Decent place. Friendly people too nosey with lots of rumors but it happens. I am with a family member and i also have another reason that qualifies me at my age here but i get looked at like an alien and followed around by the security guard and i have to go to the gate to let someone in. Lot rent is over priced but it is a nice community. The guy at the pool was nasty with me and my friend. All we did is walk in and sit down. They seem to stare at my black friend like a criminal but it could be due to age so who knows. Many people are vacating and selling due to the lot rent and rudeness of the front office.

My mother lives here and its nice, quiet and very well maintained. Neighbors and people around are very nice. Even if my mother is not social.

Stay away from this place! The parent company, ELS, must want mean, non sociable hardasses in the office because no matter who it is, they are extremely rude.

Bad park unprofessional, outdated old trailers, and scam park lot payments $900.00 a month for a small lot and lots of rules and regulations that are unnecessary and unfriendly place. Do not buy or rent in this park its not worth putting up with the rude and cheap .

They have a gated community and two pools very pleasant and feel safe!

I don’t understand why it’s so hard for the staff here to pick up the phone. I’ve called so many times over my gate code not working (each time on a weekday) and they never answer. This has been an enourmous inconvenience every time i have a guest i have to go all the way to the gate. Also been threatened to have my car towed multiple times when no one has ever took the time to tell us there’s overflow parking, which we would’ve never found considering the lack of signs.

Not so much that I dislike but the office employees are not very friendly theyre not very helpful and finding your way around in a big place like that they dont offer park maps they dont like visitors just not a comfortable situation

This place is huge with over seven hundred mobile homes or what they call manufactured homes. Mostly all double wides and if you buy one in there I hope youre financially secure because rents are very high

Bucaneer Estates is a very secure and very nice mobile park. Its 55 and over but you can have anyone over 40 there with you. Nice lake also!!

The monthly fee is the reason why most people do not want to move here. In 15 months rent has increased 3 times.ELS is a corrupt company and does not do what they are responsible for, office staff are rude, has had 3 managers in 15 months.

Stayed with my grandma during a recent visit. Nice pools and other amenties for the retirement community that lives here.

Park manager Antoinnette has always been extremely helpful when I’ve had any concerns or questions. Buccaneer Estates Is a wonderful place offering lots of amenities for the residents

The on-site management team works hard to make this the great place it is! The people who live here, me included, are pretty nice too.

Moved in here a year ago and have had problems ever since. Was lied to by manager about the house I purchased and then she and everyone who worked here except 2 people were fired the beginning of November. The security here is terrible. The bars at the front and back gates are constantly being broken and ELS wont give us a guard at the front gate like we have requested. The rent here is one of the highest in the area and we dont have very good amenities like the other parks do. So many people want to leave here it isnt funny. I wish I hadnt bought here.

We live here and we love it! Beautiful property, nice for residents to take walks, ride bikes, walk the dogs.

Homes are too close & very little vegetation. Must cost a fortune to keep cool in the summer.

EDIT: NOT a 55plus community. Holy cow its monthly fees are the most i have ever seen by hundreds. Homes here sell for often less than 10k because the monthly fees are 800$. Been here 11 years. Watchout for fake reviews shilling this place. People are nice though.

I had left a positive review earlier, but I had the pleasure of meeting one of the Board members today. Didnt catch his name as he shook his finger at me because I followed another vehicle through the gate. I am staying here short time until the purchase of my house goes through, am quite thankful that I have a very short time left. If you decide to stay here please remember to bring your gate card; otherwise you too might have a wonderful welcome like I did. Others that I have met have been quite nice, but one bad apple can leave a very sour taste in your mouth. I thanked him for his hospitality.

Over priced garage!! My mother and grandmother live here and the take advantage of the owners but give privileges to the renters and drug dealers! Mother is out and grandma will be in one month! I hate this place. The office people are absolutely no help!

THEY must be kidding? HIGH monthly fees! THEIR signs say video surveillance and radar speed check...NOT SO!

I have been a resident of Buccaneer Estates for going on 5 years this coming March and I have to say the first 3 years I was fully employed and once I retired and got to see more of the activities here and the people you have to come and see this place to believe it It is an awesome place to live the people are Dynamite and programs are awesome

Terrible community with awful people. Neighbors are nosy, rude & in everyone’s business . They also have an online website where all the neighbors go and bully each other like teenagers... even posting videos and pictures of peoples properties In an effort to embarrass and harass each other . My mother lived here and she basically had to give her home away to sell it.. her neighbors down the street would stop and stare in her windows if they were open, she never had any privacy . Also while taking care of my mothers home & pets while she was hospitalized I forgot her gate card and was stopped by “residents” at the front gate and they called the POLICE ON ME. Even though I was in my mothers car... they (civilians) demanded to see my ID and told the police I was burglarizing their community which ... is an over priced trailer park down the street from sun coast estates with a bunch of snobs that think they live in the Taj Mahal . Don’t move here if you want to have a life, privacy or guests .On second thought, just don’t move here at all.

A quiet retreat in North Fort Myers. 55+ gated community, featuring 2 club houses, 2 pools, excersise facilities and a unique Pirate flare.

1st get it straight over priced we pay tax pass on fee for property we dont own. Certain people are allowed to do were others arent. It is not 55 and older we have 40 year olds and we have children that are 24/7 in the pool. Some people want to make a difference but its not gonna happen we are going to sell in less than yearPlace sucks.

This community is really bad. The prices are very high and the rules are the worst I have seen. Not a place I would reccomend at all.

Because its clean and well maintained and I have accounts in there while I go and we weed wac and blow and spray for weeds and a lot of people are friends and very kind

Buccaneers Essay a very very good place.

We really liked this community and visited it several times over 6 months to get a good feel for what they had to offer. We finally found a nice place there for sale and decided to begin the buying process. During the application process we let them know we had 2 small yorkies, brother and sister, who were 1 1/2 years old and were trained not to bark. We were told there was some association rule against having more than 1 pet and suggested we get our doctor to write a note saying they were medically necessary. Of course the doctor refused. When we called back they seemed completely uninterested in working with us. I can understand a rule that prevents animal hoarding but give me a break. We will find a nearby community that will have no problem taking our money.

I live in Buccaneer Estates and It is expensive for lot rent. We do live on a big lake and our rent is $810 which includes water, sewer, grass cutting, trash removal. You can find homes cheap in here but the lot rent is what kills alot of deals.
