If you are in Newton, this park is a great option, instead of other parks near by, I havent seen bugs in this one while you are sitting, which is the reason I visit parks, to sit and enjoy nature.

Best feature: Morning shade!2 play structures. The 1-3 yr is completely fenced in with slides, stairs, swings, drums, and more. The older area had all the same with plenty to keep everyone busy for an hour or more.Nearby basketball, baseball, and tennis areas. Plenty of shaded picnic tables for a family lunch.

Shhh, keep it down, we wouldnt want more people finding this place.

Great shade for little ones on a park

Quiet. Shaded well until noon time. Larger swings need some greasing, very noisy. Fun steep slides for older kids, as well as separate little kids area with shallower slides. Two decent tennis courts on small hill above.

I go there a lot I have fun with a lot of my friends. Every time you go you meet new people and have fun with them like on the basketball court. Such a fun place to go along with family.

Nice park with tennis courts, ball field and open field. Benches throughout. Paved walkway for wheelchairs. Plenty of shade.

Awesome paly ground for both big and small kids. The tennis courts are really nice and theres a basketball court. Theres also a field to run around in. Nonantum is a great neighborhood with plenty of cool shops and places to eat
