This is one of my favorite nature parks. Its a short little hike along a fun creek good for shells hunting, rocks, and good old fashion creaking. When there arent a lot of people we ride are bikes along the trail. My only complaint is the trails arent long enough. I wish they followed the river through town.

Its beautiful but the mosquitoes are so bad that even with bug spray my toddler and I cannot walk on the trails. Also, two different people didnt have their dogs on leashes there and one of the dogs jumped up on me while I was holding my toddler. Thank goodness it was a friendly dog and not one that could have really hurt either of us, but that seems a little ridiculous to me. Keep your dogs on leashes people.

Just nature. Plenty of access points to the creek. A little close to 38 even when you are aways in. Supposedly it will be developed at some point in the future.

Had a wonderful experience here with my husband, our baby and our loving dog. We walked the trails and just enjoyed nature. It wasnt crowded, heck I think we only seen one other person the whole time we were there.

Pretty park, enjoy taking quick walks through the woods here. Not very usable during or after rain, it’s a floodplain.

Trail is very relaxing and easy to navigate. It runs along side the creek. Many, many mosquitos. Make sure to wear bug spray.

Decent place for a nature hike with the kids. It wasnt crowded and the water is easy to reach. The water was really low which made lots of nesting areas for mosquitos.

A very expansive park! I was blown away by how big it was. Unfortunately, the recent (fairly light) rain had flooded most of it, so I wasnt able to get very far. I would totally recommend going if you enjoy a good nature walk! Just dont go if its been raining recently.

This place is in excellent birding location. I personally added five nest boxes to help make it even better :-)

Nice area. My family used to camp out directly under the Hague road on the edge of the rivers beach when I was young. Geocache is nearby ;)
