I only gave 1 star because I had to in order to leave a review. I have lived in Ashely Arbor I since 2011. When new owners took over approximately 5 years ago the neighborhood began to go down. It is no longer a safe, clean and nice neighborhood we once knew. I appears that management is only concerned about squeezing in as many homes as possible to bring in more funds for themselves. We have had car break-ins over the past few years and one of the neighbors car was stolen. Also, our old management used to be strict about keeping your yards looking neat. They would send letters to the tenants and give a certain amount of days to clean their yard or mow the lawn, etc... before you would be fined. We thought that was extreme but didnt realize how good we had it until the new owner just let whatever happen and does nothing about trashy yards, etc... They put up a new flag sign saying welcome to the neighborhood to make it look like its a nice neighborhood but in reality the Police are in here frequently and it has become what I consider unsafe. I used to feel safe walking the neighborhood for daily walks but not anymore. They avoid having the work done to replace old water/sewer lines which causes continued back-ups. There is so much more to say about how this place has gone down but I do not have the time.Update: Also, the night of my first review, I heard loud noise outside of my house. When I looked outside someone was jumping across the fence in my yard going into the back door of the home in front of me. This is unacceptable.

Its a diamond in the ruff, but its about to shine. New management ready to work with residents to be a place to call home.

Great place to live,quiet,nice,an great people.Its really a good place to start a family.

No option for zero stars gotta love a place that just evicted a legally blind disabled woman from her home of 28 years after she was released from the hospital i understand she was behind on rent but even the judge was appalled by the decision to not even offer a payment arrangement i also know several people who live here whos rent has increased at least every 6 months
