I have been going to the Y for several years and in addition to getting a good workout, I have made some very good friends. They offer a lot of different classes for people of varying abilities.

Free weights include two power racks, Olympic platform, benches, dumbbells, typical cable tower setup with lat/row stations, etc. Also has machines (Cybex), cardio, basketball courts, pool.Nice staff, and equipment seemed well maintained from my visit.

This Y has nice equipment, and doesnt get quite as busy as the Armbrust Y. Nice staff, too.

The ymca always has something Im looking forward too !

I love this place to workout.

I am shocked at some of the poor reviews here. My family and I have been members since 2012 and love it! Their swimming lessons for kids are great and my daughter has had wonderful experiences at ballet/tap lessons and the instructor Heather is absolutely wonderful! The front stuff is always so friendly and the daycare staff always lets me know if any of my children are having a difficult time with me gone working out. I would highly recommend this place and have to family and friends!

Just moved to Omaha from KC, I have been a member for years and trying to find one I can call home in Omaha. Walked in told them I have never been here before, the people working didn’t offer any help as far as making us feel welcome or offering to show me where I should go with my kids or anything. Just felt like I was inconveniencing her for having to look up my membership. I waited for her to say anything helpful before I asked where the kids go to play. She just pointed down the hall and didn’t offer any information on how it works there. Besides this Y not being updated and lacking features my last gym had, I have never felt so unwelcome. Will not be coming back.

Friendly helpful staff! Great equipment and clean. Just starting one of there great insensitive programs. Only constructive criticism is the locker rooms are a bit worn but still very usable and clean. Id recommend the YMCA without a doubt.

Nice Omaha YMCA. One of the older ones but still adequate. Clean facility and friendly staff. No rowing machine, but nice other equipment.

I love it here, I go here all the time. But one time this rude manager came in 15 minutes before the Y closed and said in a rude tone, get out, the gym is closed”. And I was shooting a free throw. That was the only thing I was doing. So I tried to make one, and I missed. As I keep on trying to make one, she keeps on yelling to leave the gym. And on my last and final attempt to make one, she yells at me “Leave or I’m going to suspend your YMCA member ship”. She said that to a minor. A kid just trying to make a free throw. So shame on her, beware for the day time manager. She acts and is a witch.

I have been going here off and on for 30 years. Every time I go back (on vacation) they have improved some aspect of their facilities. Great, friendly staff are always a staple of this facility. This is a great place!

This is a solid Y. Never too busy in the morning. Equipment is in good shape, clean. Locker rooms could use some cosmetic updates.

Absolute trash. Currently paying for a family membership and both of my kids play basketball, we signed up thinking what a great way to always have a court they could go play at. Needless to say the basketball court is frequently closed. They post signs saying times the courts are closed, yet you drive all the way back thinking the courts should be back open only to be told they are closed again, waste of time and money.

I really like this Y! Been coming here since 96. The rip instructor Laurie is the best! Very family friendly.

Im a member here and have been so for a couple years and would recommend it for all the family activities and events that they put on at a decent price.

YMCA... YMCA...Laat summer our son was supposed to get sun protection but for 3 days they forgot. Son got burned. Had to talk to the director of the facility but nothing changed. As they continue to hire minimum wage high schoolers to watch kids, they will continue to hurt those kids.Yes we may take legal actions.Free service is one thing, paid service is another.

Nice pool with lifeguards and a gym. Month to month memberships with frequent deals. Many classes and sports offerings for all ages.

Nest ymca in the city. Great staff. Excellent summer youth program. Great community.

Do not trust them with your children! There is a reason why they have no reviews. All the other YMCA in Omaha are great, especially the one in Millard for Day Camp. This one is not and should of been shut down...

This place in a severe need of an update in the mens locker room. The rest of the facility could use a bit of help too.

My family likes swimming and working out here. My only complaint is that they dont have a row machine.

Very disgruntled with the Y. Took my 2 grandkids (8 and 5) swimming. Both of them are good swimmers for their ages. Both can pass the deep water test; swim across and back using a swimming stroke and tread water for 60 seconds. However, because my 5 year old comes from a very short family (I am only 5 ft tall) he is not 4 ft. He may make 4 ft in 4th or 5th grade like the rest of the family. Therefore he can not take the deep water test. We may have to find a new gym/pool for our families where he can do the things in the (go down the slide) like other kids his age.Age shouldnt matter. Skills should.

Everyone has been helpful and nice here. Its also the only location where my one year old daughter will tolerate the Y care staff and shes pretty picky!

This place is run by management who turns a blind eye to some of their rude employees. One lady who worked there was very rude and morally unhinged. She has short hair and looks like a stereotypical gym coach. I reported her, but they circled the wagons to protect their own. They had a management change about 2 years ago but the new manager was a corporate stooge type who smiles and nods and pretends like shes listening, but if it doesnt fit into her agenda then you can just forget about your requests or reports being taken seriously. They remodeled the place 1 and 1/2 to 2 years ago, but that is probably a desperate move to attract business because they have failed in so many other ways. You guys wanted to be rude and unaccountable, but now you can reap it.

Probably the worst experience I have ever had at a YMCA the 2 ladies working were some of the rudest people I have ever meet the yelled at me and my 2 other friends because we were from lincoln and they had to look us up then the continued to give us dirty looks I have never felt to disrespected I would never recommend this place due to these two ladies that should be assisting new member.
