Great people running the park great views lake has been dredged and restocked with fish. Very quiet and peaceful. Would gladly return to this place.

Talking to the drn person told me when things would be good fishing. Told me that swans where on the pond.

Love what they have done to fix it up. Just wish there was more camping spots and spots not out in the open so close to the road.

It looks much nicer, especially water clarity since they dredged the lake.

It once was a great place to take your family for picnic or a day at the park for fishing. It will be once again when the reconstruction program is complated. It truly will be better then ever.

What a great spot! Dry camping at its best. Very large sites, was either $6 or $8 per night. Water is available to fill your containers and there is a vault toilet. There is also a hiking trail that is very well maintained, a buterfly garden and a great fishing hole Im told. First come first served, no reservations. If we are ever in the area again we would certainly go back!

Although the lake is being dredged at the moment, its always been one of the best Crappie fisheries in the area. Hopefully it gets restored to its former glory!

Place is always pretty weedy, makes it hard to fish but makes a great place to catch frogs has a small park and there campground is almost perfect.

Love the new added bonfire pit playground, they show continuous care for this small yet useful family fun area
