This is a stop you wont regret! The staff is fun and accommodating but that aside it is by far one of the most fun roadside attractions! They have old toys and candy that you will only appreciate if you are over the age of 35! And they have whips...take it from me they work per my husbands lower region. This has many great opportunities for family photos that are rich in history. Lastly, stay to see the miniature show! Very interesting show and history lesson. Never thought I would say miniatures are cool....but I have officially been proven wrong and ....miniatures ARE cool! Have a great time and yeehaw cowpokes!

Very interesting place. Reminds me of the tourist type of places I visited as a child. The outdoor area is great for kids to run around and play in. The indoors is packed with buffalo bill facts, merchandise, and trinkets. Its free to get in but there is plenty of things to buy there as well, so if you bring your kids expect to fight off the constant can I get this reaction to the vast amount of kid friendly merchandise. All in all, a nice little break from the road trip.

Cute little place to get off the highway and stretch your feet. We got there 10 minutes before close so we left the dogs in the car and raced through it. I forgot my nice camera in the car but this is very 80s 90s nostalgic. Back when there were plenty of attractions that was there for families off the exit. It was a neat miniature museum with a few giant pieces. After the quick run through I had to let the dogs out of the car and took them for a walk around to get a few cute pictures and go get gas. Worth stopping and checking out if youre in the area or getting off the exit

He talked us out of using a dispenser that gives tumbled stones from all over the world, checking the guide above to see where they were from.

As a 10 year old kid in the 1970s traveling out west, Fort Cody was on our list of interesting places to stop as we drove. We had breakfast down the road at an old coffee shop, bison were roaming across the field (really) and then I remember driving up to the large wooden gate and making our way in. Was a fun stop and placed Buffalo Bill as a real part of American history in my mind. Cant wait to get back again one day.
