This is certainly the most scenic drive that I have ever done in Florida. This drive is awesome. I would recommend to anyone.
First time in Ormond Beach our real estate agent took us on the trip.Started beachside and headed north to high bridge road and then did the loop and came back on riverside at beach street and then went to the Grind for some food and drink.Bought a house a week later and been here 4 years and love Ormond Beach.Save the loop .Stop Plantation Oaks from building. No meetings for two months all delays blamed on covid .Road flooded yesterday and today.Be very careful especially using high bridge road it suks.So happy we moved to Ormond Beach
This is such a gorgeous drive! We own a Rubicon and this is one of our favorite “Jeep trips”. Very relaxing and it gives you a feeling your in “old Florida”. The road can be tight and narrow so don’t take this route if you are in a hurry!
Always a good time out here plenty to do if you like being outside in the wild.
A great ride on the bike(motorcycle) for the curves and the scenic views. If you avoid popular times of the year like bikeweek. You can lean into the curves and get some speed going. On the flip side, Taking the car is more serene and peaceful. Either way make a stop at one of the bridges to take a breath and enjoy Nature.
Lived here for 38 years. Wouldnt change it for the world. #BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Excellent riding. A bike week must do.
Boring trail, not very scenic
The loop is amazing with lots of nature to enjoy & lots of fishing spots
Great place to hike. Saw lots of deer and a few gopher tortoises
The great part about having spent 40+ years serving and driving tour groups is the secret tours few know about. The Ormond Beach Historical Society is at the foot of the Granada Bridge. By special request groups can take the scenic loop and trail tour. Was a trolley tour many years ago. Not any more. Tourists come to Daytona and never really see the great beauty of Ormond. Or learn about its rich culture. You can get a map and drive it yourself. Some secret fishing and crabbing spots on the loop. And I mean lots of blue crabs. Final stop should be The Bulowville Sugar Mill Ruins in Bulow State Park. Established by James Russell back in 1812. Afterwards check out Hulls Seafood Restaurant. 1 block from the bridge on US40 Granada.
Lovely relaxing ride.
What a great morning out, wouldn’t have missed a moment of it.Do not miss out Tomoka State Park (beware shop is closed on Wednesday’s) .
The best thing you can do in Ormond beach is take a loop drive. It keeps this place connected to its roots
Nice scenic ride through...
Quite lovely. You must take this little drive!
Nice scenic ride to get to Ormond Beach with several pullover spots to enjoy some of the nature instead of taking the busy highway
Very scenic drive
Great tour, self drive
This is not a park, trail or preserve. Its just paved roads and houses. Very misleading to call it scenic, or trail. No signage anywhere.
Awesome Scenic trail. Helps reset the mind.
Nice ride
Beautiful houses and scenery! A place to visit when you go to Ormond, Fl.
Scenery is beautiful and the roads are shaded by the overlaying trees along with some nice curves alongside the waterway.
