Great view looking over the water, viewing the Olympic mountains and the surrounding islands.. Very relaxing listening to the sounds of the waves. Smiles go and enjoy, live view is so much better then the pictures. God Bleas you all

Beautiful sunsets views from there. Its secluded from other places.ATT, SPRINT, TMOBIL has zero service near the water or in the parking area.

Friday, 12 June 2020, Oak Harbor, WA.(Day 661 TG) 53°F. 6:30 am, rainAwake, dress, drive to a w-mart for coffee and com. At three, I drive to the west side of the island to the Hastie Lake County Park to view the straight of San de Fuca and take photos of west beach while I wait for Andy to get home from work.

What a gorgeous viewing point. Open water, the island, rocks, and a small beach make this park the perfect sunset viewing place on Whidbey. 10/10 would recommend, romantic walk or no ;)

Hastie Lake Low tide August 2nd 2020

A special place that my daughter and me frequent, on average, once a week.

Its a great spot to enjoy windy wavy sunsets. Lots of driftwood and rocks. Really stroll worthy.

No benches to sit and look at the water and the wind is string and cold here.

Great place to watch the sunset. Better yet, check it out during a High Astronomical Tide, just dont be sitting on the bench during one!

This public access to the beachhead ample parking, spectacular sunset views. The adjacent beaches are private property but owners typically welcome beach walkers that are respectful of their gift of access. If you look carefully, you may find an agate on your walk.

This is a rare public access point on the shore. Its used by fishermen a lot. Also, there are some pretty nice views. Its worth a look if youre passing by.
