This place is one of jewels of Newport. Within walking distance of the cliff walk entrance. What a beautiful place to beat the heat. The Views are spectacular. Parking attendant had great customer service. The parking lot was clean and well designed. I highly recommend this experience.

Love this pristine beach! Lobster rolls were great! Beware of the seagulls however, who will try to snatch the food right out of your hand. The many signs they have around are correct ...we found out the hard way

Too close too major road to get some relaxation. When I went there the waves also looked like they were throwing sludge up on the beach. There is plenty of on-street metered parking $2 an hour and max of 3 hours (take both credit cards and coins).

Great Beach at awesome location... near by is cliff walk with spectacular views... good measures for Covid 19. Nice and safe environment for family.

This season, this was the only available beach for day parking, so we didnt have a choice but to come to Eastons Beach, but we were pleasantly surprised. The beach is wide, clean, and plenty of space to social distance. Parking is $15. The snack shack had the best lobster roll for $19 and theyll even deliver to your beach chair! The restrooms were the cleanest of any beach weve been to and they kept cleaning them throughout the day. Theres also Dees lemon ice truck for a frozen treat. I highly recommend this beach.

The cliff side walk make you feel that you are a tiny being in the wastness of the Nature.

Great place for a late fall visit, plenty of parking. Not so many visitors, makes it so much like enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

I visited this beach in August 2020 and it was really sensational I could see the Red Sea it was a unique and beautiful experience. Its beach is really clean and beautiful and not to mention the lobster roll that they sell right there. excellent experience and a super recommended place

One of the best beaches Ive been to. Wide beach, somewhere around a mile long. Small pier area with shops. Parking lot with high cost, or metered street parking at a better price. Great view of the cliff walk and mansions on one side and houses facing on the other side. Beach is enclosed on both sides so waves are smaller and much more enjoyable. Sand is very soft on your feet. Lots of seagulls, its fun to watch them drop clams and fight over them. The ocean is reddish due to the algae, which is pretty. Not overcrowded at all. Highly reccomend and within walking distance from the cliff walk.

This beach smelled like pure sewage. We paid $15 for parking for 3 hours and unfortunately didnt smell it until we walked onto the beach. We couldnt stand it for more than 20 minutes. I dont know how it was so packed or how everybody else was just okay with the smell. I am really not exaggerating it smelled like sewage or trash. Quick Google shows that the town is clearing out a large dump that closed down in the 80s. folks in the town are starting a lawsuit because theyre having respiratory issues now.

Folks are social distancing appropriately. Sand us nice, beach is clean, bathrooms available, $15 to park on a weekday. Beach is easily accessible. Beautiful waves. Bad: too much red seaweed !

Awesome beach. Not crowded or expensive brought my own food but they had the amenities if you decide to eat there. Great place to go

Ver pretty beach located right near our hotel. We ended up there right around sunset. It was beautiful. There was also a wedding going on in one of the local venues and they were taking pictures at that sunset moment. Im am positive they had perfect pictures to remember their wedding by. A little chilly that night as its November. But i sat in my car and watch the sun set. Loved it. The next morning there was about 10-12 surfers surfing. That was neat.

Our family loves Easton’s Beach, especially in September. Gorgeous vista, plenty of space for swimming or surfing or just walking! It can be windy, so be prepared. Enjoy the beach, and after, go around the corner to Empire tea & coffee for a snack!

Technically the first real beach Ive ever seen, and it did not disappoint. Very peaceful and beautiful no matter what time of year.Please do not bother the sea birds

Nice place to pull up right next to the beach, just be early because parking is limited due to the proximity to town. Can also get funky with algae.

The beach is breathtaking and so is the cold, ever so cold water.

Very clean beach, great location. Not overcrowded. Parking lot is very close, you buy ticket for whole day. Highly recommend to visit local aquarium on the beach, staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Nice beach to relax after doing the cliff walk. The place can get crowded on nice summer days. Parking can get difficult. Has some of the best waves.

Eastons Beach, located on Memorial Boulevard at the start of the Cliff Walk, is a 3/4 mile long surf beach with a board walk. Its not free. Parking fees are in weekdays 10$ and weekends and holidays 20$ per car. They give one parking ticket and we also park in street its free. The beach was awesome lots of waves. The waves are not very big so kids can enjoy a lot. The beach is very beautiful no rocks no dirtiness no any type of littering we must take a garbage bag because they have not any dustbin. No alcohol and cigarettes and lots of traffic its is little annoying but beautiful beach must go..

The beach was awesome. Me and hubby went to the historic mansions and the Walk Cliff. Unfortunately the overcast from the ocean made it look gloomy, but we still had a great time.

Good beach but had some inch worms which got stuck on us and spoiled the experience a bit. Also they have a lot of red dead seaweed which is not my type. Good restaurants and walk as well as an Aquarium for kids. There are nice clean public restrooms and washing areas which weren’t that busy.

The day we were there, it was raining, we could not enjoy the full extent of the beach and all it had to offer. Water looked nice, we did not swim, but are planning another visit

My favourite beach, been coming here for years. Went to a different beach last week, not without regret. Lifeguards, snackbar, carousel, bathrooms and showers plus more. (Not during covid). Bery convenient especially for families with children.

Beautiful beach right next to a cute little aquarium that the kids love. The life guards are kind and attentive and the beach goers follow the rules and make for an excellent time.

Covid19 restrictions are in place, but that just means credit/debit payments for parking only, facemasks at the food stand, and less than 15 people in a single group. Other than that, well groomed, well staffed, and overall nice beach. Weekday parking is $15, weekend is $25, and they are a town beach so the state pass wont apply, but those prices are on par with anywhere nearby.

Tends to have a red tide issue..... best spot I know of for skim boarding though. There is normaly a food spot open on the boardwalk and most days the Dels lemonade truck is there. Iv seen volleyball tournaments before but dont know much about it

The smell was not great, sewage. There was a lot of red tide. On the positive side, the water was warm!

We went to the farmers market hoping to see the Patty &Buster show but we missed them. The beach is great, there is a small aquarium and year round surfers. Bathrooms and showers . And of course the beautiful white sand beach

Beach has a maintained changing/shower room which has 4 private shower stalls, incredibly useful if you are there for whole day visiting and want to rinse off before leaving. bring ur own soap, shampoo, towel. No temperature adjustment but water is definitely comfortable enough for kids to take a shower.Outdoor showers are in fact more like misters.Beach has bathrooms and a restaurant and lifeguards.Parking lot is $10 weekdays, $20 Sat and Sunday.There is metered parking for $2 and hour and can use a credit card - 3 hour max.

One of the best spots in town for lobster rolls at the concession stand! Twin lobster rolls w/french fries (now $15.87 this summer according to Yelp)...still a bargain plus a great view of Eastons Beach & Cliff Walk while sitting on the deck! Not a fan of 1st beach for swimming mostly b/c of all the seaweed/redtide. Great to walk the beach though all year long. Walk the dog in the off season here. The summer concert series and the Childrens Night Performances are a fun event.

Love the set up with the waves, impossible NOT to catch a wave! and the gradual beach... But no showers...

Very nice city Beach with life guards around. You can find shells and also enjoy your time with waves. Water is cold but what would you expect from Atlantic ocean?

Love this beach and its cleaniness. Another add on is cliff walk near it on the walking distance. There are some amazing beach shots you can capture from cliffwalk and beach. Sometimes the parking is paid($20) but you arrive after 4 pm there are no parking charge in the summer. Beach is well maintained and have a kids area as well. Pets are also allowed on the beach. There is an aquarium next to it which we havent visited yet.

Great Beach, soft sand and nice water with smallish waves. Seaweed in spots but nothing abnormal and some spots are nice and clear. Great Beach for a walk, attentive life guard, dedicated section for throwing a frisbee, etc. On this day, a good chunk of the beach has volleyball nets for a tournament, not intrusive but added view.

Very nice beach except at times seaweeds wash up. Their snack bar has one of the best lobster rolls in the area. They are closing on Sept 29 for the season that we had for lunch. Much better than one we had at San Fran last week.

Ive lived here all my life the red tide is gross, other than that its a beautiful beach

Beautiful! Perfect place to set up a tent and chill. But leave enough time and energy for the cliff walk.

Very pretty beach, small waves and a lot of sand. Has lifeguards in duty. There is street meter parking. There is also an entrance to the cliff walk located at the end of the beach and it is also a close drive from downtown so there are other activities and places to eat in the area.

The Cliff Walk was beautiful. Parking was very easy on a Sunday evening. We couldnt manage to walk the whole Walk but the scenery was unforgettable.

A clean beach and space. Ample parking and wide-open beach access. Sand groomers are onsite. Its close (2 min. drive) to coffee shops and entrance to Cliffwalk. Free and metered parking.

Well kept beach with plenty of room. Indoor bathrooms, indoor stalled showers, port a potties, snack shack, shop and lifeguard station (which close earlier in the season than the bathrooms and showers?). Lots of parking in the lots. Very nice to visit. Not a bad idea to call ahead to check on conditions if youre traveling far.

The beach itself is beautiful. There isnt garbage strewn about which is what Ive seen at some beaches. The water seems to be clean. As far as the the beach itself is beautiful. The beach buildings are closed now. Which means no access to bathroom or shower on site. But its also not in season. What I will say about the infrastructure at the beach is that some of it is in disrepair. Would make the atmosphere better if the buildings where well kept up. Overall nice place to go spend an afternoon. Also a nice spot to clear your mind

Highly recommend. The seafood shack up on the boardwalk had amazing fish and chips... One of the highlights of our vacation. Cliff walk was fun. Aquarium lady came over to show us a baby turtle they had found. Down by the rocks we found great finds like lobster claws. Stinky down there though cause I think its a bit of a graveyard.

Nasty beach smells bad and has worms in the water. Lots of seaweed too. NASTYYY
