It has quite the rustic feel as there arent many visitors. The paths are clearly marked with cut logs but also offer a bit of mystery as they turn and curve as you follow them along. The Butterfly Garden was my favorite part of the trail. Youd never know you were in North Miami except for the traffic noise from Biscayne Blvd. Parts are closed off due to the pandemic, Id visit again to check out the museum.

Awesome walking trails, the lady that created us (part time staff that used to work in the Grove) super sweet lady. We got there a little late to do the tour but she hustled up a story for the kids and took us on a tour of the park. Super informative. We got to see a turtle! Tons of pretty butterflies. Thank you!

I have always enjoyed this quite woods in thr middle of a busy city. Although i found that it was lacking. Being kept up. Although there was a about 5 young men with the same park t shirts. Yet they were never working something was off .. If i was alone. Or had young ones i might have been intimidated and left. Maybe thats why we (my Brother) and myself were the only ones there? Now to be fair there was no problems we exchanged coming and leaving. Its a great place to take your lunch break. Escape the city for a few minutes if youre in N. Miami

I’m a Miami native and I wish I knew about this park earlier! I went there last weekend and the staff was soo passionate and friendly about the animals and nature. The place is truly beautiful. The hiking trails is not that big but the beauty, the museum, natural bride and iguanas make up for it lol nice place to take a walk and disconnect

Great place to come out and recharge with nature in the heart of North Miami. H and Melinda are very knowledgeable and pleasing to meet. They have several activities for children at a very reasonable fee. Parking is limited but because of its location, its not heavily populated.

Beautiful nature trail. Very friendly staff. I love the replica of the natural limestone bridge. I saw both a male and female northern cardinal and lots of butterflies today. Be careful driving there because the road in the park has room for only one vehicle at a time. Also watch out for iguanas and racoons crossing the road.
