Great experience! First time axe throwing, and we were running late from dinner. They got us on our lane promptly & were very accommodating. Quick tutorial and away we went! Will be back!

We had a fun night. 7 people in our group and one hour was just enough time. There were 2 employees running back and forth helping with technique which was good. One thing I saw that could use some improvement was the beverage situation. I think more beverages would be purchased if sold in the throwing area. Unless theres a law or something. Anyway, we had fun and will recommend to friends and family. Thank you.

The employees were absolutely phenomenal. They did everything that we asked which sets times was more than unusual. And they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Just say the word that they use though was maybe a little on the Lesser end? We have gone to other axe throwing places around Omaha and I did enjoy their would a little more I was definitely able to stick more at other places it was extremely hard to stick my axe in this wood and I felt like the throwing distance was a lot shorter. But overall we had an absolute great time and he loved it and we thank them for everything they did for us tonight.

We had a great time at Axe Games! This was the first time for us and it was great! Everything was explained in detail and we were checked on periodically to make sure there wasnt anything that we needed or were having trouble with. I will be going again!

Went over here last night with some friends and had a great time. Gina and the rest of the staff were helpful in going over the rules and teaching proper throwing techniques. The hour went by fast, but we had a lot of fun and plan on coming back.Also, they have an archery game (think paintball crossed with archery, but no one gets seriously hurt.)Overall, highly recommend.

The staff gave a safety brief, and watched the customers to ensure safety protocols are followed. They are also friendly, and offered to take pictures. You could tell they are passionate about their job. It was a great place to let go of some stress. Just make sure to stretch, especially if youre as old as me!

Reserved for a 7pm last night. Got to the location 15 minutes before hand expecting to have our safety brief before so we could have our full hour to play. After we signed in we were told to go have a seat at some park benches.It was getting very close to 7 and the cages were full, none of the employees were by the cages at the time, I spoke with an employee at the front who told me they were understaffed and they would get the people playing out of the cages as soon as they could.Waited until about 7:10 to get the safety briefing, started playing at 7:15. (I understand there is about a 3-5 min safety brief but we still started late).Once we did start, we were told in a matter of 15 min of different rule violations which is fine, but the tone she was telling us in, was almost demeaning. There are many nicer ways you can tell a person they are doing something the wrong way, and she sure failed at that. She also muttered under her breath as she was walking away “you know the rules and rules are rules”. Nothing we did was unsafe that needed her to act the way she was.One main thing they told us is you cannot cross the red line while the person next to you is throwing. I understand that, but what you can do is sit at a table on the side of the fence and drink beer while you are (technically past the red line) it really makes no sense. If you haven’t been there, you will see what I mean when you go.I will say after we had put on our jackets and were ready to go, they did figure out after they were told that we started 10-15 minutes late. They did offer us 5 more min, but we were already in the leaving mood.As far as the axe throwing. It was fun and interesting, but I felt as if we were being watched like a hawk, compared to when I arrived. It looked like the groups who were playing before us were having great a great time, but we hardly could enjoy ourselves because we were afraid we would do something wrong. I really wish this was more enjoyable than what it was.I would love to go back again if we could have as much fun as the people were when we first got there.

We had our office Christmas party at the Axe Games and it was great. Everyone loved there time there between the axe throwing and the archery. We highly recommend them for parties and team activities.

Its a really fun time and a great atmosphere. It took a while to get a hang of throwing the axe but they help you along the way. I would definitely recommend it as a fun thing to do any day.

Great evening for our company holiday party. Their staff made it so fun with a few great mini tournaments. Highly recommend for any type of group or family outing!

It was my first time axe throwing. They kinda do a quick safety course(like 5min). Do a demonstration for you, and send you on your way. Quick and easy. The nice thing is. Of course they check to make sure your following the rules, but theyll help tweak your form and such if they see you struggling. Ill def be coming back to this place.

I do recommend going here the concept of it is really cool. However I paid for an hour and we were not able to get started until 20-25 min after the hour due to the previous group not getting out of there and then going through the training which long time. It wouldnt have been a problem but we were asked to leave after only 40 minutes of throwing. I guess I thought by paying for an hour I would get the full hour to throw.

Went with my work group and had a good time all around. Once we got into the flow of things, we had a blast. We threw several rounds over two hours.Shoutout to John for the training, special help, score taking, bartending, target fixing, and overall awesome attitude!

We went to Axe Games as a family and it was a great experience! The staff were very helpful and friendly! We will definitely be going back again!

This was our second visit, first visit was great, this visit was not as good. Our first visit we had 7 people and 2 lanes which was perfect, this visit we had 12 and still they would only give us 2 lanes, even though the 2 lanes next to us were wide open. Everyone pays $20/hr no matter how many people in your group. We had to many people to even finish our games in the hour which really sucked. We will go back but definitely not with a large group.

Had a great time. I wasnt hitting anything at first but after a tip from one of the ladies that worked there...I stuck 95% of my throws. Will definitely go back!

Such a great night. The staff was amazing, friendly, and super knowledgeable. They show you how to throw and make sure you have the best chance at having a good time. Scoring was easy and they watched to make sure you did not have any problems. They limit you to 3 adult beverages which I appreciated as I do not want to get hit with an axe from a person whom had to much to drink. Drink prices are very very reasonable. Very good date night, Thank you for all your hard work.

My husband and I took our 3 adult children for fathers day. We had a blast! We went through the orientation which was filled with great tips. The staff was constantly checking on us to make sure everything was going smooth for us. We will definitely go back in the near future and the next time, take some of our friends with us!!!

We had a blast. Clean facility, safe, and entertaining for everyone. Came with bachelor party and the seven of is we able to throw about the rounds. After which we played 45 minutes of archery tag. Im wiped and truly enjoyed ourselves.

We had a group of 3 adults and an 11 y/o. We had SO MUCH FUN!!! Tom was our instructor, and was amazing at teaching us!! All of us were able to get the axe to stick after his coaching on proper form! The 11 y/o had soo much fun! This venue is definitely family friendly and the staff are great at making sure everyone is throwing safely and having a good time! Thanks for such an awesome experience!

The staff were very friendly and professional. They take safety as a high priority for those throwing and for those watching. They take the time to teach about the type of wood they use, the type of axes used, and how to properly throw.

This business was so accommodating! Our dinner plans went longer than expected and we weren’t going to make our reserved time. I called to give them a heads up and they were willing to be flexible with us! I highly recommend this place for a great atmosphere!

We booked a corporate event here, and had a wonderful time. Our host showed us what to do, and stayed with us the whole time making sure we figured everything out. It was easy to pick up, and we had a great time. She gave us control over the music as well, which was nice. We will be back!

We had a blast! First time axe throwing and by the end of our hour we all felt like we had gotten a lot better. The staff member coaching us was very friendly and often stopped by our section to see how we were doing and give us tips on how to improve our throwing style. When we went there was only one other group on the other side of the room. So we almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. We will definitely go again!

The customer service was top notch. Our axe guide, Tom, kept score, gave tips, and carried great conversation.The price is right to have a great night with a group of friends or colleagues. The facility is converted space and feels like the right place to let loose.Highly recommend trying them out.

I wasnt impressed at all. I go axe throwing quite a bit and this by far was the worst throwing experience in Omaha.From the environment to the “bar”, the unprofessional staff to the sub par throwing axes. It wasn’t a good experience. There is better in Omaha.Not a place I’ll go back to.

Looking for something unique and active? This is the place!Came here with a group of young men (mostly teenagers and a few sponsors) and we had a great time. We got to watch an archery game and it looked fun, too.It will probably take a handful of throws to stick the target, so patience is key. Taking a step forward from the back of the throwing area was where I found my sweet spot.There were a few times the axe bounced back from the target, but never all the way back to the throwing area. Still, its a good idea to wear some sturdy shoes or even boots. They do not allow open-toe shoes.

A lot of fun! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Even discovered my husband has mad lumberjack skills- who knew?! Highly recommend if you are looking for a fun date night activity!

We had an awesome time this past Saturday!! We had a group of 8 celebrating my bday. Gina was our couch and did an outstanding job!! Was very helpful teaching, going through the rules and getting us set up for some tournament play. Great atmosphere and overall a fantastic time. We will definitely be back!!

The experience was amazing. Very fun and therapeutic. The service was mixed. The manager of the shop stopped by to let our helper know (not very discreetly) that these people cant be allowed to leave until they pay. Fair enough, but perhaps theres a better way to secure payment.

From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed, not rushed at all. I was with my sons, 19, 14. We only booked an hour, not knowing how the teenagers would do without a Game controller, but some quick instruction, They were having a Blast.I know next time to book 2 hours, and bring a towel. Not much air movement when we were there, so we got pretty sweaty.That would be my only complaint, and at that, a Minor one. We Will Definitely be Back!

A fantastic time! Getting to practice your one or two arm throws is thrilling! Had. Group here and the provided a bracket for us to tournament. It is affordable. If you have a large group I recommend the competitive archery arena!

This place is awesome! Great for a date night, having a corporate outing or just having a good time with friends. Not to pricey, either. Ask for Gina or Steve, they will take care of ya, great instructors. The tournament play gets competitive, dont be fooled by the timid throws youll throw when you first get there. Be prepared to spend at least 2-3 hours here, itll be a therapy you didnt even know you wanted or needed!

Fun place to throw axes with the family!

Went axe throwing with my best friend and had a blast! Gina was so helpful, funny, and kind. We had so much fun the first hour we paid for a second one.

The downtown axe throwing places had a much better ambience. The boards here were beaten up and the axes were dull. When I asked about getting them changed,the elderly woman working there was rude and not helpful in the least. Safe to say, Ill spend my money elsewhere

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! Great group hangout activity. The staff is super sweet and adds to the whole experience. The throwing takes time to get used to but once ya get the hang of it, it is a blast! Will be returning.

Seen butter knives sharper than their axes. Place looks like it was put up overnight in an abandoned warehouse. Was excited to try axe throwing,and this was a big,giant, letdown. Maybe the other places in town are better.

This place was a fantastic idea. Gina was super nice, and we felt safe (despite some terrible throws). We’re coming back for the archery as soon as we get enough people!

Our group went there for an afternoon private team building exercise. We had a great time! the staff gave us all the proper instructions before hand and before we knew it we were hitting the mark!

Definitely recommended! Whoever knew throwing an axe could be so fun. The workers there are helpful, they’ll teach you how to throw correctly which makes it even the more entertaining when you actually know what your doing. We will definitely be coming back!

I went with my dad and wounded warrior project for archery tag and I had a BLAST. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have some fun with their friends and they also do birthdays

We went here for a birthday party and had a great time with combat archery. There were lots of different games with different scenarios. The safety equipment was in great condition and everything was very clean. We will definitely be going back.

This was such a fun family activity! I had my teenage cousins in town and this was the perfect way to spend time with them. The crew was also very helpful and gave us lots of pointers on how to have the best technique. I can’t wait to go back and try the archery tag.

Perfect date night for my husband and I! Had never been to anything like this but wanted to try it out. Booked a time easily on website for same day. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and they let us sit and watch the group finishing before us for a couple minutes before our lanes were ready. Our trainer (don’t remember his name) was also very friendly and gave us a good run down on safety and throwing styles. He even kept score for us when we challenged each other. Over all it was a great experience and we will do it again.

We had a staff bonding here and it was great fun. The staff was great at coaching so we all didnt feel inept at our throws and our tournament was lots of laughs and excitement. Thanks, Axe Games Team for a great time together!

Fun! My hubby dragged me here, and I did not think that it was going to be my thing, but it was SO MUCH FUN! it kind of reminded me of bowling, but with axes haha. I sucked at first, but you have an employee helping you learn, and after a while I got it, and was hitting the targets. my husband still beat me though, so were gonna have to go for a rematch!
