Its a great place to go see a movie without dealing with long lines and crowds. I wish the food section had more variety, but well, its a movie theater.

The oysters were fresh and delicious. The char grilled oysters are amazing! Jambalaya and beer! The staff were great!

The ArcLight Cinemas in Pasadena is an exceptional movie house. 20+ screens allow visitors to choose time, date, and selection. For those so inclined there adult beverages available for purchase. A variety of food options include spicy sausage, hot dogs, multiple popcorn choices. You will enjoy an evening away with many restaurants on the same property.

They look pretty on the outside and before you get into the theater itself. I saw Starwars IX and the movie was good, however the seats... well Ive sat in better. They were old and uncomfortable. Picture and sound quality was good though.

Today was a very unusual day at the Arclight. Whereas i am always raving about the sound projection and picture projection here: they had big problems with the sound at the 1130 showing of Blindspotting today.The sound was muddled and unintelligible and several stops and starts did not fix the problem.Arclight takes a lot of pride in their procedure of having a body in the theater when the film begins to make sure the projection and sound is up to snuff. In fact, there is almost always an employee announcing the film and reporting on certain procedures of the theater, etc.There was no such person in attendance today. I went to the front end and reported the issue and then the repair procedure began.They could not fix the problem and offered credit vouchers, money back and passes to another film. This is good.From my perspective there were 6 people out front who should have known beforehand that there was a sound issue with the film before it began as there were sound issues during the previews. On a Tuesday day showing Arclight was definitely not busy.In a service business slow times usually means poor service, poor attention to even the most basic procedures. Its the same in a restaurant or bar and in a movie theater.This is when things happens and the employees are slow to respond. But these slow times are also when management needs to be on the floor making sure procedure are being followed. Where was Management today??

The atmosphere at act light Cinemas was great. Lily one of the employees helped us and she was absolutely amazing. Great place for kids and adults they also serve alcoholic beverages. The bathrooms were nice and very clean. To myself and my family that is extremely important. There is something for everyone children and adults will have a great time. Thank you Miss Lilly

The ArcLight is all right and out of sight all night. The Pasadena location is particularly excellent, in no small part massively comfy couches in the lounge area. Holy moley!! You literally have to LEAP into these sofas. Theyre gigantic and comfy. Get to the theater about 45 minutes before your movie so you can spend 20 minutes luxuriating in the sofas of course it will take an additional 25 minutes to dig yourself out of them, so 45 minutes is about right.

I always enjoy visiting this theater as it is nearby and typically has every major film and even indie options available in their large theaters. They will usually cater to the film buffs with showings of 70mm films and nice giveaways when applicable. I have not tried their offerings at the concession stand or their bars yet, but will update when I do.

Needs to be revamped. Many theaters have caught up and surpassed what this theater offer and at a cheaper ticket price. Gave it a good rating for being the pioneer of theaters. I recommend this theater if your buying tickets last minute and got some bucks to spend on opening weekend.

Great location. Lots of theaters. Theatre 5 needs new seats. They said it was being remodeled so hopefully that means the seats will be changed out too.

Nice setup in a fun area. Movies are played at very high volumes, though, so be prepared with earplugs of you cant handle a really loud cinema experience.

Heads up: they do not allow oversized bags inside the theater. BUT they do have really cool stuff on display!

Ate dinner there only. Food was overpriced and not really the good. Our server left us waiting a long time, brought sparkling water when sparkling wine was ordered and it took very a long time to get our food. Not impressed.

We love this theater. Me and my husband go there at least once a month as they do have almost all major titles screening. Very clean too, your feet wont get stuck to the floor as you are trying to enter or leave due to spilled drinks.

Its so cool to go to a movie and be one of the only people in the Theater. BEST WAY TO ENJOY A MOVIE FILM. NO DISTRACTIONS (also it had some cool displays.)

Been coming here for a few years because of location, convenience, and ability to purchase desired seats in advance. The theatre is clean, the workers are kind and efficient and its nice to have the option to have a wine as you wait or while watching a movie. They also tend to have at least one or two indie or foreign films playing for when one feels like watching something different.

The Arclight Cinema in Pasadena is by far, my favorite location of Arclight and for good reason. First, its probably the nicest Ive been to and the customer service has been the best out of all the locations Ive been to. Also, who can go wrong with their infamous caramel popcorn or chicken sausage hot dog? P.S. I highly recommend both of them. Unfortunately, this location is further out from me but whenever I get the chance to visit I try to make the effort.

Great theater. Screening rooms are large and accessible. Large parking structure nearby and the theater will validate your ticket. Concession snacks are pretty pricey compared to other places so com prepared with an extra $50 if you plan on being the whole family.

Clean. They have rules presented and everyone abided by them. Its a smoothly run tight ship! Great movie! I havent been to a movie theater in years, but Ill be back! Great experience! Thank you ArcLight!

Love coming here, its usually not as crowded as the AMC or Regals. Gets more quite in the afterhours. Parking is usually like $2 with stamp from theater which can be a minor irk, but parking attendants have let me pass through or not been at the window at all which is nice

I came here and saw avengers. It was a very clean place and a nice crowd. I really dont have any complaints. It was a little far from where I live, but I wasnt upset I made the trip. Its in a great location. There are a lot of nice restaurants around a places to visit.

I love this place especially on Friday and Saturday night. Staff is friendly. Prices are what you expect for the Pasadena area. Cool place to hangout.

Theater 9 seats K13-K15. Gross stained cushions; armrests have solidified food stains clearly visible on plastic parts. On a prior visit I didnt notice seats being do dirty. Something seems to have a changed for the worse. There are too many greeters and not enough cleaners. It costs $45 for three people to see a movie and I expect my family to sit in clean seats for this amount of money. Dissatisfied.

My favourite ArcLight to go to! It is a lot quieter the other ones for example like the Hollywood site. They also have a lot of good opportunities to do movie screenings or take a flyer to come to a movie screening there

Instructions were easy to follow. Validation was alright(paid $2). Popcorn was rather cold. But for that, plus a small drink & hot dog with fixings for under 20 bucks, not too shabby.

Be honest I was only there because I was there a preview movie and I cant even talk about the movie cuz I signed one of those non-disclosure forms

Super cool theater. Great ambiance. Not sure what the price was I went to a screening. But the popcorn wasnt fresh to me. Thats the main thing that sticks in my mind from my visit and keeps this from 5 stars.

They kicked me out of the theatre for watching a rated r movie and didn’t give me a refund because I’m black.

Overpriced theatre (aren’t they all though?). If you don’t mind shelling out $20 for a ticket, this place has it all. Big concession stands, big rooms, big screens and big sound. You’ll get a solid movie experience, at a price. I’d rather support a smaller local theatre with “lesser” entertainment experience but not charging you up the bum!

I always like seeing movies here, theatres are clean, sound is good, staff are pleasant, never any problems here.

We purchased tickets online and arrived 5 min late, to locked doors. We were informed after knocking on the door, that we could not attend our movie. Because they had a 7 min no entry policy... Tried to refund tickets and because the movie had already started they did not allow it... I will never attend another Arclight again.

There is a reason these guys are the best. After an infuriatingly bad dinner that made us late for our movie and in a terrible mood, we were taken care of so wonderfully that it made our night so great. The ticket taker was cheerful, noted that we missed the beginning of the movie and got us over to exchange our tickets for a later showing that starts 20 min later. The guy at the ticket counter was cheerful and super helpful and we got our seats picked out and done in like 2 minutes. The concession stand people were great with smiles and great manners and you could tell it made a huge difference to the other theater patrons that night. Thank you for taking care of us.

This is my go to theater because of the distance, and well never had a bad experience. People and staff are friendly. Seating is always clean and the carpets are in good shape. Restrooms are spacious and always clean. Well maintain facilities and they have couches where you can relax. That is if they are not close, otherwise you can sit down. Two fountain soda stations on left and right with 4 or 5 drinking options I think. The ticket price I wont complain because this is what I pay for. Grab a membership if you can. Collect points with every purchase and reedem them at the food counter.

So 4 stars for awesome screen and sound but it would be nice if they gave a military discount. Im kinda fed up that Pasadena isnt big on being complimentary to there service men. Also it would be nice for students too! I mean come on your college kids and service men should be commended. The chairs could also be more comfortable for the shorter folk. I say this cause the prices are just OMG these days. 5 bucks for a bottle of regular water and its not even BPA bottle and alkaline. I just miss the old fashioned theatres or the way this theatre use to be.

Clean theater from the restroom to the actual theater. There is a bar at the entrance with good beer and alcohol selections. Theater is pretty big and screen and sound quality is great.

I speak only for 2D movies, since I avoid 3D movies: the image and sound qualities are great. Seats are comfortable stadium seats with cup holders. Theres always someone who introduces the movie, before it starts, and lets the audience know theyre around during the show to make sure the audio and visual quality remain optimal throughout. You can get snacks and/or drinks from the concession stand before the showing. They have a membership program that may benefit you, depending on how often you go there for movies.

I like this theater because its surrounded by great restaurants and dessert spots. Also, not too mention the inside bar, always a plus! ArcLight is not overcrowded and mostly clean.

I was not impressed by their customer service and the tickets are overpriced, almost $18 per adult and $13 per kid. My wife got a large tub of popcorn and casually asked for plant based butter. The one attendant she asked didnt know what she meant and walked away to ask another of his coworkers. Almost immediately, the attendant from the next register turned to her and said, You do know that butter is only made from cows milk!? (He seemed annoyed by what my wife had asked). My wife then took the opportunity to open this guys mind and in short, she told him that plant based butter is real and it wasnt a thing that only exists in fairytales! (Boom!) I might return, once they bring their customer service and their theater seats up to date with the 21st century! The movie we watched was excellent, though. Good luck yall!

A bit pricey but I like the reserved seating and options for food around the theater. Parking can be a bit difficult so I recommend you arrive early.

Generally good cinema although some screens are not that large. Kept relatively clean. Traditional expensive and limited choice concessions, but prepared as expected. Sodas are self-serve standard Coca-cola products. Seats are large but not more modern recliners. They validate parking so it costs $2 for 4 hours in the garage.

Prices here are pretty standard, but the seats in the theater are a little older. Remodeled theaters have the new reclining seats but this one doesnt. Parking structure is also really crowded and the two or three times Ive been the parking payment system has been broken leading to really long waits to get out.

+ clean and neat.- overpriced but decent- parking I would describe as a bit awkward.- the theater will validate only a portion of your parking ticket fee.

All the cinemas in Pasadena are great! What sets this one apart is the gift shop. Lots of fun stuff for the movie going cinephile. Ive been here a few times. Always a good experience. Clean and smells good. Mostly a younger crowd.

Clean and not crowded. Date night with my wife. Saw Booksmart, very funny, highly recommend. The bar and food area was not serving food which was a bummer but plenty of places to eat right outside the theater. One of the few theaters we go to.

Our flight was very fun to attend movies theres its clean I wish they had a larger sitting area for those who have to wait for the movies but you dont have them all to where you can go and eat at different restaurants I think they should kind of upgrade though and allow you to have service at church at your feet

Its nice but they could update their chairs to the ones that recline. The theater is clean and well kept.

Excellent theater I love how they have assigned seats in all their theaters and the sound is excellent as well as the picture quality. I never have a bad experience here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They always do such a great job at making the movie experience exactly as it should be. You pay the price for this experience but I think its worth it

The tickets are over priced, and the theater doesnt offer any additional amenities to compensate for the price. You can visit plenty of other theaters that have cheaper tickets and reclining seats, which as far as I know the Arclight theater doesnt offer, or at least not enough of them. I wouldnt go here other than out of convenience.

Great cinema in Paseo with comfortable (and assigned) seating. You choose your seats ahead of time before going into the theatre. It’s a little pricier than other cinemas. Still, nice location right in the mix with all the other shops and restaurants that Paseo offers.

Average movie theater priced like a premium movie theater. Honestly not bad... but for $20 you should expect reclining leather seats, technologically upgraded tech POS machines, a beautiful interior and more than accommodating staff.Instead you only get the industrys average. On the bright side the viewing and sound quality is great but similar to most other theaters in the area. In conclusion, if youre okay spending the extra few bucks on gas for a better cinema experience, do so.

A great place to watch a movie.They use we bar code ticket system for easy entry.They have a nice store with nerd merchandise. A bar to kick back if you get here early. I like their wall which shows any movie highlight. The random and ability to switch scenes keeps it fresh. From time to time they also show props from movies making it nice to go to. They validate as well.One thing that sets them apart is the comfortable viewing areas just outside the theater entrances. Sofas and chairs make it a nice place to relax when waiting. Another unique thing is that they at the beginning of every movie a real physical person comes to the front and give info about the movie. They also let you know to wait after the credits sometimes. Courteous and nice staff also helps this place.Only thing preventing 5 stars is food price. It seems higher than the normal gouging.

Movie quality is excellent..stadium seats give a good view (if youre in a good spot).. seats are comfortable.. lots of snack options and a liquor bar available at the Concession stand..The reason for the 3 stars is the fact that they have the highest prices on movie tickets and snacks at the concession stand. For the quality and the seating in the movie theater, there are competing theaters in nearby cities with just as great quality at cheaper prices.

Reserved seating, reclining seats, blankets, order food and drinks including alcohol, free popcorn. I dont go anywhere else.

Great place for a move. Skip Hollywood unless youre in the dome. Also, Islands next door has great cheap drinks and a small bar with open space. This is my go-to combo for date night. Hidden secret location: Ice skating within walking distance.. seal the deal!

This is by far the greatest movie watching experience in my areaThe theater is state of the art. The movie technology is sublime, and the staff are all big moviephiles. There is no bad seat in the house. Sound quality is superb. Concession stands have great candy and their no seating policy when the movie time starts is a bonus.Its an experience you should have. Watching a movie in the dome is awesome. Something about the shape that makes it unique.One thing I like is the cleanliness of the theater. Everywhere you go it is clean and the staff all have smiles on their faces.

Small screening room. Only about 5 people in the middle of the week. Prices a bit more elevated than other theaters, but very clean and comfortable.

Best place to see movies in LA. Any ArcLight will do, but I prefer this one (because I live close.) Parking is convenient, but on big movie weekends, give yourself extra time as it can be harder to find a spot. And it’s worth joining the rewards program for the added perks.

The Arclight remains one of the only theaters today that actually delivers a solid experience. Solid theater layout. Pretty clean. Expensive as anywhere else, but better than other same places.

Tl;dr: pricey but first class experienceGet your tickets early so you can save the best seats! They serve food and alcoholic beverages outside, which you can actually take in to the theater.Great place for dates, nice surrounding nightlife in old Town/restaurants and bars.

This is a great place to bring your loved ones and enjoy the show. Its on Colorado street next to many restaurants and shopping places. The parking structure is underneath of the theater and you have first four hours for only $2 for movie patrons. I hope you will enjoy your time in this place...

The theater is pretty expensive. They dont have stadium seating, yet charge more than an AMC or Edwards for a standard 2D movie. I asked for light butter on my popcorn but it was dripping in butter. Its in a nice area of Pasadena so thats probably the reason for the uptick in the prices. Im not sure that I would recommend it for a typical family. I paid nearly $70 for my 2 kids and I for popcorn, 2 small drinks & a water.

Great experience as always, since their focus is quality. Unfortunately if you have a family with kids it can get expensive. The membership program does not save you much money, so its not for everyone. I use another membership for another theatre chain that makes a lot more sense financially. Keep in mind that I whatch as many movies as humanly possible, so my goal is sustainability.

The drinks at the bar were surprisingly good. The seats were comfortable and the screen was large and clear.I highly recommend going there to watch Captain Marvel.

First time @Arclight, very clean dining area, in both the cafe & theatre helpful staff, recommend it highly.

Its alright but has a stuck up vibe. I prefer AMC cinemas.

So overpriced and staff is pretty rude. Also the hours posted on Google are apparently invalid since I came in one night thinking there was going to be a showing at 10pm only to have the doors shut on my face. The guy just told me that Google has wrong hours. If that was the case then they should contact them and tell them to not post inaccurate showtimes.

This place is really pretty, really efficient, and I love the ambient music throughout the bathrooms and waiting areas. Theres even a lounge with TVs if you arrive too early for your movie.Plus, if you buy your tickets too late and you end up in the front row (like I did), the seats are far back enough where youre not straining your neck to see like other theatres. All for a reasonable price!

Chairs are due for an upgrade and you can hear loud movies in the theaters next to you during quiet parts of the movie.

Have gone here for movie screening and Good Boys which was hilarious....lol nice clean and affordable.

Parkiing you have to pay $5 an hour. Theater is situated in a way kind of hard to find so i miss my movie

Good seats, high quality video and audio. You can reserve your seats in advance. There is parking validation for up to 4 hours so feel free to park in the Paseo parking lots. Lots of food options available around the theater as well.
