I was impressed by the good upkeep of Reaves Park. The grass, sidewalks, play areas, etc. were all in good condition, free of trash, & had obviously been tended to recently. There was a good variety of areas suited for different groups & ages, from simple park benches for sitting & relaxing, to high-energy playground equipment.Highly recommend!

This park is truly perfect for children of all. My boys love this part so much because of the wooden playground. This is one of the parks that I prefer to take the boys to when its sunny. None of the equipment gets hot enough to burn the children and theres a play area for each childs developmental stage. sometimes things get broken but theyre fixed really quickly. If theyre not fixed quickly they are safely secured for a short period of time until they are. We really really love this park!

Excellent Park!it looks like an old fort with lots of levels for kids to run and play! But its stress free in that the parent doesnt have to run through the tunnels with them to make sure the child stay safe, because its all perfectly safe even for toddlers! Wonderful place for parents to sit back and relax :-)

My Daddys name is carved in stone here in the Navy section. He had Alzheimers but he always enjoyed visiting his name at The Cleveland County Veterans Memorial. Bringing my Daddy here is one of my favorite memories of being his daughter.

Aside from the storm rolling into the area while I was there, I love that they have so many options to sit and do whatever. I was just there with my honey having a bite to eat before headed back north it was nice.

Its really a Utopia for kiddos. Its castle-like appearance incites the imagination as soon as you pull up and theres even an obstacle course of sorts to keep them challenged in their playing. Its probably the best park in Norman, honestly.

Reaves Park is located on the campus of the University of Oklahoma located in Norman, Oklahoma. It is a awesome place to tailgate before a OU football game. The great bonus of tailgating in the park is the fact that the OU busses drive by the park before entering the dormitories. I would encourage you to arrive at a game early and head to Reaves and knock back a cold one and enjoy pregame activities!!

They have a great WoodenFort-like play place that kids from toddlers (with parental guidance) to pre-teens all seem to love. There are a number of open shelters and picnicking areas. We had a lot of fun using the sand volleyball courts. As community resources go, this park is highly recommended.

This is the best park I have ever visited. There is plenty of open fields that are well maintained, perfect for kids to run around playing. There are plenty of picnic tables and pavilion of various sizes. There are just enough trees to provide shade for those who want to avoid direct sun. The best part is the playground. This playground is the best I have ever seen, both in function and design. The main part takes the form of a well built and extensive wood castle, with many towers, drawbridges, and even a dragon face climbing wall. There is also a space ship and pirate ship to extend the settings kids imagination

I have many great memories at Reeves Park. In the 70s Reeves was the first park in Norman with a Tornado Slide. They also had a log cabin playhouses that no other park had. I have enjoyed the fireworks there every 4th of July more than 25yrs. This past weekend I attended a political Ralley for Bernie Sanders. The energy in the crowd was electric. Reeves is a great event spot or meeting place.

Very nice entertainment park for family and was able to accommodate a presidential rally of about 4,000 people. There are picnic tables, Bar-B-Q charcoalers, kids play ground, baseball fields and lots of parking. The Bermuda grass turf was very well kept. The park was very clean.

It is a great park and tons of fun! But they they lock the doors to the bathroom on the weekends so make sure the kids go to the bathroom and I guess dont have many city workers to haul off the trash so sometimes all the trashcans are over flowing and trash on the ground, the play equipment is at a 5 star, but with the lack of cleanliness and accessibility of the bathrooms of the park it drops my overall score to a 3. If the problem areas are givin more attention in the future Ill resubmit a review.

Great park on sunny days, not so great after a rain storm. Its old mulch and now mostly mud. Theres a couple of drop off points that are a little scary for a little one but it is fun to play hide and seek on.There is a toddler area separate but might not keep them entertained long.

I have been going here since I was a kid. Good playground I just wish theyd improve the park some and maybe do some maintenance. I removed a board with nails in it once just laying on the ground. Some of the fencing is loose. But its too great a place to just let it go. I love it here

Its a pretty standard little park. They play sets here arent the cookie cutter ones you find in most new parks. Reaves has a big wooden castle. In addition there are several swing sets, a smaller area for toddlers, several covered picnic areas, and a soldiers memorial. If youre looking for fields for throwing a frisbee, the park gas that too.

The softball fields are a little less than desirable. They arent mowed on a regular enough basis. Hit a ground ball hard through the infield and it wont make it to an outfielder because of the length of the grass. Infield dirt is so soft I didnt know if we were playing sand volleyball or softball. Work on it Norman!!!

Wonderful park! My kids played at the amazing hand constructed (locally) playground many times over the years. Also have been to ceremonies at the Labyrinth. My boys played softball there several years in a row. And now that the Medieval Fair is held there each Spring, its been able to grow because theres a lot more space than there was at the Duck Pond what it used to be held
