Im going to Master Gardener training in their ballroom / meeting room, so I cant really rate the meuseum exhibits. I havent seen them. The venue is nice, and has good parking and a walking trail.
Looked up payments, ticket sale times and everything before taking the family in. We get there on time for the final ticket sale of the museum, but then are told that they close in 30 minutes. it was me very clear to us that when its closing time that they ARE CLOSED politely implying theyre not going to keep the doors open for us. The museum itself was decent, but I wish that there was more things and also I do not believe that we should have to have paid full price without getting a full experience...As I said I went off the information on their website so instead of doing that I would suggest that if you were going to be going definitely check in no later than 3:15 as opposed to the 3:45 mentioned on the website. Veteran and military discount equals for you tickets. Otherwise its $5 for children and $8 for adults. I would not suggest buying any type of membership. The museum was very small so Im not sure why someone would be returning that often.
This is one of the best museums I have ever been to. ! Great place for the elderly or anyone in a wheelchair. Staff was wonderful! They even offer virtual reality on certain days. This is the largest pharmacy display I have seen. Prices cheap and free for veterans. Definitely worth visiting.
Senior friendly! Excellent staff... All around good museum
Very cool and interesting if you live in OC or are an Oregon History nerd! The people in the archive library were most helpful in locating personal family history artifacts!
I have lived near this museum for the past five years but have not had a chance to check it out until recently when my parents came to town. It turned out to be a great experience filed with interesting artifacts, a movie theater, and knowledgeable staff on hand to answer any questions. My dad really enjoyed this as he is a huge fan of the Oregon trail game. Upon leaving the museum we realized that the entire outside of the building had a trail around it which was covered with more information regarding people and stories from that time period along with several interesting murals. There appears to be a great picnic area and lots of parking however it was still a bit cold when we went to take advantage of. The gift shop is filled with fun items for kids and adults. They also sell light snacks, beer and wine.
Very interesting and not too busy. It also gets you a pass into a nearby historic house
Excellent display of pioneer life and local history at Oregon Trail terminus. Displays change monthly to show different life aspects in the area. Excellent guide explanation of different display components. Time well spent.
This museum is interesting but very small for the price.
Great little museum highlighting the history of the Oregon Territory and Willamette Falls. A must see. Kids activities too.
Very nicely laid out. Also great event space upstairs
Ticket is good for 1 month. So you can come back to see what you missed.
Be sure to see The American Legion 100th year display. Very well done.
So much fun and we were able to see some exciting things. Would like to go again.
Very good explanatory museum for adults and children of school age
Cute little museum. Small, but fairly priced.
My little family had a great time at this museum! I loved looking at the pharmacy and all the clothing from the different generations!

Lots of wonderful local history... Views of falls and interesting exhibits. Temporarily closed to upgrade parts of building... Looking forward to see the updates.
On March 10, 2015, a group of about 40 adults toured the Museum of the Oregon Territory as part of our tour of Oregon City.Roxandra, one of the museum managers, lead us through the exhibits. The museum is well organized and fascinating. Roxy is very knowledgeable, very personable, and an excellent guide. We had a wonderful time and plan to return.
