My daughter had her wedding there it was a beautiful atmosphere and lovely view.

Such a nice view, and so nice to sit and watch the ocean on the benches or set up a picnic blanket. also good for photo shoots!

As a local, this is one of my favorite spots. Its a small park, with very limited street parking, and no bathroom facilities. However, what it DOES offer are stunning views of Newport harbor and the Newport bridge. Its a great place to relax with lunch and a book to enjoy the breeze and view.

A charming little Park largely unknown unless you know the area. Located in the Point area of Newport. Built over Fort Green which was used in Colonial times. Home of the Blue Rocks on Narragansett Bay.. has boat ramp and small beach below it.. Looks over Goat Island. In my Grandmother’s day a place for lovers.. now there are benches,a small park but lovely to picnic .

The Point is a nice area to take a walk. And there are always interesting rocks and shells to look at down at the beach.

I love this park. I grew up a block away and my brother and I always played there. Beautiful view of Narragansett Bay and Newport Bridge. Lovely sunset.

It is on the water so the views are nice. But the lack of parking means you have to double park on the road and then there is not enough room for cars to get by so even one extra car causes a minor traffic jam. Plenty of trees for shade and a railing for safety. Nice place for photos. I was there as a wedding photographer and the pictures are fantastic with the bridge as a backdrop.

My daughter and I have dinner there once a week. We put a bench in as memory of my mother.

Peaceful, with a beautiful view, quiet, and also romantic. Not only does it have benches where you can sit and watch the boats, the bridge, and the gorgeous Newport sunsets, there is also a huge grass area where you can sit with a chair or a blanket, and have lunch or dinner and also get some sun. Also, there is a small Beach area where you can sit either on the sand, or there are some large rocks that you can climb on and sit also. Its a private area. Also good for collecting shells if youre like me and you like that sort of thing. :-) its a spot that me and my husband love to go to.
