A little longer of a walk in than I was expecting. But I really liked it! Very clean, the water was gorgeous. There are a couple of porta-potties, no real trash around which is nice.

A nice little park area on McGrath Pond in Oakland. There is a baseball/softball field, picnic tables, swimming area, fishing from shore opportunities, and carry in for paddle craft as well. Outhouses are available and handicapped access as well. A small playground for the kids and short trails along the shoreline. Despite the numerous trash cans people still seem to throw trash around unfortunately, but otherwise it is a nice place. No smoking or alcohol according to the signs, but again pleanty of evidence that folks do that as well. A dog walking only area near the parking lot for your pups as well. Located off of route 137 on the McGrath Road.

Beautiful spot. Well kept. Just people need to use the trash cans provided by the park instead of leaving bottles and cans everywhere.

Beautiful park with swimming area, picnic tables, and playground. I love that its free and personally I feel its less ratchet than the boat landing.

As always a great place to spend the day very well cared for were very lucky to access to this great picnic area and swimming spot.

Great place to bring the whole family! They have a picnic area. They also have great nature trails for the kids to walk. You can find some great fishing holes. The swim area is a little small but it is great for kids of all ages. They have the built in grills if you wanna grill. A small playground for kids. Its not huge but with so much to do it is plenty big enough. Plus they have huge grass areas for the kids to run and play and be kids!!!! Picnic tables are spread out in several different areas. They have a small place just as you get there to launch a canoe or kayak. They have a softball field that in the fall doubles as a soccer field. During the season they have a port a potty. I really shouldnt be saying all the great stuff about this place as it will attract more people! Lol!!! I honestly love this out of the way gem and Im sure you would also!

One of our favorite summer places. I think theres a bathroom, but it was locked last time we were there. Thats my only complaint.

Little bit of a walk through the park to get to the water. Liked there was a playground and enough picnic tables. Beach area was on the small side, so not really a place to just sit in the sand. Quite a few rocks in the swimming area too, watch your feet.Large park and even has a small playground.

Not an awful park. Nice little jungle gym for the little ones, plenty of areas to go swimming. Good baseball field. A little to much trash sometimes. But thats everyone fault, just need to carry out what you bring in. Lots of trash cans so really theres no excuse. All in all though a good area for the family.

Great, clean place to relax and swim. Even with a lot of people it is not crowded with benches and grills available. So much fun to go and definitely a hidden gem for the area.

What a beautiful spot. Access to the lake all around the point. Its like having my own camp site. Could use a potty cleaning, has only one porta potty and it was full yesterday.

Very nice place. Ball fields, walking trail, pet friendly and some acces to water. Well maintained and kid friendly.

Great spot for a first timer for swimming!

Great swimming and BBQ place (grills already there) with lots of green space. Water is clear and there are rock piles to dive off from. The only reason why it does not get 5 is because of the porta potty.

Nice spot to bring family swimming. Outdoor grills. Wooded trails to walk around. Fishing. Beautiful scenery.
