Great place to see a variety of visual art. Volunteers hold down the gallery on a daily basis. Well worth the visit.

My opinion of art and art galleries should probably not be taken seriously. That said, for me I did really appreciate the variety of artists and styles presented. It is my own personal burden to bare however I do become quite bored with galleries that exhibit examples of the same thing past every corner. More than likely my eye is not so discerning as to appreciate the finer differences, but if youre like me, this is a great place to see some fun and different things.

The Artists Cooperative is a local art institution after over 40 years of operation. Conviently located in the Old Market neighborhood, near several downtown hotels and attractions it makes for a pleasant visit with plenty of dining and drink options available after. The gallery is always staffed by artists represented by the artists, affording the opportunity to meet the creators of the work you are admiring. Prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of work on display. A must visit.

It was free, they offered delicious home baked Christmas themed treats with apple cider and hot cocoa. Also there were a lot of wonderful pieces of art, and the woman at the front desk was super friendly...and apparently a remarkably talented artist to boot. This was my favorite experience of the day!

When I went for the first time to visit this spot my daughter & I were the only ones there but it was great because my daughter was having a lot of fun looking at the art exhibits.

This gallery is a collective of local artists who display their paintings, photos, sculptures, etc. in a modern gallery in the heart of the Old Market. Entrance is free, as are the gallery parties which regularly occur.You will find a wide range of styles and media.

Fantastic seeing work for newer artist very enjoyable

Interesting work but a peculiar experience. My now 13 year old son and I travelled through Omaha and Des Moines taking in as much art as possible. We generally take a photo and post it on our Instagram in the hope of sharing the gallery/artist with a wider audience. Someone from this space came running in to tell us You cant be taking pictures in here! OK then. Taking a picture of a Jackson Pollock at Joslyn Art Museum is fine. Edward Hopper at Des Moines Art Center: also fine. Taking pictures of anything at Artists Cooperative Fine Art Gallery: not OK. Because reasons.

Really neat and well kept place, compliments the art culture of omaha. Most art work for sale from trinkets to full wall hangings. Would be a neat place to bring visiting family.
