Cool little park in the middle of nowhere. If you blink you will miss it with so much to do.They have horses here and a petting zoo sign. I saw many horses here and a big closed in are where they keep them and ride them. There are 2 picnicking areas that i saw. One bigger then the other one. One is located by the front of tje park . The other one is more private it is by the back side. It is near a kids playground. The playground is closed. The park has really nice walking trails. They are a dream if you like nature and photography. The trees form this beautiful shady canopy. It is truly a nice park. I am so glad i found it.I saw two walking trails. One that leads across a bridge. The trees are different in that side and not so shady. That trail takes you in a complet circle. It is a shorter trail. You can see peoples backyards too. I like the other longer one.The park looks clean. They have signs everywhere to wear your mask. I felt comfortable here.
We had a guide who clearly loved and was passionate about all of the animals. They were all rescued in one way or another and the up close encounters are as good as they advertise. My favorite was jaws the American alligator!
We went to this park bc we heard they were open and had a petting zoo. We went on a Saturday and it wasnt that bad. I was worried that it would be packed but it was manageable. I only went to where the petting are is and the pony rides. The staff is super nice and accommodating. I recommend going if you want a quick trip to the park and something different to do with the kiddos. Its $8 for each the pony ride and petting zoo.
The park need better trails. the trails are a safety hazard. they should collect a dollar for entry fee to maintain the trails.
This is a beautiful park with lots of shade and a trail that winds through the woods. There are a lot of mosquitoes so I recommend bug spray. There is also horse stable and petting zoo in this park and one of the walking trails is right next to the stables. One of the horses was super friendly and let us pet his nose. Great experience!
Great place kids to ride horses. Ask for Sebastian he is the best
Absolutely enchanting with the beautiful different types of trees the bridge over the small brook with birds, Turtles and fish and beautiful trails!!
Lovely park, 23 acres of old Florida. There are stables and some play areas as well for families. Amazing birding location. Lots of various warblers.
It would be nice to be able to have lunch in the park if it werent for all the drunken homeless people who sleep on tables at all times and the cars that go in and run like theyre on the expresseway
It’s a park that is it’s own little treasure. Small park but it makes you feel like you’re walking through a wonderland. Love going there
Great place open during COVID. Theres pony rides and petting zoo for the kids. The trail is nice, breezy, and calm. Lots of shade. Great for a picnic or just a stroll.
Enchanted Forest Elaine Gordon Park at night. Right uphill from the Shakespeare in the park outdoor summer theater so got to hear rock music playing while walking around.
Very enchanted indeed! Very beautiful forest located right in the heart of North Miami! The trail will make you forget your in such an urban area and that is a great thing! Love the horses and petting zoo! #enchanted #forest #park #horses #pony pettingzoo #trails
Really nice park. Great for families and exercise. They have horse back riding and a petting farm. We will be returning.
This is a very fun park. Im not sure if youre allowed to ride the horses but they have them.
This is a medium sized park with two concrete loop trails. When you are here you are transported to a forest type environment and are surrounded by peace. There is a stable with lots of horses and a petting zoo. There is also a nature tot school, a natural creek with a bridge, and a play area for children. The community garden could use a little more love! :)
Beautiful place! Lots of trails.
So a friend suggested I go to a park I’ve never been to that just happens to be about 12min from home. It’s located right off of 135 St. and Biscayne Blvd. It’s called Enchanted Forest Elaine Gordon Park, and there were all sorts of animals all around, white ibis birds that usually fleece but were coming up to me, ducks, raccoons, colorful iguanas, a spider up in the trees, horses you can ride. It was a great experience being close to such majestic creatures. Overall, a great day at the park, walking the trails and taking in the nature around me. Small park with lots going on inside. I love this place, very enchanting!
Love coming here with my kids, great to see animals up close. They dont look so happy though with pretty limited space.
Come and bring your kids for a safe little pony ride!!! Animals will eat from your hand!!! Wow!!!An amazing and cozy place. Very courteous staff and very well trained horses too.
I love this park. I take my kids there, all the time. Below are pictures of the iguanas that we saw. The walking trails are nice. My kids love the horses.
Very nice small park, great for walks and running. Has 2 jungle gyms and pony rides for kids. Sometimes theres spiders in the wooded trails and you can hear trains pass by, but besides that its great. Also theres a pokemon gym and an EX raid gym, with plenty of pokestops.
The friendly staff, environment, and ease of figuring out things. Its a nice park for families.
Ive lived here my whole life, I will never get bored here. Theres always something to do, whether its nightclubs, kayaking, surfing, bars, parasailing, sky diving.
Clean park has lovely trails but bring insect repellent.
The park seems lovely but we came to ride the ponies which closes at 3pm (not indicated on the site). The volunteer who was manning the pony section was very rude in how they let us know they were closed, without acknowledging the eager little girl by our side who sat in the car for an hour anticipating a pony ride. We did not expect them to open up the rides for us after they were closed, but a little kindness and understanding would have gone a long way, even with a second glance seeming apologetic that we had just missed the window having arrived at 3:10. Holding a position that is unpaid does not excuse rudeness or the right to be dismissive, especially when children are involved. The website should be updated with the hours of operations, and volunteers appropriately screened to ensure they won’t sour a family’s Sunday and leave little children in tears.
After going for a family picture session, a park employee kicked us out at 4:30 stating that the park closed at that time yet the site clearly states that it closes at 6pm! He had locked the gates at 4pm! Besides the awful staff, the actual park looks beautiful. Very disappointed we couldnt stay longer since we drove 45 minutes to get there!
I have been going here since I was very young, still love going every time.
Just did a nature walk in the Enchanted Forest, which turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had in South Florida due to the exceptionally knowledgeable guide, a certified Master Naturalist named Lola Heasley. The topic of the walk was Invasive, Edible, & Historical Plants of South Florida. Ms Heasley was able to demonstrate multiple instances of all of the above, while imparting upon the attendees how the park is more than beautiful, but alive with a dynamic interaction of the plants, trees and animals with each other, and the effect of humans, for better or worse. She may even have saved our lives with one of her demonstrations, that of a beautiful berry, the ingestion of the insides of which would result in a slow, unpleasant death. Any time you can spend with Elaine Gordon Parks amazing naturalist will be time very, very well spent.
Nice little hick. Surrounded by beautiful trees and I saw so many turtles.
We had a nice family time. Nice nature walk forest trails. Children enjoyed themselves in the playground area... a nice animal petting area for the children. Great staff helps adults riding horse and pony for the children. I recommend this park if you havent been. We will return again thanks enchanted forest.
Very pretty little refuge with foot paths and loads of lush flora. Wish dogs were permitted. Crowded on weekends. The park is quite small. You’d have to follow the path around several times if you wanted to log miles jogging or walking. Which isn’t a problem. It’s just not expansive. It’s better for a slow Sunday stroll or just to pass a little time in nature. Which is special, given that it’s in the middle of such unlovely urban sprawl. What a gem.
So green and peaceful.
Beautiful park. It really does feel enchanted.
Loved spending the afternoon at Enchanted Forest. We walked the trails, saw lots of wildlife, and enjoyed nature in a relaxing atmosphere. There were pony rides for kids as well. Next time, we will bring a picnic.
Beautiful and enchanting hidden gem!!! So relaxing and peaceful park.
Wonderful place to spend time. Trails are amazing, the kids will love it
This park is really nice. We went there for a little walk and we had a good experience there.
Enchanted is an understatement just the sheer aspect of the trail and the way its done and how the Sun comes in at the right moment and you can just sit on along the side of the grass and just enjoy just nature and the animals and just everything around us is just a beautiful experience and its very Serene and tranquil must see if youre into nature or even if youre into just time with yourself its a must-see also anyone with kids they do provide pony rides I believe be there between 5 and 10 bucks kids absolutely love them parents may not theres poop everywhere but the Joy on your kids face I think it would Overlook the poop
Great place to bring the kids. Friendly staff. All the plus.
Nice place to walk around
Was nice. First visit live in the area and never knew. Will visit more, planning trip soon for pony ride and petting zoo soon.
Bums, litter, nasty water scene. But, beautiful location and design.
It’s quiet and peaceful I’ve been going to this park since my son was 1 and he’s now 18.. kids can ride pony’s for a small fee. Picnic tables, restrooms, water fountain and such a beautiful trail to walk and see the iguanas I would recommend for adults and children.
They have Pony rides and a sweet donkey. Perfect for the kids and its peaceful just to look at them.
Charming little park. I have been going there for years, a very well hidden park that take you to an unexpected quietness. The water here is brackish and it is a winter heaven for lots of wild fish species. Every Saturday morning there is a group Tai chi practice here. Mesmerizing to watch or anyone can join them for a free lesson.
Small park but has a playground for kids, petting zoo with ponies and horses and a nice small trail.
My daughter loves this place, its an inexpensive out door experience that ur child would love!!!make sure u take at least 15$ to do it all...5 pony ride,2 to feed the them,5 for the petting zoo and tip...take a small snack to munch on afterwards
Love that park nice and quiet cleanGot a petting zoo and hourse rides
What a beautiful park, they even have horse riding lessons and all.
As much as my children and I love the wildlife and forest here, it can be dangerous. Today a pit bull pursued a child on the playground. Somehow the 6 year old escaped with only scratches, but it was terrifying for our children and us.Pets are prohibited at the park, and it’s unfathomable why, of all places, the dog owners chose to sit by the playground in particular.Parents, be on alert for two young white men with a white pit bull. The dog was initially wearing a black muzzle and black vest, resembling police gear. For some reason they let the dog off leash.I will no longer be visiting this beloved park alone with my children. As if the dog incident weren’t deterrent enough, the addicts loitering on the other side of the park made me ready to leave, one watching my kids and saying indecipherable things to me.I could not reach any personnel or even a voicemail to report such concerns.Otherwise a beautiful place to see iguanas, ibis, turtles, large fish, ducks, and rare woods in Miami! I just wish I felt safe there.
Great for walks, bike riding and horses
My daughter loved the ponies! So i love this place
Love this place...its small but lots of vegetation in a dense area. I guess they have pony rides too
Come here every Sunday with my kids! They love it.never want to go home!
It was wonderful just like it was last year we had a great time and were going to come back next year like we did last year a great experience and the staff was very friendly
If you are from the north, you will love this place as it is one of the few wooded areas with actual trails. very nice.

Horrible, i drove for 1 hour in order to find the place where my family was . no signs, terrible road .
This park used to be so much better. The caretakers just dont take care of it. The path is horrible, the horses look malnourished. Ill never go back. What a shame.
Great experience. Beautiful park
Huge park, plenty of nature. Very relaxing except for when the train goes by.
Lovely place to get away, but its scary as well with signs like this around.
It was an awesome experience! Will go again soon! I enjoyed my stay there.
This is the most beautiful hidden park. The atmosphere is quiet and just right.
I absolutely love this park. Ive lived here for as long as I can remember and this park has been my go to place since I was a child. If natural, horses, and other wildlife is something you enjoy then this is definitely somewhere you want to visit. Theres also walking trails and a playground with a picnic area.
Alway one of my favorite parks. I have so many memories from childhood here. I have attended probably 7-8 Love Ins with my family over the years, went to birthday parties, had picnics, rode bikes. This park will forever have a place in my heart!!
Beautiful Oasis in the business of Miami Dade.
This park is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city.Once you drive through the gates, you feel as if you are transported to a special place in the country, lots of wildlife and plants, walking trails, bikes to rent. And the best is the petting zoo at M&M Stables. And the ponies and horses are available for lessons should you be inclined. This park is a jewel for the city residents of N.Miami.
We love that park.It is nice clean and the kids enjoy the horses and pony
Annual holiday tradition in Miami. A must see. One long block where everyone gets together to light up the night. Turn the corner, turn off your lights and enjoy.
Very happy place to see the animals are loving and caring they are all very well fed and fat except for the chickens they seem to be hungry I didnt see any food or drink but they were healthy all the same
Pretty little park with lots of shade. Great place to bring kids (especially on the weekends from 10 to 3 when they can go on pony rides and visit the petting zoo). Its a nice little oasis in the middle of a very developed area
This is a wonderful park, full of trees, trails, and picnic areas. Its kind of hidden in plain sight, on 135th St, just west of Biscayne. Turn in immediately west of the railroad tracks or youll miss the entrance.
Beautiful park... Name is suitable for the vibes. The residents on the street behind the park decorate every year at Christmas time. Its a cul-de-sac and is enchanting, just like the park itself. My parents took me when I was a child and I take my children there now. Its become a family tradition. Definitely worth taking your kids, a magical experience!
Love this place! Serene trail, peaceful lake and the horse petting zoo is lots of fun. Will be going there more often once baby can do pony rides.
Been coming here for years. I love it
Amazing!!! They have nice ponys.
Love it theres an amaizing forest school with great teachers and a great environment
I like this unique spot in Miami it is refreshing and kind to my soul I often go there to meditate and get my peace
Good for birds and butterflies. Needs to be cleared of invasive vines.
Nice place to take the kids the two play grounds are under the trees and it has horses a trail
