We have a really nice state capitol. Too nice in my opinion...makes those guys feel too good about themselves. But, as a facility, it’s very nice. The new entrance is legit and I am confident when they finish construction it will be beautiful. The people who work there are very nice. As for the elected officials, those guys are a mess. Wish we had more of them with a heart to serve rather than “lead”.

Been to multiple state capitals and although this one is still under construction for renovations, its still gorgeous with all of the murals and beautiful mix of colors inside! The dome is gorgeous and the granite throughout is phenomenal! Totally worth a visit if in Oklahoma city and looking for something free to do! Definitely coming back when the place comes alive when the state Congress is back at it.

Went here to present for a high school project. The artwork inside the building that lines the interior walls is a great tribute to the Tribes and their culture, as well as to the history of the state of Oklahoma. The place wasnt very crowded on the particular day I visited, and there was plenty of space to look around. I had the opportunity to sit in the Senate Chamber, which was also a cool experience to have. The people there were nice, and Id definitely recommend visiting if you havent already.

Building was under construction so couldnt see it all. Front area wasnt the nicest. There was an old oil tower right in the middle of the front view which kind of blocked it and didnt look nice. Also big parking lots out for Senate etc....instead of park/grass/landscaping like many other Capitola have. Inside was nice. Cool dome and replica statue of dome topper.

Lots of renovations were going on while we were there. It was our first time so we didnt know what was new or old. We toured the chamber with our districts senator and sat in on a session. I reccomend it if you visit when session is available!

Beautiful rotunda with nice paintings and great lighting. The place is being renovated currently and for the next 4 years, according to our tour guide. The House and Senate chambers are fairly plain.

Nice place to visit. It was under construction so we missed out on seeing most of the art work usually on display. It was nice being able to do the self guided tour.

It was under construction, so all the art was put away. Nice tour guide though and lots to learn. I am sure it will be marvelous when they are done with the restoration. The dome that was added in 2002 is beautiful. Parking is free, which is a plus.

I have worked on the renovation of the building for the better part of a year. The support staff is great, and Gouverneur Stitt is awesome.

It could be such a beautiful place if it was cared for more. Much larger than it appears from 235 and actually pretty easy to get in and out despite the construction.

One of the nicer state capitol buildings I have seen. Spacious hallways, beautiful rooms, and great tours. They probably should add tours or have brochures in more languages because of the Route 66 tourism- I saw some German tourists disappointed that there was no information in German.

Pretty place with great architecture and art. Definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately, nearly every politician who works in this building needs to be absolutely fired and banned from future public service.

One of the more interesting buildings in OKC, but it seems to have been forgotten by most people. Take a chance to just go walk around now before the entire building is restored. Should be an amazing transformation after the extensive restoration is complete.

We went on a Saturday evening just to see The Ten Commandments Monument and we met our objective. Its a wonderful thing to see. I cant believe the courts are trying to have this monument torn down. Besides the monument, the capital is also with seeing from the outside. No interest in a tour though.

I will be honest I was underwhelmed by the building. The interior is desolate and suspiciously quiet. It was honestly unsettling. Worth to see and visit however even if for novelty factor.
