It is a nice neighborhood park in the area namesake. It is not well maintenanced, although a new bathroom was built here in the past year. It has a soccer field and a couple of tennis courts, which some of the locals are using to play a different sport. and a lot of trees, some of whom obscure what would otherwise be a nice view of downtown Oakland and San Francisco on the other side of the bay.

This park needs a little attention just like many do in Oakland

It has become a tent city at the park! I can not believe the unsanitary conditions at this park which I used to go to!

Feels like a different world kinda place. A great place for a bike ride or taking photos. Just make sure the whether is nice because theres little cover if it rains.

The people who have no home other than outside has been a problem with breaking into cars the past few months and garbage in the streets and park has caused polluted areas The city cut down 4/5 trees this month the pictures are out dated now Its still a good neighborhood to live Neighbors just need to report more if property damage and thefts so the mayor can help the area

Left me 21+ days, and into December with 2 broken heaters and a dangerous electric radiator. The problem exists at the executive level. Nobody cares.

I pass through every morning and enjoy old people dancing. In the afternoon, kids play basketball and others play Go. Wish there were more parks like this throughout Oakland.

We all cant advocate social justice on an everyday basis, heck, most of us cant even be weekend warriors. However, every first Wednesdays, a collective of grassroots organizations run a small fair at Madison. Come out and get information on issues that effect your community. Come out and join the fight to save cultural spaces. Come out to get your bike fixed. Join in, every first Wednesdays at Madison Park from 12 p.m. till 4 p.m.

I do like the people doing there morning exercises but its a drab place. The dragon circling the childrens playground is cool.
