From the beginning, we had a wonderful experience. To start, they have a crisp, clear, easy to navigate website. The booking was very easy and convenient, as I did it all on my cell phone. Me and my lady took a 30 minute sunset tour and we were blow away by the views and the service. The pilot, Kurt and his father run the operation, and they were, courteous, respectful, safe and fun. We had never been in a helicopter before and Kurt made the ride smooth as silk. You get to see some unbelievable views of the California Coast, and make memories that will last a lifetime. We just did this with the owner Kurt. It was wonderful, he is wonderful. The whole experience was beautiful. The scenery, the service was safe and relaxing, Kurt thoughtful and so kind. He pointed out some interesting history about the area and served us champagne as soon as we arrived at the winery, Kurt made sure we had a wonderful reservation and a perfect table. My mom (who is 88) and I felt like VIPs. What a perfect day. Also Kurt handles the helicopter so well. Landing with him feels like floating down from a cloud. Very soft..Thank you so very much Kurt.

Really cool and amazing experience. It was fun to see the California coast from 400ft above. Im not sure I would pay the fee for a sunset tour again, but it was beautiful nevertheless. Pilot was super friendly and knowledgeable!

Went on the Christmas night tour ride as a present for my girlfriend and had a great time. I will definitely recommend it, it was an experience that I wont forget. We had a lot of fun something unique and new to try.

Let me add my 5 stars to all the rest. This is one of the most thrilling activities you can do in Oceanside. If you have never been up in a helicopter, this is a must do. Friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable staff.

Awesome place. We came and saw the sign for $50 helicopter rides and we were sold. Kurt and Danielle are very nice and welcoming and made the experience all the more fun. The helicopter felt great to ride in. Will be coming back another time in the near future!

Awesome staff and super accommodating. For my daughters 18th birthday we setup the 65min flight to Downtown San Diego and Coronado bridge. My wife and I went on the Pacific Sunset tour on the evening of 1/27/19. It was absolutely amazing. We had the perfect sunset and perfect weather for the trip, and everything about the experience was top-notch. Kurt was a friendly and knowledgeable pilot and tour guide, and he was extremely responsive in the days and weeks leading up to the trip with any questions. I was a little nervous going into it with it being my first time flying on a helicopter, but the ride was extremely smooth and I felt 100% safe at all times. Definitely would do it again!

We went for our 15th anniversary and was the best choice we could have made. Viewing Oceanside and the coastline from above was incredible and Kurt was an excellent guide/pilot. We are excited to take the sunset tour when we return in the fall. Dont hesitate, just do it !Kemper and Gloria

This was something on my husband and my bucket list and it did not disappoint. Kurt was very accommodating and even rescheduled last minute to make sure we had the best possible weather. Second tour with Kurt and Danielle. First time took a date on a 15min tour; saw whales and scouted a break while everything else was blown over. Price is wayyy more afforable then you would guess. Afterwords hit the surf on an otherwise thought to be unsurfable day!Second time, went for a much longer tour. Took my brother and his roommate. Kurt dropped some serious North County knowledge. It was cool seeing one of my favorite hiking trails from above, then passing over the San Diego County Fair and BroAM surf competition at Moonlight Beach. Afterwords we took the Coaster down to Moonlight Beach just in time to see Switchfoot play! This tour was the highlight of my week long trip back to California.Enough of this review. Seriously, if youre on vacation, live in SoCal or stationed there, schedule a tour and plan to have an awesome adventure. Tell them you read Rays review and recieve a free coffee or tea pre flight so you can be extra lit while you fly high in the sky!

I have done a lot in my lifetime. Ive hiked some of the roughest terrain, climbed some of the highest mountains and even swam with sharks. I can honestly say my experience in their helicopter tops all that I listed. We booked the 45 minute Waverider Quiver tour. I saw all of the beauty of southern California in this one trip. Even saw some whales swimming around the coast. The thrill of flying in their helicopter was indescribable. We were punctually greeted by Danielle when we arrived at the airport in a snazzy blue golf cart. Then transported to their hanger to meet the pilot and see the aircraft. The pilot (Kurt) was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He instantly made my girlfriend feel comfortable and safe. She even commented on how cute he was. I encourage anyone and everyone to book a flight immediately. Five stars!!!!!!!

Kurt allowed us to take plenty of pictures prior to our flight and during it. He pointed out various places and gave us interesting facts and information for our consideration. Kurt was friendly and he made sure we had a safe and pleasant flight. Wed love to fly again and it was a smooth flight all the way down the coast and back up to the airport in Oceanside.

Took my wife on a ride for her birthday. Worth every penny!!! We did the 40-45 minute ride out to the ocean and up into the hills. Danielle was super accommodating in helping us get to our destination on some electric bikes that we rode to the airport from Carlsbad. Kurt customized the ride to our liking, getting a little more aggressive than he would on a normal flight. We love it. My wife absolutely loved it! It was here first time. Well definitely fly again with Waverider on our next trip to Carlsbad! Highly suggest it!
