I have the unlimited pass so I go there pretty frequently. The lobby, bathrooms and theater are always clean. And they have special things they are doing due to covid 19 so the theaters are not over packed and the lobby is as sanitary as can be.

Clean and not crowded. Seats are fairly comfy. They have 5 dollar old movies which is nice. Bathrooms are clean.

Good service. Clean bathrooms. Literally only about 5 people in the room with us. Didnt like that the movie started almost half an hour after it was supposed to. Otherwise great experience.

Great environment. Friendly staff. There was hardly anyone there due to covid but I still enjoyed myself.

I was the only person in my theature. Which you a had recliners. It was good to do something normal again.

Find the ticket processing a turnoff here. You have to look around for someone to take your ticket many times (a routine issue) at this theater. As well, if the movie time is 8:30pm, for example, be prepared for 30 more minutes of commercials---actual start time will be 9pm. Both if these features are quite bizarre and off-putting as compared to other theaters. Theater seats are comfortable and clean. As usual, very overpriced good/drinks.

Regal Theatres usually have the best movies available. Multiple time formats for new movies. Its conveniently located near restaurants and shopping centers. The Paddock Mall is a minute drive away. So close you can walk there from the theatre. It will only take a few minutes. This area has something for everyone. Take a quick tour and you will see.

I took my child to see a movie with my wife and I and they refused to let us in because of their policy about children. Apparently you cant take a child to see a certain rated movies even with adult supervision because they were worried she would distract other movie goers. We have taken her to countless other movie theatres with no problem at all and she doesnt act up. We will not be wasting our time coming back to this screwed up movie theater. We will go where our money is appreciated and where we are respected as customers.

Really nice theater with multiple screens. Seats were nice, but not recliners. We are only here visiting and not familiar with Regal Cinemas, but I was surprised the earlier matinee movies are only $1 cheaper than evening viewing. I am used to AMC theaters which have much cheaper matinee prices. Not sure is the pricing is just for this area or typical for Regal.

We always have good service popcorn is great but we miss coming to the movies and cant wait until you open again were hoping it will be soon

My sister purchased a gift card for us two years ago. Year before last we presented if to this theatre. They refused to honor it, saying it was bought thru another agent. We talked to a regal executive and said the theatre could handle it. We presented it today to the Ocala location. Again they refused it. We are 77 & 86 years old and computer illiterate. Why are companies allowed to refuse use of an item that has been prepaid for two years. I will never attend a regal theater. That may not be racially prejudice, but they are definitely against the aged

I realize that. Regal Hollywood 16 has finally found some competition. But, I would sacrifice cozy chairs over an IMAX 3D Movie Experience any day!Nothing says Movies like IMAX!

I love this theatre even though Its a little more on the pricey side. I use to come here a lot when I didnt use to have a vehicle or a drivers license yet. So it was the closest thing to me. It was my regular hangouts when I had spare time on my hands. The main thing that I like about this theatre is that they play a lot of movies. Almost every movie that you see on commercials they play it. The concession stands sells just about any snack that you could want. Its also a very nice theatre they also have arcades and other things to play with in the lobby. Just overall its a nice experience.

Pretty good place to watch movies. Sad that they took the Now Playing stuff off of the building. Probably hurts business a little too. Plenty of motorcycle, and handicapped parking. They seem short staffed at times though. Major films come out, and they have too few people to help in most areas. Also, they STARTED a 2pm film at 2:30pm. The previews didnt even start till 10 after. Thats a tad too many previews.

We went there to see a movie, and brought our son along with us. After we waited in the line, which was quite long, because they only had one cashier, we proceeded to enter the building. The woman that was taking our tickets not only asked me to open my bag (which I didnt see where their policy stated that..... and no I wasnt sneaking anything in, but it was just odd because that was my first time EVER being asked that). Mind you, we frequent the movies quite a lot, so it took me back that she asked that.... She then proceeded to ask me how old my son is.... WHY does that matter? We are his parents accompanying him to see a movie that WE, as his parents, deem okay for him to watch. If his age was an issue, why they would allow us to purchase a ticket in the first place? Why are we being questioned as we are entering the theater instead of when purchasing it? They allowed us to purchase a CHILD ticket, why does she feel so entitled ask me how old he is? That really rubbed me the wrong way, hence the review today. Someone needs to be aware of the profiling they are doing on not EVERY PAYING CUSTOMER. The concession prices are OUTRAGEOUS, but no more than any other theater. Its outdated, and some of their staff (just the one lady working on Monday 1/27/2020 at 1200, grabbing the tickets) is incompetent, everyone else was pleasant. Cannot wait for EPIC to open up.

Edited: cant imagine why I originally have them 4 starts, but here it the update. Here on a Saturday. ½ hour late for our movie, because the lines are atrocious. If you cant keep the lines moving at a reasonable pace then at least lower the price. Next time Ill just go to the budget priced but faster Ocala 6.

Theater very nice and clean well maintained and staff where kind and helpful. Seating was not good. Not enough room in chairs and you should have people you like next to you do to lack of personal space.

Bring all your money cause you will need it all. Typical movie theater, concessions will eat you alive. Took my son and his friend and spent over $30 for a large popcorn, 2 medium drinks and two bags of candy, WOW! They have assigned seating now. Not feeling this at all. As long as everyone seats in their correct seats all is fine with the world. Happy viewing!

Nice place! I dont go to the movies much so, I dont have any comps but, we saw Star Wars, in IMAX 3D, and it was great. New seats, assigned seats, the only thing I can say is, in the IMAX 3D, dont sit all the way in the back, the 3D affect is better a bit closer up. We moved down 3 rows and that was enough. Im sure younger people would enjoy it way up front. Also, the employees were friendly.

We go to a movie theater for the experience it offers, not so much the movie. This theater is so incredibly dated, expensive, and underwhelming in every aspect. This is the first theater I’ve been to in years that does not have the deluxe soda machines where you can choose a variety of flavors. You even have to get it from the people behind the counter. I’m guessing so they can charge you for refills on soda that is literally the cheapest thing you can buy in this world. You want water? You can buy a small bottle of it for almost $6! The popcorn “station” (if you can call what a sad table that is) didn’t even have extra salt to put on popcorn. Most places even have flavored shakers, like cheese, to put on your popcorn. My husband was very disappointed in that. This is the first time I’ve never eaten more than a handful of movie theater popcorn. It was bland and just greasy from their so-called “butter.” The seats are not comfortable. The movie was supposed to start at 7, but we didn’t even get to the movie until 7:30, if even that. I’m guessing they were short staffed and someone didn’t start it until they could. The reason I gave it two stars instead of the one is only because of the employees I had the opportunity to speak with. All of them very nice and a gentleman behind the counter went out of his way to make sure our daughter could have the popcorn and the oil it’s cooked in (many allergies). To the owners - it is time to put some work into this theater. It is dated. It is grungy. You charged wayyyyy more than any theater I’ve been to that’s even remotely looked like this. We will not be back until it’s upgraded. Would rather travel to a nice one a half hour away to give my business.

Watched a movie in theater 3 today and the smell of it was absolutely disgusting. Smelled like dirty and mildew. I didnt even wanna eat my popcorn. Then being next to the imax that is all you can hear and feel. Super annoying. New theater is almost done being built. Gonna lose some customers if things are better. Dont bother replying with a generic message.

Love this theater! As always the food and snacks cost more than the movie but its a nice clean environment for the family.

Definitely a 5 star place! The only problem I had there was trying to figure out which movie I should see first. The worker in ticket area was very well informed about each of the movies I asked about, very helpful. Great popcorn too and extra large drinks.

Courteous and polite walking in and at the counter. Of course theatre food is always over priced. But, guess thats just how it is. The real surprise was the beer and wine. Hopefully theres a limit so you dont get any rowdy and obnoxious drunks. Theatre seating was very good, and we were able to reserve our seats.

Nice movie theatre. Its always clean when Ive been there. The FOOD, is so OVERPRICED, however, that it is prohibitive, for example, a hot dog (not all beef) is almost $6. A small soft drink that would normally be $1.50 is over $5. I consider the disparity nothing less than theft.

They changed the theaters and not for the better. The seats are smaller from side to side and you are literally touching shoulders with the peraon next to you. Seats are uncomfortable and small from front to back as well. I could smell the person next to me. I know you are asking why not move to a new seat? WELL you cant, you have to choose a seat and stay in it. No trash cans in the theater rooms them selves so I had to hold my trash instead of disposing it. Never again.

I had not been there for quite awhile. I found the theater very clean and the staff helpful since I am challenged somewhat mobility. An Automatic door would be nice. Seats are comfortable and the newer reserved seating is good.

There needs to be more cashiers at ticket window and a sign informing people they can purchase tickets inside at a kiosk. Theatre was clean. Employee at snack counter helpful and courteous.

Waited in line to buy tickets for 20 minutes. One person taking tickets is ludicrous. Missed all the previews. Hire some ticket takers. Movie was great. Manager a real dud.

Definitely an OK theatre. Once you start going to some other newer theatres with the nice comfy power recliners and bigger screens though, you begin to notice that this one is starting to fall behind a little bit in those terms, especially since its about the same price. Hope they can renovate it sooner than later since some serious competition is heading to Ocala (Epic theatres) Once that hits, theres no looking back

With all of the theater options, there is bound to be a movie for everyone. Seats are comfortable and reserving a seat with online ensures you sit where you want. Concession prices are HIGH so make sure you join the Regal club to gather rewards towards free or upgraded food and drink.

Went to watch 1917 last Sunday at 12:45 showing. Once the movie started it was immediately apparent that the audio was not in sync with the video, approximately a 1/2 second delay. Nothing was done by management until nearly 40 minutes into the movie when an announcement was made that the show would be paused while the issue was corrected. Approximately 20 minutes went by before things got underway again however the audio was still out of sync and the movie started back about 15 minutes from where is had left off, then without noticed the movie stopped again and the restarted from the beginning, again the audio still out of sync. During the portion of the movie (Approx 30 minutes worth) that we had already seen I went to the lobby to consult with management. Without any questions they offered to refund our tickets (4). I returned to the movie to watch the rest of it out of sync with the audio when a short time later the staff came in an advised us that since we had been refunded our money we would have to leave and could not stay for the movie despite the audio being out of sync. Since we were there with other friends we didnt want to be rude and have already been embarrassed so we had to go back down to the lobby and repay for our tickets. We did not get out of the movie until 3 hours later at 3:45. This is the worst experience Ive ever had at a theater and strongly recommend you go somewhere else for enjoyment of this type.

Always fun coming here. My husband and I have the Regal Unlimited and they make it so easy to use. The staff is always so nice.

I love the movie theater. But the manager tonight was racially discriminative towards me because I wanted to go see a movie called Queen and Slim. She wouldn’t allow me to buy a ticket because I was a little late. And she said it with and attitude. Very rude and disrespectful.

Simply put the ticket prices listed for a matinee are ridiculous. Way to high for the Ocala Theatre. What goes around comes around. If Regal Ocala would like good reviews then show fairness in pricing. No one should be paying the prices listed for a matinee showing.

Its a decent place to watch a movie. The customer service is overall fairly good, though I think they can be a bit slow at times. Three stars because you pay a lot to watch a movie in a theater that is in dire need of an update!

Oh boi. They did a showing of Promare! Studio Trigger new first feature film. It was a fun time. I wish there was like a special gift us fans could get like in Japan for coming to the premiere. Like a small poster ya know? But still Im glad this was available to see in my location.

We go here about once a month when new movies we like release, its usually clean and the staff are nice. Just getting hard to keep going as its so expensive to go just for me and my wife, its easy to be over $50 for two people with entry, popcorn and a drink and maybe one snack.

The price was alittle expensive for the movie and the food. But the seats were very comfortable. Loved the 3D movie.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Always an enjoyable time seeing whatever is out. Donate blood to save three lives and for free movie tickets. Eat before you come. You can’t go wrong. The theatres are large. Comfy seats. Popcorn is good. And I’m loving the semi healthy options popping up.

Very nice theatre. Clean and comfy seats. Staff overall was good. Missed out on 4800 reward points because staff member forgot to ask for it. Took my kids to see Pets 2. We went to the 515 showing...and wow! Most amazing movie theater experience ever! Us 3 had a IMAX 3D theater to ourselves! How often does that happen? But on the other hand it was sad, because it was proof that going to see a movie in the theater is a pastime. Maybe if it didnt cost $70 for a adult and 2 kids to see a movie, more people would go.

Like most movie theaters today, their ticket prices are outrageous but they do have decent senior prices. The food selection inside is extensive. Everything from popcorn two hot dogs to nachos etc. The seating is very comfortable and the chairs are wide. Sound system is great. They also provide captioning glasses and or headphones for the hearing impaired. I dont give them a high mark because of the exorbitant prices for tickets and food. Shame on them! If you have a big screen TV and home theater system wait for the DVD to come out and buy it! You will probably save $30 over what two people would cost in the theater.

Its always a treat to go here. Always clean and very friendly staff. The IMAX theater is so immersive I always recommend it over other options.

First run movies. Usually one of the theaters with early release shows off the hottest new movies every week. Friendly staff. Clean theaters.

The movie was terrible ️, was supposed to be a comedy. It was the Will Ferrell movie, we left halfway through. Popcorn and drink were good.

My son and I saw Avengers Endgame the day after it came out in theaters, which was a really great movie. So many emotions through a 3 hour movie. I totally love the idea of assigned seats. Glad I took advantage of purchasing my tickets through the regal app as well (didnt have to stand in line outside). Popcorn is always great!

Concessions manager needs to learn or needs to be changed and hire someone that knows how to run this show. Come on.. people is tire of waiting for 20min to get a popcorn and a soda. There is great availability/menu and the employees are nice but their system is unbeliavable... bad...A few sugestions: get one or two people prepping orders while some are just cashiers. Create an order recipt so there are product being prepared.

Bathrooms are always clean every time that I go. Staff is friendly, theaters are clean and the popcorn is always yummy! I have no complaints :)

Great movie theater. I dont usually go on the weekends so my experience is always nice and the concession stand is not overly crowded. If you get the pretzel sticks tell them light on the butter because they are saturated I wiped them down and still had a lot on it it was pooled on the tray with salt, they do give you a side of mustard and cheese which was nice. Letting you know a small soda is the size of a medium but get a large if your sharing. Things are pricey those pretzels cost pretty much of $9 but have a nice night out

Best theater in our area -- seats are pretty comfortable and online or kiosk ticket purchasing make waiting in lines a non-issue. When I ran into a ticketing issue recently, the customer service was excellent, and the staff helped me resolve the issue easily! Somewhat recently upgraded seating with all theaters being stadium style make the movie experience enjoyable.

Awesome sound but the theatre itself had a not very clean smell.

Do not watch a movie in the theater next to the IMAX. The theaters are not properly soundproofed and you will hear everything in the next room. There is a new movie house in town that is soundproofed and you will not have this problem.

Regal better beware- each visit it seems like they have a new plan on how to seat, collect tickets and with a new Theatre coming soon..they are giving more reasons to switch- including not checking each theatre for temperature

Really 7.00 dollars for a soda. The guy in front of us got a large popcorn two sodas one bag of m&Ms paid $28.49.I understand that the concession stand has to make money in order to keep the theater open whats the cost of the tickets. But gouging customers. We should all be making a stand for them to be lowering the prices at least by 1/3

I prefer Ocala Center 6 because of prices, and service but the movie I wanted to see was no longer showing there. Had to splurge for my niece and stepdaughter to see Frozen 2.

Because I live equal distance from Ocala & The Villages I had to decide where to drive an hour to see a Fathom Event that would be shown tonight only. I chose the wrong one! 14.00 dollars to see a movie that will be shown only this night and the rocket scientist in the booth doesnt have the intelligence to turn the house lights down when it starts! I called lights a few time with no result other than that other patrons in the seats seconded me by also calling lights! After 10 minutes I left the theater to find someone to complain to. And they did, finally, turn off the overhead lights. So Yes, I spent money on gas and admission to miss part of the show because of incompetent staff! Next time- Meet me in the Villages- not Ocala!

I enjoy Regal theaters all my life from Hollywood to Ocala/Gainesville. In Gainesville 3years ago they renovated to reclining seats Omg what a difference. I am incouraging Ocala Regal to upgrade.The new Epic Theater in Ocala is about to open with reclining seats. Just saying

The movies were great, this may have a slight influence on the rating. Other guests were a little noisy but that was because I went at a later showing, you need to know the risks!I was using the movie pass so it was worth the visit.

Theater is fine, good seats. I dont use the co session because of pricing. What I Do NOT like is the pick your seat policy!! People should be able to sit where they want when walking into the theater not outside looking at a screen.Not happy!!!!

Loved the movie,but do not like the fact that we have to choose our seats when we buy our tickets. We had a difficult time today. We chose our seats and before we finished paying for our tickets someone else took the seats we picked. Then we had to go to customer service. We found this a big annoyance and questioned our choice of theaters.
