs bathroom
This bridge is nice. Its situated in a ritzy area of Pasadena...
Its a thing to do when in socal. This historical bridge provides a lovely view of the Arroyo-Secco area and just a glimpse of the Rose bowl. Its a lovely evening stroll. Dont be surprised to find lots of folks doing photo shoots and making out.
This bridge is crazy. I was walking and say many Engravings of I jumped here. Many chills oml I was so scared. I did sort of love this experience though. I have always been sensitive to this stuff and this day was definitely fun for me.
Amazing place to look at and visit.
This is a historic bridge also known as Suicide Bridge due to many known to have ended their lives here. Beautiful at night and you often see people taking photographs Nice for evening stroll
Amazing
I love the architecture of this bridge, also nicknamed Suicide Bridge. Dont linger on the bridge or the police will show up and check on you to make sure youre not there to jump.
This bridge WAS a perfect place to take foreign era & dates but due to the ugly chain link fencing its become an embarrassment & kinda intimidating place to even think about crossing
Historic and unique
Rusnak Morning Octane
An amazing sight! Great for pictures. I dont visit this bridge too often but I love the view from it every time I go.
Gorgeous structure....love heritage buildings or structures of any kind! This also had some significance recently in a movie! La La Land!
It is really creepy. You feel a sudden urge to jump down a little. When you look dow it is really creepy.
Habitat for humanity is building homes here for U.S.A. vets! Awesome. Look up sgv habitat for humanity to help.
Awesome views of Pasadena & Arroyo Seco. Was called Suicide Bridge when I grew up there
