Beautiful beach. Splash pad was closed. Bathrooms on site. Tables and benches for watching sunrise or have a lil picnic with the family.

What a great facility! The parking lot is huge and the bathrooms are super clean. The showers work well and the beach is very nice. We will definitely return to this place!

Andy Romano Beachfront Park is a gem. Congratulations to Ormond Beach and the people who created this. The layout is perfect! There is sufficient bathrooms/changing rooms, there is plenty of outdoor shower areas to rinse sand/salt water off. There is an abundace of seating, barbecue areas, there’s a playground for kids and there is ample parking and a lifeguard. It’s a great place to spend the day.

I love this beachfront Park so convenient you can park you can picnic theres bathrooms theres water fountains theres a concession stand and then you can take the steps down to the beach and relax come back up and shower off perfect place I just wish they would build more Oceanfront Parks like this one up and down A1A. family friendly place also its safe Ormond Beach Police Department patrols constantly at the parks

Our second favorite beach park to go to, we usually go to Tom Renick park which is less crowded but does not have the same level of cleanliness for their bathroom facilities. This park has someone on grounds to keep the facilities clean. The playground is a nice size here but it can get crowded. There are picnic tables, a pavilion & grills.

Just being here is like meditating. You cant improve on this space where everything is clean, safe and beautiful. I spent an hour here taking pictures and meeting people.Too bad the access to the beach is closed due to the strong noreaster a few weeks ago that swept away two feet of sand.Now the stairs dont reach the beach! However, there is easy access just south of the park.

Great beach area for families, blocked off from the beach drivers and with a play area, changing facilities and sprinklers for cleaning off the beach sand. Limited parking. Arrive early if possible. Also, a fabulous beach for walking. Miles. Simply perfect. If you wish to drive on the beach, north toward Ormond, it will cost you $20 at the gate.

Clean beach & family friendly. Medium to strong waves, bring a boogie board . Great life guards. Has an area for children to play. There are Pavilions that you can reserve. And an area to buy food like hot dogs and drinks. I would recommend giving this beach a try.

Excellent park! Free parking, splash pad open March-November, a playground, showers, clean bathrooms and each access to the beach! We’re coming here for all future beach visits! Great place!

Great park ...well shaded ..free parking (can be hard to get during peak times. My kids love the easy beach access plenty of bathrooms and a splash pad(closes at 5 weekdays 7 weekends) really awesome place to post up when visiting the beach

I absolutely love this beach front park. There’s restrooms, a food window and educational signs about the life in the ocean. They have a splash pad and playground for the kids. One of the best features is that I’ve always seen a lifeguard on duty. Get there early. Parking is limited.

This has been my life saver. Had ankle surgery and could not walk on the beach (my happy place). We found this place driving down A1A and well I love just sitting and people watch. Clean restrooms, Wheelchair friendly, and a concession stand.

Andy Romano Park is a little gem in Ormond Beach Florida. I always enjoy parking here (if parking is available) whenever I go to the beach. It’s a Beautiful facility open to the public. There are plenty of bathrooms (family, men’s, and women’s). They are always clean. The whole park is well maintained and clean. It’s even got a fun splash park for the kiddos!I’ve also been to a Sunset Wedding there which was Beautiful with the ocean in the background. All in all it’s the perfect place to visit.

We come here regularly as a family. Staff always keep up on grills, tables and bathrooms. Night or day you can wash off before leaving.

Great for families and kids, this park is clean, with a variety of options and great beach access to guarded territory. There is an environmental study area with placards and information about wildlife, and a very cool raised balcony to sit and look out over the ocean. Plenty of parking and near two good restaurants, overall a great spot.

Its a beautiful park, with clean restrooms, a snack shack, splash pond for kids to wash off the sand, BBQ grills covered picnic areas which can be reserved for parties.

A great beach. It has bathrooms and a little playground. Part of the beach is hard to get to due to erosion from the hurricane. A little more walking and its worth it.

Very rarely do I feel an attraction deserving of a 5 star review but this park does deserve it. Excellent facilities with updated and clean bathrooms/change rooms. Outdoor showers with foot taps and concession available. Lifeguard and beach patrol and they are on top of things - storms were rolling through our area while we visited and whenever the lightning was too close they made sure everyone was safely out and back from the water. The beach is very clean and this area has no cars. Parking is free. Will definitely return.

Very lucky to have such a beautiful beachfront park! There is plentiful parking, even when its a busy day at the beach. There are plenty of covered areas for gathering together with friends or birthday parties. The bathrooms are always clean, as is the rest of the family. Kids greatly enjoy the splash area Espeon when the surf is rough.

This is a lovely park for families. Get there early to park. The splash pad and pavilions make it a great place for families to picnic and play with little ones. The facilities are nice and clean. The stairs take you to a part of the beach with no driving - making it safer for kids and romping on the beach. A wonderful park on the beach!

Romano Park, Is A Family Friendly Park-Very Clean &(Non-Smoking)- It has a covered playground area thats also padded for kids safety! Theres a Pavilion With (4) Men & Women Bathrooms/(2) Family Bathrooms, And theres also a *Snack-Shack*($$) Theres also an area where Water sprays up from the ground thats really Cool for younger kids! Theres Picnic tables and grills available(You Must Reserve These specifically) One thing thats awesome is it sits right next to the beach literally you can take the stairs down or the ramp which is handicap accessible . My In-laws live In The Daytona Beach area so we always visit The Romano park When weather permits:

The most convenient beach. Easy parking and hauling stuff to the beach. Its a flat entry, so no dunes or drop off. There are plenty of outdoor showers and even a splash pad!! Theres even a snack shop. Plenty of restrooms too.

Love it...My daughter had fun...the only thing is that the water sprinkles area is too slippery and the kids constantly fall...my daughter was one of them and broke her lips. I recommend put something in the floor in that area to avoid injuries.

Very easy to find lively Beach Park in Ormond Beach. This park is Free of charge. Clean rest rooms. Food and drink available. Absolutely beautiful Beach with soft coral colored sand. There is a life guard on duty. Beautiful calm water. Went for the first time last week and going back today.

I like the park. Covered picnic tables, showers, bathrooms and nice beaches area with good parking close to to beach are very nice. I am retired so I may be going on weekdays so it may be busier on weekends.

Im not sure who the gentleman is that donated this wonderful public park to the city but he should be hailed as a hero one of the best beachfront public parks Ive seen him my travels up and down the East Coast. From the many tables to sit at and have a meal to the shower facilities to the kids playground facilities all or well-maintained and new during peak season they also have a snack bar that has a large selection of burgers hot dogs sandwiches and ice cream only steps from the beach free parking as well as handicap parking once again a blessing on that community.

Cute place to take kids. Water was a rough but the ice cream snack and water play area for kids its enjoyable. Its clean and less crowded in week days.

We were on a trip to Daytona Beach and was planning to park on the beach but the tide was high that day so the parking guard told us about this park that he always takes his daughter to and I am so glad that he did. Its about 3 miles from the original Daytona Beach entrance but I didnt mind because the beach is the beach and on top of that, parking was free compared to the $20 beach parking. Once we got there, parking was the next project. It is very limited in parking and you may be waiting for 5-10 minutes but I say it is worth it! They have individual bathrooms to change in that are large enough to fit 2 people and they also have a kids water park and dry play area if theyre not into the salt water. The showers are also right before you hit the beach so everything was very convenient and so very clean. I enjoyed this park a lot and I dont think I will park anywhere else when I come to Daytona Beach!

My sister and I stumbled upon his little gem on a dash to the east coast from our way home from Disney World. This place is perfect. Clean, easily accessible, and everything you need for a fun outing to the beach. Covered picnic facility with grills, bathrooms, playground with soft flooring, showers from beach stairs. Parking right there.

Sad sad the town is over run by junkies and drunks and on a corner begging. International and Ridgewood 6 bum 4 corners. And the boardwalk is just as bad. This park was the safest. Maybe is someone stay off channel 13 news and do his job. Maybe get Kevin Berry to come over and help. I wont say who is at fault. But whos been the head Sheriff there for how many years now I know at least 7 or 8 probably a lot longer than that. Maybe time for a change. Cant blame the recession in the Hurricanes now its time for a new Ways New people

This is a great place. It has fair parking, good amenities, it is right in front of the beach and is very clean.

Always a great time for the kids! Shaded picnic tables, splash pad, park, lots of grills to use and everything is clean. They have a ton of bathrooms that are clean. A concession stand with a lot of options.The best part is there is NO driving on the beach adjacent to the park!! Lots of fun for the kids.

This beachfront Park is very child-friendly. There is no driving on the beach in this area. No worries about someone accidentally hitting your child here. There is also play equipment and some covered areas where you can picnic. Bathrooms are functional and are indoors. This is not a pet friendly Park so leave Fido at home if you plan to visit the beach here. Smoking is also not allowed. No alcohol is allowed. See what I mean? Its totally kid friendly!

I spent the day with my family and was very impressed with the facilities. Kudos to the staff for the upkeep throughout the day. The restrooms, grill areas, splash area even the beach were very clean. They were very friendly. Great job City of Ormond Beach. I will be back.

Large restrooms/ changing rooms, outdoor showers. Lifeguards. Ive never purchased from the vendor. Good parking. Only once did I ever have a challenge finding a spot.

A nice beach for walking. It is fairly continuously bordered by hotels, and a few private residences, but the beach is quite wide, and goes forever!

We really like this little beachfront Park. The views are fantastic. The public restroom facilities, kids playground with mini water park and fully sheltered picnic & grilling areas are modern and always exceptionally clean and very well maintained. Ormond Beach Police Department does an excellent job of keeping this place absolutely safe and family friendly.

They have very clean bathrooms, showers to get the sand off, barbecue stations, lots of places to sit, a childs playground, and free parking. Get there early, because I have a feeling that the park gets very full in summer...

This is a great spot to bring your family or just to enjoy the beach. I go there to write a lot and its beautiful. There are plenty of tables, a snack shop and fountains to help cool you of or incite giggles from the little ones. One of my favorite parks so far!

Andy Romano is a place where you can find parking during the week and the weekends is very hard its handicap accessible it has bathrooms and concession stand its about its a place to go to the beach a lot of restaurants around there it has Pavilions for BBQ you can reserve the Pavilion if you have a party other than that its a nice place to visit that on the weekend unless you come early youre not going to find parking or table enjoy

Ormond does a great job! This area is great for kids to play. A nice walk area down to the beach. Concessions and a playground round it out as the perfect place. Recommend getting there early for a place to park.

Its convenient to the beach with free parking. Kids love playing at the Splash Pad and adults enjoy cooling off as well. Theres a refreshment stand and at the end of the day there are bathrooms to change in after finding the sand off. Love it !

Great Park it is only steps away from the beach. This park is a welcomed relief from the Florida hot sun. My kids enjoy playing at it after we have been at the beach for a little while. It is kept immaculately clean.

Another great Daytona Area park. No smoking. If you need to light up, please move far away from the playgrounds and tables. Dont step over the curb and make everybody breathe your poison. The people who work there WILL tell you publicly to stop it. They arent shy about the rules.
