This is a fun little park! They have a dock that goes fairly far out into the river. I see fishermen a lot.Ive also seen multiple manatees swim right under the dock when I went there.It has a beautiful view of the river. It would be nice if the park were a bit larger though and the roads were paved better.

It is a quiet place with amenities such as grills, pavilion, piers to try fishing, restroom. And calm waters for the enjoyment of the little ones.

Lots of homeless but they dont bother park patrons and keep to themselves. Excellent atmosphere, the dock is nice for fishing and there are multiple picnic tables. I had no trouble getting a table near the water.

I love it and castaway Park.I just wish that they would cut the shrubbery so we can see the water better and have more parking.

This place is so calming and beautiful. Birds and wildlife everywhere. If you need some peace in your life, take a moment and go here.

Beautiful Park. There are 2 permanent homeless residents who live here under the pavilion. They sleep on the tables and the daily bread supplies all their meals. Does not make me want to bring my family here. Great for dolphin watching, SUP, kayaking and a little beach area for hanging and fishing, even a fish cleaning station. Some landscaping issues..weeds growing on the walkways and docks etc..overall a little gem.

We were there to do a marine biology research project with our students and found a little niche where birds soar and fish bite and breezes blow. There is a boardwalk we saw some people take but we didnt so I cant say for sure but the maintenance staff was enthusiastic and do a good job keeping it up.

What a great place to brings kids. The beach area is clean. It has a covered picnic area and grills available. Offers fishing from two piers. I bring my three kids here all the time. We all love it the water is cool and clear. My boys like to snorkel here and catch blue Crabs which are alot of fun to catch. Fishing here is great and lots of wildlife so far my family has seen dolphins, manatees, and all kinds of birds.

It so pretty and secluded! There are grills, a little dock, benches and parking. Fun for little get to get-togethers.

A nice place to relax...with family and friends

Its a nice park for fishing and perhaps playing in the river, as there is a sandy beach. It has a lot of potential. It desperately needs cleaning and maintenance and it seems to be a preferred place for irresponsible fishermen, as there were dead fish, tackle, and trash scattered around the shoreline.

Nice roadside pull off. Saw many different birds a manattee with a very small baby. Friendly people. Enjoy

Cool boardwalk against the river. Has a few nicely shaded areas and a couple decks to fish on. Easy to get in and out of.

A beautiful spot to just hang out. A decent place to fish of the dock since there is a cutting board and a place to wash hands. Also a few places to sit on. The water is low so you are mostly catching catfish and seaweed around here with dead bait.

Once you clean up this little piece of heaven, its a great spot for a little photo shoot.

Very nice and relaxing park. It is not too big, most go there to fish and there are grills and tables out there for a cookout or picnic. You can go for a small walk, and it is perfect for reading.

I use to like going to Castaway to fish and never had a problem with the homeless but this evening may stop me from ever going back! I took my father and as we sit in the pier fishing I noticed a group of the local vagrants squeezing in on my fathers fishing lures as his back was turned fishing! I made my scene and left. The real shame is the guys doing it were guys I had spoken to numerous different times over a 6 month period of fishing! These people are down there almost daily and they are scheming and using a beautiful park for their drugs!

Tennis practice wall, and at least two courts. Not much for the toddler unfortunately.Great truck/trailer parking for the very well maintained launch ramps.

Very good place to getaway for a few days. The accommodation was great, clean, and sterile. Definitely got to return for another stay.

Great place to walk, fish, set of kayaks or picnic. One of the best places in palm bay for photos. There is a grill and several picnic tables. Theres also a public restroom and handicapped parking.

I think this place has potential. It was covered with debree. Fishing line on the ground. My daughters foot was entangled. Not good for human or animal. We threw away a lot of fishing line that was on the ground. I was absolutely dismayed as to why such a lovely place would be left unmaintained.Saddens me to think what this place could be but has fallen to waste.

Itll always be a beautiful place but its becoming a wasteland, filled with dead animals, fish and algae.

You can party in a pavilion, fish or swim. Lots of room and has rest rooms.

Well...alot of people go fishing here but I like to take pictures . Go very early in the morning and youll get great photos.
